Day 2 of a 7 day trip from Canberra to Bourke, to Narrabri, to Armidale and back to Canberra. The main goal (apart from having a break from working from home) is to collect counties, and see some of NSW I haven't been to before. Cache easily found. TFTC.

# COMMUNITY CACHE #
There would appear to be community interest in keeping this cache going even though it appears to have been abandoned by the cache owner.
As the issue is one of coordinates that are 16m out - I have adjusted the coordinates to those provided by 'Swampcreature' in August 2017
Accordingly, I have updated the cache information and enabled the cache.

Heading down from the Queensland Outback Geomuster with micaparamedic we though that we would stop here and just try our luck at this one as it had been found since the need maintenance log. We uses Seemyshells co-ords and then simply followed the GPSr to gz where we had a nice easy find and our names have been added tot he log book. Everything is in good condition and ready to go it just needs the co=ords updated.
Many thanks Wilyam2003 for the cache

Coords had us at the correct spot to make an easy find. All is good with the cache.
Thanks Wilyam2003 for placing this cache.

This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the accuracy of the cache co-ordinates. The cache has been temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that listings must contain accurate GPS coordinates. At the moment it would seem that this requirement is not being met in regard to this cache, see the guideline here: [**Listings must contain accurate GPS coordinates.**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#coordinates) Could you please update the listing with accurate coordinates? A how to is here: [**How do I update coordinates for my geocache?**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=61)
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [**Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [**Temporarily Disable and Enable,**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [**Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.**](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)

Traveling home via Snowtown, Broken Hill, Cobar, Dubbo, Forbes, West Wyalong &Temora, finding a good variety of cache types and hides. I visited some interesting historical towns and bush locations, which made the round trip well worth the drive.
I did as much maintenance as I could, replacing damaged containers and full or wet logs.
Signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, wilyam2003, for us and others to find.

Day 17 of our caravan trip going South from Queensland. Stopped at my birthplace Culcairn , explored Phillip Island and Wilsons Prom, took The Great Alpine Road to Bonegilla and Wodonga.
Spent 10 beautiful days in Victoria. Now in NSW.
Driving back home via Goondiwindi.
Made this as a welcome shortcut.

Despite going away and coming back we just can’t find this one. The GPS on the phones keeps bouncing between the trees. Inaccurate Coords doesn’t help. Sorry.
Ditto to swampcreature. I went looking in the wrong place, read the clue, still couldn't find anything, went to read the past logs... The first one said it all. Found it quick and easy once at their coordinates. This place intrigued me. Shame I hadn't come in my geomobile and with time to spare - would have gone exploring here. TFTC
Got it eventually. The posted co-ords had me barking up the wrong tree, but I saw a good hiding place nearby and checked that. Couldn't see anything in the early evening gloom and was about to give up, but I got a torch from the car and came back for another look, and bingo CIH! I recorded the co-ords as S 32° 30.301 E 148° 12.660
A nice spot off the main road. Coordinates were off a bit but found it in the end, TNLN thanks.
Cairns trip 2016. Day 1. Today I set out from Canberra caching through Cowra, Forbes, Parkes and Narromoine before spending an unsettled night at Narromine where the smoke detector went off at 2am ! The caches were a collection of the usual roadside collections and visits to some very interesting places. A long but fun day.
Thanks.

Found at 10:27 AM GAFF1.
We were on our way to Dubbo from Parkes, but made a slight detour to do a few of these caches along the way. This cache was also a bit out - 14 metres, but there was nothing else in the vicinity so we knew where to look, however it still took a while to spot as the eyes had to adjust to the darkness.
This looks like a great spot to camp - nice and quite and flat
Thanks wilyam2003.

Our journey south continues, and our tally of smileys is spreading across the map. Thanks to all the CO's for some interesting caches
My third find of twenty in the Narromine area. Quick find when logs said co ords a bit off.All quiet here. Cache all good. Tftc
This was quite a quick and easy find and we even guessed the hiding place well before we arrived at GZ. After the log had been signed the cached was replaced where it had been found. Thank you for placing this cache for us and other cachers to find.
We parked on the side of the road but on walking in soon realised we could have turned this one into a DIDO. No kanga's were seen at all. The co-ords had us looking is a place where there was no cache, so when you do this cache go to GZ and then look a little further to the next logical hide, hoping this brings more smiles to this cache. SL TFTC
Well I looked around here for approx half an hour no Geo Trails or flattened grass other than the ones I had made searching, then back to the geomobile to read all the previous logs, still really no definite help there, back for another quick check around Zilch ! So when Mrs.K got back from birding she had a look and it was located within 10 minutes RRRR. !!!
So the logbook was signed 7:00 pm then replaced all as found. And I returned to the Camper Defeated .
1 x TB Visit. - Batman Returns.

I was on me way to either Narromine or Dubbo today
And as I wandered around the long, wet grass looking for this cache,
I still had not made up me mind which
First I had to find this cache.
Which was taking a while [:o]
I read the notes again,
double checked the GPS.
Sat down for a moment to think about where a lizard would like to be.
"in the sun warming itself !! Of course."
That last thought did not help me in my search for the cache
Persistence paid !! And the GPS decided to behave and settle on one spot
And there in the obvious place, which until now I had obviously not noticed, was the obvious cache
TFTC !!

Found on a trip to and from Tocumwal, NSW, from the Gold Coast. Appologies for the late logs, I have not been well of late, suffering from mental illness, but am planning a caching comeback, so thought I should do my best to catch up on logs.
Tha caches visited on this trip were not very numerous, but were quality caches. Thanks for all the hides.

Wow this has not been found for such a long time, I just had to have a go. Short walk from the road and located it in the third place I looked, really would not like to do this one on a hot summers day, I don't like snake bites. Tftc
Nice easy find after a long walk from the highway. Towing a big van sometimes makes it a bit difficult to access caches off the main road, but it does make sure we get some much needed exercise. TFTC
We made a detour to find #10 so thought we might as well continue on to this, though at this rate we'll never get where we're going. GZ wasn't where we thought, even the gps wasn't that sure but an easy find in the next spot we looked. TFTC wilyam2003.
my gps had me flat out like a lizard trying to work out why the cache would have been at this tree when the tree over there would make a much better cache hiding spot. that's because it was a better hiding spot cause when I eventually decided it wasn't where my gps claimed, I finally found the prize. think my brain is frying in the heat today. no roos or wallabys today no water in the creek either. tftc.
