Extended the search area and checked along fence line too. Flax has been planted since and its huge flax so its been swallowed up in its environment.

Big caching day out with tmann421 ... 20 hours ... 1005 kilometres ... 76 caches ... Wairarapa ... Taranaki ... Wairarapa

I left home at 3am and meet up with tmann in Sanson to be chauffeured around the ‘Naki. We spent a lot of time zig zagging around to bottom of the mountain on the way to New Plymouth, and then we looped around to the north and back down through Stratford. We drove a lot of roads we hadn’t been on before, saw some amazing sights and had a good time. We even had time to do a few caches in Wanganui on the way home.

Thanks for all the caches placed for us to find.

Stopped off on the way home from work to grab this one. I was just carrying it back to the car to sign when a workmate crossed the road to see what I was up to. After a chat about geocaching he returned to work and I was able to replace the cache relatively unobserved. Thanks for the cache.

FTF this morning, awaking to a sunny day & decided to cruise the back roads of the Naki. Decided to go check this out more thoroughly then in the rain the other day & widened my search area for a quick find which had the gps 7mtrs out. What a great start to my day and year which was just thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for all the new caches TreMichLan Smile

No luck here this morning, at gz & found the hint object which appeared to have housed a container at one stage as the grass was depressed......or maybe I was just looking in the wrong place & it wasn't my morning Sad An enjoyable drive all the same.
