While we stayed at BIG4 Bellarine for Australian Deaf Caravan & Camping Group, Found it with silence49 and Lance51. Thanks, Flying Platypus for placing it.
In town for a non-geocaching event, I took the opportunity to make a weekend of it, and find some caches in the area. Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 joined in with the fun.P4506 retrieved after I spotted with selfie camera. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Flying Platypus ~~
Once we managed to find a parking spot, Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick and myself took a short stroll back to look for this cache. OHC made the find where I had already looked. Obviously I must have had a "boys" look. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy.
Late logging this one. Had a few days away enjoying this area. Had am tea at a very popular cafe and noticed a cache was only a few meters away , so naturally couldnt resist the urge to get our name in the log. TFTC
A clever hide a the best time to come to this spot. I reckon it would be chaotic during normal times tftc
A long planned trip away finally came to fruition as we headed off to Geelong after a gap of some years to catch up with caching friends. There is always a good variety of caches and hides to search for and Geelong itself is a pretty spot with lots of places to explore. Plenty of history and lovely scenery with the bay, riverside, open paddocks and bushland. We particularly enjoyed the many trails and riverside paths where Mrs SKI could give her new ebike a workoutA great time was had with lots of laughs and ribbing as we searched for the various caches and wondered what we might find next. We also had the chance to catch up with some great local cachers on a lovely evening out.Logs signed as SKI Pair, SP or RASP.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Flying Platypus.**SKI Pair****
Found on a typical Summer day with Roostaman and friends, on a a short trip to Vic. . Lots of travelling and caches as well. Thanks for the cache Flying Platypus, ***MrsRoosta***

What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Flying Platypus for the cache.

*The Wait Is Over Date Day Adventure #3*
This cache has been curiously vexatious. We seem to come to Drysdale on bright, sunny days, when there's lots of people out and about. I have driven past times beyond counting, and have even determined "most likely hide locations". Well, today turned out to be neither bright nor sunny... which curiously suited us fine. With SueHut as lookout, a quick look, a quick grab, a surreptitious signing, then a quick replace were executed with admirable stealth and precision.
And only a waiting-room full of Physiotherapy patients to watch us!
Thanks heaps, Flying Platypus!

Been trying to get this for ages but always too busy. Well the rain meant less traffic today and we got it
Haven't been out for a cache in over 2 weeks so decided to to hit up Drysdale area to collect a few smiley faces. A nice and quick find thank you
Thought it was time to tackle an old blue face when there were less muggles around. An early morning attempt achieved a good result & now have a happy face here! Tftc
The weather today was nice and cool and conducive to getting out and about, and the geodogs were keen for some exercise, so we ventured out to pick up some caches. There have been many times we have eyed this cache off but left it to a time when there were fewer muggles around. Today was that day. Drysdale was like a ghost town this afternoon. Mrs Dromaniax has a nose for this sort of cache and found it before Mr Dromaniax was out of the geomobile. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you, Flying Platypus, for this cache.
Found it. Thought I might get locked up by the police next door but got it signed and placed the cache back. TFTC.
Need to look like a gardener to get this one. Way too many strange looks from muggles to keep looking. I’ll come back later with a different strategy
Came night caching here a few weeks ago - saw a redback on the cache and decided to come back later. Today was the day. Extracted with a stick as to avoid creepy crawlies while waiting for DVP. Tftc
Trying to do a night cache but spited too many spiders and got scared... may return during the day

La météo est mi-figue mi_raisin mais j'en profite pour visiter la côte ouest de la baie. Il y a de belle cache bien réalisée. Merci aux poseurs
Had a fun time trying to be stealthy with this one... probably best to try it at night!
A long while since we have cached close to home. Traffic galore but we had a very keen 7years old granddaughter so we were less conspicuous. Problem was that we weren't perceptive enough to achieve a quick pounce and flee. However superb coords and a phone that was surprisingly spot on meant that we eventually realised that there was only one device work careful study. Five minutes earlier l had assigned this task to the granddaughter but she is only 7, so another look, by me this time, was warranted. Sure enough we had finally got it. Thanks for some fun and l think we had been ignored by the public. Good use of a very public place .
Definitely needed stealth for this one. Hopefully no one really took too much notice of us old girls TFTC SL
It was more like 3 o'clock than 2:30 when I found myself in Drysdale and that was in the am so there was no muggles around at all. So I thought it would be the perfect time to grab this cache easily without interference.
With my GPS telling to look in a spot I managed to put my hand on the prize in the first place I tried. Winning
Thank you Flying Platypuse for the hide

After a successful morning completing a TTC with skullracing and DAZZPETE we decided to grab lunch at cafe nearby this one. With lunch out of the way we got down to the business of finding this. Lex made quick work of this one.

With the TTC conquered it was time for lunch with Skullracing and Jascat. We only realised that we parked next to this cache while sitting in the cafe.
This was quick find, sign and replace before moving on.

After a morning of being flung around up the top of a tree courtesy of the ridiculous wind blowing today, we retreated to the warmth of the very close by café/restaurant, that I can highly recommend the chicken BLT burger and chips by the way..and whilst sitting there chatting and eating and chatting, I glanced at the eyephone to see a cache right at the back of the car where it was parked, soon the way back, we stopped, we looked, we found, and we scribbled our names in the log, then it was back to the heater in the big soccer mum car.
While chatting with Flying Platypus at our joint FTF at Beacon Point, we found them to be the COs of this cache. Roundabout has caused us some grief from muggles and the level of stealth needed, but a clue has helped us and we can log a find at last.
It was very busy at the roundabout today but there was so much traffic that we were able to get to GZ and locate the cache without any hassles. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Flying Platypus for the cache.
Quick find. Took a while to get out as it was pushed way up inside.

Find #3618. Found @ 13:27 with The Good Lady Wife.
We're in Portarlington on a getaway, and getting in some caching is a part of that plan. We'd come to Drysdale to do some grocery shopping and went to a nearby eatery for lunch. After being told that the wait for food would be about 40 minutes, I decided to sneak out for the nearest cache. TGLW decided to come with me.
Wow! This is certainly a busy roundabout. I figured that the cars were whizzing past too fast to care about anything that we were up to. Using my phone camera made the find a bit easier, and the container was soon in hand.
Lunch was worth the wait.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Flying Platypus

Thanks Flying Platypus for this placement.
This was a bit of a comedic attempt. We had a lucky start, correctly guessing where the cache was, but in our enthusiasm pushing it further out of reach! It took a few goes to get a better angle. Definitely a lot easier with a partner providing interference for the passing traffic. TFTC.
Found with a group after breakfast at the zoo. Newbies very impressed with the concept and we 'real off to do more!
