Needs maintenance. Another cacher keen to hide in the area. We have moved away and are unable to maintain.
We came here with Nana and Grandad to have a drink and something to eat. Nana remembered that she had found a cache here quite a long time ago. She asked Grandad if he could remember where it was, he could not remember. Then she said "how about we use this one" as she reached down and got the cache. She had been able to see it from where she was standing. It is all in good order, so not sure why it was disabled. Nana signed the log for the three of us and returned a few centimetres from where she found it so it a little more hidden than what it was, but still in the same place. Thank you for the cache

I was walking through the nearby camping ground looking for a way out when I realised that I was close to this one so I decided to go for it. It didn't take too long to locate. Now on to find the final of the ? Sing a Song which was what I was originally looking for.
Out for a morning walk with Border Collie Mama. Beautiful sunny day in Tahuna, perfect for hunting. Thanks for the first find of the day.
Would love to have parked here all day, what a beautiful view! Thanks for the hunt.
A busy place but luckily for us we could parked right beside the cache. Had some lunch while we watched the dog people and found the cache. tftc
A quick find whilst searching for a nearby puzzle solution.
Two log sheets - signed the first one out which I think is the older one. All in good order, thanks for the cache Sunday 6.

I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

I was in the area and thought I'd check to see if there were any nearby caches and there was! About 25m away. A quick find, log signing and return. Easy! Thanks Sunday 6.
Thought we’d have a look at the beach between showers so it was good to make a quick find. TFTC

Greetings from Minnesota, USA! VikingNav and I are traveling through New Zealand for 7 weeks enjoying our great adventure. We spent about 3 weeks on the North Island and just came over on the ferry to the South Island to spend a few weeks here. We stayed in Nelson yesterday and today and this cache was on our target list for today. We enjoyed it very much! Log was signed. Thanks for helping make our stay in the area great! >^..^
Stopped by here while completing an earth cache, so decided to grab this traditional as well. TFTC
A very popular area so had to time my retrieve, enjoyed a little beach watching until there was a break in muggle activity. Quick retrieve, log and return and away I went. TFTC all in good order.
In Nelson for the weekend in the nearby camp and a quick dash out to this in between the showers!! Tftc
Sorry we forgot our pen!!
Sorry we forgot our pen!!
The first time I tried this one there were heaps of people around so I left it a few hours and attempted it again. A beautiful night for a beach walk rewarded by finding the cache!
We're on holiday and staying at the nearby motor camp. We came here after dark to have a look for the cache by torch light. What fun.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

Found on a VERY wet and windy morning having spent the night 50m away in the campsite! Tftc!
GPS kept on leading me into the bushes but once i realised not to go in there I had the cache quickly in the hand. Beautiful spot! Tftc
#3420. I had a work trip to Nelson arranged at very short notice so decided I would come half a day early to give myself a chance to pick up a few geocaches around Nelson. The weather today is a very hot summers day so making it fun. Having to open and shut the car window as I stop and start around the city. The urban caches proved rather tricky to find so didn't get as many done as I planned but still got 22 which is OK. There was a muggle parked nearby in a car reading a book. She didn't seem interested in what I was up to. So sat down to admire the view and very soon had the cache in hand. Signed log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
My boyfriend and I were at the campground near this cache.
We found the cache quickly.
Thank you very much.
Greetings from the Swiss

Quick find while taking the dog for a walk along the beach. Thanks for the cache.
I'm catching up with my online logs. I found this one in the company of Mermaid Man - thanks very much for the cache.
An instant find while staying 100 metres away at the campground. Thanks very much for the cache.
Last time we were in town a few months ago we checked this one out. Unfortunately, the area was cordoned off. We were in the area again today to fulfill some requirements for another cache, and the coast was clear. Quick find this time round, TFTC Sunday 6
Was here months ago with my cachehound, but weekday lunchtime seemed a very popular time to come sit in this carpark to eat lunch. No such problems today, just some walkers to avoid. Another walk on this lovely beach

Qick stop to find this one after checking out of motel. Easy grab and sign. All in good order here tftc.
A nice quick find at a quiet time of day. No walkers or dogs to be seen. Cheers.
ANZAC weekend time for a wee road trip. Ah Sunday, cruising around picking up the odd smiley.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

On our way to the airport, with Okayness, and with some time to fill took a few detours. This took much longer than it should have but found eventually. TFTC
Day 3 of an upper South Island holiday from Rotorua with sveppi. Staying at the campsite. Simply doing this because we were looking for something to do between dinner and bed. Quick find. Nice sunset.
we were here for a slightly different reason, had a look at the phone and we realised we had nearly parked on top of this one - so it was only right to make this another smiley face tftc
Like on all previous days of my holiday I looked for caches when I stopped at lookouts etc anyway - often there were caches hidden in such spots. But every now and then I also stopped my car when my gps pointed out a cache and it was possible to park nearby.
In the evening I arrived in Nelson after a great day in and around Abel Tasman National Park... I just had to go to this beach as the weather was great. Gteat view towards the setting sun. I just sat down - and logged the cache...
**TFTC** says *kinderarzt* from Germany!

Almost made this too difficult for myself, easy find in between muggles coming and going. Tftc.
Greetings from Canada. Parked here to complete the 3rd and final waypoint for the earthcache and then wondered if there was a physical cache in the area. Seriously? Too funny!
In Richmond for a wee holiday. Mr TG grew up here....and staying at Mum & Dads who still live there.
It's Monday evening & in Christchurch it's a usual mad mission night with TheWanglers.......what ho - TW is staying at the Tahuna motor camp??!!! What are the odds? As luck would have it we could both sneak away from our respective family's for a bit of caching around Stoke for a couple hours in the evening...niiiiiice. Stopped off here to pick up TW to start the adventure - and a cache nearby! Nice. Quick find and sign even with all the holiday makes hither and yon and all over the show....Nice view. Cheers.

Arrived at the camp ground and got everyone settled and I decided to head out and grab a few caches. I took out the bike and at GZ discovered that the wee close call that Mrs TW had earlier in the evening had bent the derailer and that the bike was stuffed, doh and on Christmas Eve! Oh well. Stopped by GZ and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Sunday 6.

I can't believe I couldn't find this one last year, but looking back at the logs of that time it seems it was missing. A quick find today.

Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Seventh day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. Driving to south and heading to Christchurch Mega event. Heading south by west coast via some nice caches!
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!

HockeyHiker19 and I were on day 6 of our geocaching honeymoon in New Zealand. My GPSr was pointing at the plants off to the side of the bench. After no luck, I reverenced the hint and was able to find it quickly after that. I did put in a replacement log as the other log was full.
