We started our cycle around this area with this cache. A short bushbash and a quick find thanks to accurate coords and a nice hint. TFTC jmaxadventures
Whilst it has gotten very overgrown down here, the cache is still in place.Ill add an extra clue. Downstream 407.
Wasnt able to find it, nor the location of the hint. Good chance it was either washed away in the floods or been eaten up by vegetation
Did this a few years back and couldnt find it as it was pretty dark. However revisited today and found it no worries TFTC!
Out with the clan today doing the heritage trail. First find for the day. Fun hide. TFTC
Today marks 28/28 days of my geocaching streak. I have officially obtained the souvenir for this month's challenge!
I plan to keep it going for a short while, why not?
I had originally searched for this cache in 2020, but got ambushed by muggles. I returned today, and thankfully the cache had been relocated. I was reading through past logs, and had the hide spoiled for me, but it didn't prevent me getting a quick shock when I spotted it!
While I poked around GZ, cockatoos flocked out of all of the trees above me. Really cool sight. Thanks for this awesome cache, FP, and thanks for being the final piece of my challenge!

A really neat and cute little cache here. Not the season for real dragons, which I always love to watch.

In the attributes it said there was dangerous animals nearby was it the cache? TFTC

The first challenge was deciding which side of the creek to search, and the second actually finding the container. Eventually thankfully I spotted it - cute! TNLNSL TFTC

Out and about grabbing local caches on a day off.
Nice container, nice spot.
Nice container, nice spot.
Incredible find in the midst of the suburbs. Made it a fun find today out on a run. TFTC! Fav point.
No real dragons around today, which was sad. While waiting for kids to finish school thought I'd try my luck with this one. TFTC
GPS was jumping around and almost gave up. Spotted a creature you wouldn’t except to find down there
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Interesting hide.

All good to go in his new home. Please note the coordinates have been updated as has the description and clue. Happy hunting.
When I found this guy I thought bingo, he’s just a decoy The real deal is a dirty little lizard at GZ
Cache is back in place. The gully has now gone thanks to council’s earthworks, but hopefully the dragons will still be about.
it was fortunate this was enabled on the morning of my wife's visit to Norwest hospital. It gave me something to look for. the area has certainly changed where the gully used to be. No dragons were seen today but on a search the treasure was found.
Replaced as found after signing the log.

Council have finally gotten to this bit of the creek. Cache is currently inaccessible due to creek realignment works.
Just catching up on logs from the past couple of months. This was our 2nd time trying to find this super cute hide and thankfully this time we managed to spot the little fella. I love reptiles! TFTC! FP awarded.
Back in this neck of the woods today and thought I'd have another crack at this previous DNF and... Omg! An instant find today! I swear - I'm sure I checked that spot last time! Clearly not well enough A very cute find and happy to turn this into a smiley. It appears I disturbed his lunch though as he was munching on a bug when I found him! Tftc!
2nd time lucky! Found by touch! Had been about to move on
Thanks live the Camo. Lots of dragons out today

Took us some time to find it but geo husband finally put his hand on it, loved to see all those wonderful water dragon it’s cool. Thank you for placing this cache there.
Frustration. A second attempt and there it was. How close we were before and yet how far! TFTC
So close!!! We were hunting around the area for a good half-an-hour when I was ready to give up. I decided to go on the other side and have a good look at where the GPS was pointing to GZ. It was then that I saw something peculiar and when I returned to the spot and looked a little harder I could see it.
Unfortunately trying to get to it proved a little more difficult and just when I was almost there a pleasant and friendly photographer came over taking photos of the water dragons.
I couldn’t finish what I had started, but hopefully upon our return next time I’ll have CIH!

Sent hubby down yesterday for a check and he couldn’t find it. I went today and put my hand straight on it. He is a very sneaky little dragon!
Bit late in logging this.were there on the 30th September and scratched around for a long time. Even with a bit of help no luck.
We’ll try again....
We’ll try again....
This was truly maddening. Read back through past logs and made note that there was no need to cross the fence even though the GPS wanted me to. Searched and searched and scratched around everywhere along the perimeter and surrounds for probably close to an hour. Sadly did not find this little fella today
AFter a DNF in January 2017 and a recent one on 24 May 2020, we returned today with resolve, a nudge from the CO about a place we'd checked once before and a reminder that the CO has left notes a few times about where the cache is not hidden. Mrs Gaztek had a peek in the expected place - nothing. Mr Gaztek had a look and a cursory feel - still nothing. Then Mrs Gaztek had a really good look and the little dragon was there. He had dug himself in pretty good. We feel that he will be found a bit more easily now since we couldn't really cover him up the same way he was before. But he is definitely covered up. A good hide and a clever container. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We were able to get to GZ and upon looking everywhere around the newly installed fence nothing stood out.
There were a few people at the park today so we couldn’t stick around too long.
Will have to try again another day.

Imagine my luck, climbing down into this gully to begin my search when a group of 30 people on a site visit with Hills Council popped by to inspect the area and look into this gully where I was. You're kidding me. I climbed out to avoid suspicion, overheard that there are works nearby but this spot won't be touched I think. Hopefully GZ won't be disturbed during the works. I'll come back another time hahahaha
No need to go into the gully any more as the works have looked imminent for some time now. Stay outside the fence line and you should be fine.
After a DNF in January 2017, we thought we’d come back and search for this elusive creature. Still no luck and we gave it a red hot go. There were quite a few sets of gleaming eyes looking back at us from dark holes but not the ones we were looking for. It will stay on our watch list. Cheers... Gaztek
Unfortunately this one was a DNF today. Had 5 other successes, just not this one. We received a lot of attention while finding it and were hasty to leave after not finding any signs of the container.
He is there still, might need to scratch around a bit to uncover him if it’s been raining.
Did a cache check this morning. All good, he is well camouflaged after the recent rains but still visible if you look hard.
Had a good look around. We saw lots of water dragons but didn't find the cache.
Pretty sure this is still good as I checked last weekend and no finds since.
Second attempt at this case and we finally got it. An enjoyable puzzle that was very entertaining. TFTC
Ok, finally up and running again. I still don’t think Council have finished their work in the area so I have relocated to within a couple of metres of it’s previous location. Will need to be very Muggle aware.
New pathways, lots of clearing, new fencing going up soon. Still not safe to put back.
Council are still very active down here. Areas have been cleared and marked out for bank restablisation works. I suspect we are still looking at a couple of months before it can be replaced.
Hi, yes, I still have the cache sitting waiting to go back in. Council have denuded the creek banks and are actively working in the area. I think they are going to be doing creek reparation and replanting will be happening after that. I would appreciate holding the spot for the moment, but if I replace the cache now I fear it will vanish for good. Will post again in a month to confirm what is happening.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Just disabling this case as a precautionary measure for a while as Council are very active with restoration works in the reserve. Be back online as soon as they are finished.

Meeting a friend nearby at 9am gave me the opportunity to do some early morning caching beforehand. I was specifically targeting higher D/T-rated suburban caches and this one fitted the bill.
This was my third find of the morning and thankfully the coast was clear so I could descend and retrieve unperturbed. The only wildlife I saw was one spider close to GZ. I successfully shooed him away. Nice camo and placement of the cache.
Большое Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

Spiders everywhere, a nice placement, a tough challenge. This took us around 10 minutes. TFTC
Today I headed out to Dural, for the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road, but I was also keen to target some high Favourite point awarded caches to boost our Cache Carnival points tally. Stopped for a few quick “park & grab” Traditionals on the way out, then after the T&T sale & BBQ it was over to Dural & Kenthurst for a few highly Favourited Multis, and then headed home via Baulkham Hills to target a cluster of highly Favourited caches in the Crestwood area, before finishing the day at North Rocks with Australia’s second oldest active geocache. This was the 9th of 20 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
Next was this one, doing some T3 stuff to get to GZ, where the hide was soon uncovered and I had the little fella and CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The camo was full of water, but the log sheet was dry inside it's inner container. TFTC jmaxadventures.

A nice walk in the reserve with the dog. I visited this spot before, but now there were not too many muggles around.
I descended down into the gully and counted 5 waterdragons enjoying the autumn sun. I did not take me long to find the cache in a appropriate camouflage.

Geobiking day around Baulkham Hills. When we arrived we saw one dragon but no cache. We went down and found the real dragon. This cache was a bite scary !! 1+fp. Tftc
Last one for the day with Trodectus. Night has fallen but the time we got to GZ, so we just had to decide what level we wanted to search. T headed for the most likely spot with me supplying the light and soon had CIH and he was a lovely little fellow. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We were out getting a few caches in the area and we headed for this one. It was getting dark but once at GZ we had a bit of an idea as to what was needed. Soon we found the hide and had CIH. I'm giving this a favourite. TFTC.
Cool camo. Gave us some giggles. Giving a fav as just a little different and fun. TFTC
Thankyou to the kind soul who had replaced the log paper. Sadly, it was already damp too. I’ve replaced again but will have to look for a more long term solution.
A curious young muggle interrupted our seemed but seemed happy with the "looking for dragons" explanation.
Nice one jmaxadventures

Parked on the other side of the road and walked across to where we finally had to climb the fence to get down to GZ. The cache was quickly located, but when opened if spew out a gulp of water, and the log was so drenched that it was totally impossible to sign it.
After visiting a couple of months ago to no avail, a rivisit took no more than a minute before I had CIH! Love the container. No pen but will be back to log! TFTC
After success at a nearby cache this looked interesting given the T rating. The reason was soon discovered and real life examples of the cache name spotted. Soon after the camo was spotted and the log signed. TFTC
The GPS took us to one side but after we crossed over we found the critter. Fun hide. Plenty of bearded dragons today. One jumped out from the rocks and nearly got me!
Please note: the log was damp and quite fragile. Could probably do with replacing.

Out for my daily cache and decided to give this park a visit. A few families utilising the playground but once I descended into the valley I was out of view. Tried one side without luck but crossing the swamp paid dividends. I think I've seen the same species at our house

Moved some camo and soon spotted the little pet

Visited this one today on the way back from initial planning for a new series. Once at the correct level it was a quick find.
Found a few of his friends as well sunning themselves on the rocks.
Thanks for the cache

After not finding this 16 months ago when it was missing it was time for a return visit. Initially was on the wrong side of the water, but once I crossed over the cache was fairly quickly found. Took a bit of work to extract the container but got there in the end. Thanks jmaxadventures.
Council have gone quiet again. I think there's more work to be done but I'll risk re-enabling for the moment.
