Found on 6/6/22. SL at 2:10pm. Daytrip out by myself again. Time to tackle these two caches before the tracks in become too boggy. Well they already were in some places. Decided to park near the fenceline to be safe and walk. What lovely views from up here, even in the rain and so peaceful except for the ewes and lambs who didn't like my presence close to them, hehe. A real test of patience, perseverance and problem solving skills for me here today but I got there in the end! Yay! No tree frogs here today.
*Natural TOTT's help here, grab yourself two and off you go, carefully, especially in the wet.
*Log needs replacing ASAP. Very damp, ripped and well just... mush! Managed to sign it though.

After four days in the southeast and Coorong earlier in the week, I returned with FeatherWaite for an extended weekend of caching in the area.
We traveled down the Coorong through Kingston and across to Millicent, then cached around Millicent and attended the events. On the second day we toured around Tantanoola before making our way up to Naracoorte for the evening.
We camped out near Millicent on the first night and at Cockatoo Lake, north of Narracoorte on the second.
On the final day we headed up to Mundulla, Bordertown and Keith, then through Ngarkat to Lameroo before heading for home.
This was a return visit after a DNF here a couple of years ago with gridge98. Once again I drove right up to the top of the hill and then clambered down the hill to GZ. Nice views!
Thanks lowus for the cache.

Found during a camping trip to the Southeast with e.gregory. I came here in 2018 but came away with a DNF, back up the steep hill today and after a short search the cache was found
Last day in the South East for this trip, so did a few caches around the area as I was making my way back home.

This weekend, I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for cave diving. On Friday night, I drove via the Coorong rode via Kingston, Beachport, and Millicent to Glencoe. Saturday was spent cave diving near Tantanoola and Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and then Sunday after a cave dive, I returned to Adelaide via Mount Gambier, and the wine bottle/glass geoart in Kalangadoo. I was expecting a nice weekend of sunny weather, but instead, there was wind and rain for the most part.
Today, I travelled from Mount Gambier to Adelaide, and made a few geocaching stops along the way. By mid afternoon, I had arrived at Kalangadoo, and mentally prepared myself in completing the wine bottle/glass geoart. I had prepared myself for that duration, but was still hoping that it wouldn't take as long as it did. It was then on to driving home via Naracoorte and Keith.
Between this cache and *It's got me Bluffed.* geocache nearby, I was always intrigued at their terrain ratings and had wanted to make the drive up here to find. However, I was dismayed at the various DNFs, and didn't want to waste my effort. So as it turned out, these caches had been here the whole time, and there had been a few newbs visiting to look. I ended up parking in the small circular clearing, and decided to walk the 130 m up to the cache. I had gotten up the first hill when the drizzle started, and as I made my way up to GZ, it started raining heavily . My rain jacket was back in the car, and my shoes were soaked. I had hoped that this cache wouldn't take long to search, and hoped that the small hide would be somewhere logical. As it turned out, it didn't take long to find in fact, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Very sneaky! There isn't a lot of logbook space left. Thanks lowus for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The black bison throw down at this location has been removed.
The throw down is one of our caches which was removed from its spot in Millicent and placed here.
We have no idea why.
We have it back now.
Its logsheet has been stamped by @FelixII @SYLKEN and @witchwayz on dates that fit with their online logs of Rid-Up.
It is unclear if these teams also found the original cache which is still at GZ (but not so easy to find).
@LaighsideLegends who also stamped this log did find the original container as well.

I drove to within about 40m of this one and then it was just a short but steep walk up to GZ. I spotted the cache after a bit of looking around then as I was signing the log, I looked up and found another cache. That's odd, looks like a Brad&Janet one. I took a photo and moved on. Now having since showed the photo to Brad, he identified it has one of his own caches that has been stolen and moved here for some reason. The correct cache here is the one at ground level. Hopefully the next finder here could retrieve the one in the tree and return it to Brad?

Muggle got to it with a slip of the foot here and a slip of the foot there. Then there was the odd cartwheel or two followed by a bit of tumbling. Here I was being a real sook saying I can't do it. Muggle being so kind kept encouraging me that I can do it (I loathe heights at the best of times). Even managed to see the end of a rainbow but no luck today with the pot of gold (maybe it was at the other end). Lovely view (when I did look up to see it). Be careful of the damp track/s especially near the edge/slope. TFTC
With the weekend weather looking very dodgy we decided it was time to head out for another day in the forest before the rain sets in. Great weather and great company for driving around the forests.
Loved the drive in to this one. We managed to drive to within 40mts of GZ. Such a clear day with Great views here! Fave point from us.

Another great day caching with special friends FelixII in the south east. We have enjoyed finding so many caches in the pine forests and many of them have had been pretty exceptional.
Our grateful thanks go to all the CO’s who have published and maintained all these caches for our benefit and enjoyment
We were delighted to be able to drive very close to GZ and what spectacular views we had here
Many thanks for the hide lowus

We were down in the SE for the weekend. Hiding caches and finding caches. Freddo PhoenixFlare and I were keen to find a few caches. This and the one nearby were clearly a challenge as both e.gregory1 and gridge98 had failed on both.
As it turns out we were successful on both.
Although to be fair this one was a bastard of a hide!
We perhaps approached it from the wrong direction on foot and probably by car too but there was always going to be some up and down regardless of which way we came.
Finally we had it and signed the log and put it back., Phew.
Back up the hill and on to the next one.

Noticed a couple of noobs had missed this cache. Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. We needed to make a phone a friend call to the last finder that focused our attention.
Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Having had a difficult weekend, I needed to clear my head
What better way than to get out and find a cache or three
With a peaceful drive on some back roads I worked my way around to GZ and drove far as the VE could go. From there it was a steep walk up to GZ.
I used the hint and looked up higher than I needed to. Noted the DNF's and was considering giving up. One last effort... I scratched about in a thick layer of mulch and uncovered a very well hidden cache YAY!
Alas, time had run out and it was getting dark as I made the descent and that meant the other nearby cache would be left for another time

I headed down to the south-east with gridge98 on a quick, two-day trip to find a few caches.
We had some rather mixed weather, with sunshine, rain, hail and wind at different stages, but most of the time it was good weather for caching.
We also had rather mixed results in terms of caches. There were some interesting hides in some terrific places; some along the beaches, some in the pine forests and others at various scenic or interesting locations. We managed a few lucky FTFs, but also a few disappointing DNFs. But all in all, it was a great trip.
Unfortunately this was one of the disappointments. We spent a lot of time looking, but no luck. I suspect this one may be gone.

Talked a friend into driving me up. I've not been up the Bluff so high. It was an awesome view. We climbed down from the top track. What a hairy drive that was. I imagined myself rolling over and over down the hill and dying. The walk down was hard enough in my ballet flats. It took ages to find the little container and it was only when I went in from a different angle I found it. The walk up was a challenge but lucky geo bf was pushing me up from behind.

It was obvious we had taken the wrong track up to GZ so parked the 4WD with TT016. S-I-L did the trek up the hill. He managed to get the cute container open & sign log. TFTC lowus
Geocaching afternoon with geo nanna (hevwalker).
well geo wife seems to manage just nicely to take us down weird and wonderfully scary tracks.
geo nanna walked ahead to see if the old girl (hilux) would make it to the end of the track
or was it a dead end with no where to turn around??
was all good thankfully.
found another track but wasnt game enough to drive up it so geo hubby walked.
when he got back he said either track would have been equally difficult to get this cache.
He showed the car dwellers a photo of the cute container.

Looked and looked. Must be off game today. Will come back when I don't have to leave the kids in the car.
Found this today, however was unable to get little silver cannister open as water has rusted it shut. Great View
Found while out on our fathers day adventure. Please see note as this cache needs some tlc
TFTC loved the cache we were catching up on caches after a bit of a rest from not doing any .
Armed with torches and head lamps we grabbed this one in the dark. Great little cache with fantastic views, even at night. TFTC D
took 2 goes at getting to GZ , track very greasy from over night rain and the patrol was getting too much side slip for my liking so we approched from the other end of the track . Great cach thanks
What an Adventure!! Took the long winding uphill trail towards the cache (not sure how much paint is left on the sides of my car) but we wimped out on the last 100m... So set off on foot - note to self: crocs are NOT hiking boots - and with burning leg mussels reached the top of the hill. Realised i'd overstepped the mark and headed back down towards GZ. The GPS was spinning like a record, so headed for the likely spot. The light must have been just right, as the cache container was literally glowing!!
Thanks for a great cache Lowus!

There is a great view to be had on the quest for this cache. I missed my intended track and what I saved in climbing at the previous cache I made up for here. Found the frog but he had turned into a water holding frog, bit like those that live in the desert. Log was still nice and dry even though its container was submerged. TFTC

I was hoping to make this my first non-urban drive-by in my new Geomobile, but I chicked out at the 150 metre mark deciding this was not the time or place to test the soft cababilities or lack there off. Hiked up the track the next hunded metres and then made a sharp decent to the cache which was suprising easy for micro in the scrub.
Thanks

FTF for Beaker, Boo and Boomba today. Thought I'd have a go at this one while out searching for some other local caches. Glad I had the 4WD. There are some steep sections around here, and while not impossible without 4WD, having one certainly makes it easier.
