Taurus Six and I have taken an extra day off work for the long weekend so we can meander our way to the Perth Hills where we will spend the three days . Great weather for ducks today not that we are complaining however because there certainly has not been much rain of late and we definitely need it. A leisurely start had us at the Crooked Carrot for brunch before hitting the highway. Our aim was to collect straggler caches in the Peel and Murray areas before switching back to the South West Highway via Lakes Road geocaching along the way . All in all a fantastic day exploring and geocaching and we are not totally wet .Alas there was no cache to be found Worthing 15 metres of gz .
Good sized cache, no TBs in residence though!
Thank you The Dhuie's for placing and maintaining Ravenswood TB Exchange for us and others tofind and enjoy!

The Cockburn Crew were out on the road to cleanup Wellington Dam in Collie. Rendezvous was 6.00am in Pinjarra, to allow us to get cracking on the day’s work early. Thanks to all the COs who placed caches for our enjoyment today. Cheers The Dhuie's!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!

Found while on route to Bunbury. Greetings from SA! This one was in the first place I thought, but not the first place I looked. Tftc
Time to hang around Mandurah for a bit with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
An excellent sized cache for a park.

Was about 10m off but quite obvious when. You put the phone down and look around. Left some goodies for the next kiddies
We wanted one more before heading home and decided this was the one. We have been here twice before but both time someone from the council was parked right near gz, so both times we had to move on. Being a public holiday we felt we should be safe from council workers. Once at gz we spotted the cache straight away, cool size cache for a suburban hide. We made our mark on your log and returned your cache back to where it resides. TFTC The Dhuie’s.
Ok, so today was the day for us! Found with axell33 after a couple of visits previously to this spot that were fraughted with council workers…..doesn’t matter how long you try and wait! Finally….we managed to get near and find the cache today! Thanks for the hide here.
Another little cluster not too far from home base. Collected the one at 17:45 this afternoon. TNLNSL TFTC Dhuie's
Final morning in Pinjarra before going home, out early to get some hides.
A nice variety of hides and caches. Generally quick finds, thanks CO’s for putting out the hides and maintaining.

Forgot to log online. Not many options so a quick find. Signed and returned as found. Tftc
Heading home from a camping / photography weekend down at Herron Point. Took the opportunity to stop off at a few caches on the way, including this little diversion into Ravenswood and South Yunderup Parked up at the end of Twiss Circuit which just left a short walk along to GZ. Not many options once there which meant a nice quick find Good sized container but no TBs in residence at the moment. No problems here today, an easy find. TFTC
Found on the way home from doing the new Adventure Lab in Pinjarra. Great hiding spot. No TBs. Will keep this one in mind for TB drops though. Tftc The Dhuie’s

I dnfed this one five or five years ago when it was missing in action. Returned here today on my way back to Perth from Collie to make a quick find of a sizeable container. Tftc
Glad Burns345 and I did need to enter the reeds. Cache in great condition. Logged and replaced.
GPS Co-ords a little off had us scratching our heads but the clue got us back on track. No trackables to be found
Quick find, had to disturb miss charlottes creation to reach.
sign log and returned.
TB came for a visit.

Thanks for taking us here. Once the gps settled we soon had the target in hand.
Used our internal geo hunting skills to find this one a little away from the coords. Fun fun!
This was not an easy location to find & the coords where out. Took a little while to find. Enjoyed the walk after having lunch at the near by Ravenswood pub.. a good cache all contents were dry. TFTC
Our coords were a bit out be found with the use of the hint.
TFTC The Dhuie's this is find # 5946 for us.

Heading south to Busselton this morning and Patch had this one on our "to do" list. Didn't take too long to grab but for such a large cache it really is nicely hidden from general view. All's good here thanks The Dhuie's.
Found, we got very soggy and wet on a gloomy day but this brightened up our day.
Great placement for a cache. Very good for the environment.
Thanks for the find
Thanks for the find
Found this one easy enough even though our GPS was leading us on a bit of a back and forth. It’s a nice little path way. Left a TB for anyone who’s interested. TFTC.
Went to find it but a slithery snakey friend was on the path so we decided we best not worry about that one for today, so be careful of these reptiles nearby.
Came up from Bunbury to catch the train to Perth, thought I’d find a couple of Geo’s for the trip home...
Well I picked this geo because it was a medium size so easy for my son to find... that’s what I thought! Bit unimpressed tbh!!
We looked everywhere and nothing, most of the other comments said the geo was at least a couple of meters out so we looked about everywhere and still nothing...
the non-smiley sums it up

After a look that was longer than it should've been, (my gps was quite a few metres off) I soon had cache in hand. I dropped a trackable in that i grabbed from WAGB 2017 tftc
#12710. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
This was a pretty area and we had to wait for a fellow to finish walking his little dog down the path and back again before we went exploring. Picked up 3 TB's to move them along. Dropped in one of my pathtags. The 4th pathtag listed needs to be marked as Missing!
Thanks The Dhuie's

Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
A great sized cache for a urban environment!
A nice little stroll along the path too.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thank you! I decided to head down to Pinjarra for lunch and a cache or two. I stopped here on the way as I had a couple of TBs I have had for al little too long. Nice to see a generous size cache here.
Stopped by for a quick grab on the way down to Pinjarra for the night.
With the gps pointing in the middle of a few likely hide spots I found the cache at the second place I looked. Unfortunately the TB logged into the cache was not there. TFTC.

After a quick stroll found it at the only place I thought it could be. Nice to be able to stretch the legs.
My GPS had me in the middle of the footpath 9m from the nearest object. I searched the 2 nearest till I spotted the cache. It's so big I don't know how I didn't see it straight away. Full of great stash for the geo-kids. TFTC.

This was our second full day of caching from our base at Mandurah, a number of the caches we found, belonging to cache series, which seem to be a feature of this part of WA. Others highlighted the history of the locality, all of them taking us to locations we have not previously seen.
Even though the cache page indicates the trackable SchaRo`s Weltreise #02 (TB4M3QC) is in residence, there was no sign of it today.
Thanks The Dhuie's for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Out for a drive to the Ravo for lunch. The flies were terrible and unfortunately there were no TB's but it was a cute walk. TFTC
