I visited the location for this one, in spite of it being disabled, just to complete the walk!
The structure that the cache was concealed under has been removed. I will look at finding another spot.
I had a good look around the jump, but could not find the cache. Might be worth CO checking it out.
Can't find the jump unless it is the thing near the river but there is nothing under it and people have been saying it was easy so I think it's gone in the river. Please archive.
Been a lot of rain, assuming that because it was an easy find for others it's been washed away. That or we're blind.
Nice spot for a cache, quick find TFTC
We're half way through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we have a whole island of caching fun ahead of us!

Plan for the summer. Hike, 4wd and Geocache around Tasmania. It will be a great adventure. Cheers for all the caches along the way. This is my last day of caching this trip. A great way to finish with a walk around the park.
Quickly found and signed the log

A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

Last one in a lovely little series. We took some of the garbage 'swaps' people left behind and put a little scout in each one. Thanks for bringing us here
Was very obvious find. Completely uncovered! Replaced and hidden a bit more. Tftc
After collecting a cache up in town. My friend was waiting for a dr's appt nearby so I took the toddlers for a walk along this track. The GPS bounced around a little but alas the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Monty & Tylo for this and the other caches you have placed here :)

Travelling around Australia, from our home in WA.
Another lovely day with sunshine! Tasmania is certainly throwing out the welcome sunshine this week.
Today we were leaving Deloraine but decided to tackle a few more caches before moving on. We were accompanied by our muggle neighbour who has been planning to join Geocaching but not done so till now. Think she is a convert today after finding 1 of the caches before us!
Lovely little walk through the woodlands. Very slippery though after recent rains. Mr Felix took a tumble in the mud! [B)]

Found on a great walk along the river to collect the wild wood caches. TFTC
Yay! Really enjoying this easy walk along the river thru the trees. 1 more to find in this series and it will be cache number 500 for us too
#1829 - Found by B in the diminishing light. Gettin' spooky. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour. Many thanks to Monty&Tylo for establishing and maintaining this cache.
We found this one during our camper-van holiday in Tasmania.
Thank you for the Cache and greetings from Germany.

TFTC last one in the series for us to find . Great series enjoyed the walk along the river
Had been looking to cache this area for some time but suddenly, yesterday it became a reality. Had made the trip up to Lake Mckenzie (for a GCA cache ) and now in Deloraine for the night. Could't resist making the town a "smilie" place for us. Great trail and love that it is a circuit. Turning point. Had to work around a little until the find.

Finally made it back to Deloraine to finish this series on a scorching hot day. This one took us a few minutes. Very pleasant under the trees. TFTC
After spending the day at Cateract Gorge we decided to come back to Deloraine to explore the riverwalk and caches. Thankfully we didn't spot any snakes amongst this grass. Thanks for the cache.
Another find to the geokid. Beautiful day for a walk and beautiful area. TFTC
What a miserable wet day!!! But no muggles around, so that was a bonus. Nice little walk. TFTC
Nice and easy - but another cache near the water is always welcome !
Thanks for the cache, Monty&Tylo !

Quick find with Flim and Flick and Ginger nut - chestnuts. Log is damp but could write in it.
Today we found some caches that have been published while we have been away.
A nice stroll around the area. TFTC

The only one of the wild wood series found on or explore this time. The recent floods made for difficult traversing and we wondered if some had been washed away. The wild wood series may need maintenance. A 'shoes off' moment was required to cross the still water covered weir, a fun day was had, and we will come back for the rest another time. Found a week ago, but logging now as app has not been working.
This one took a bit of getting out but was in the obvious place and the first spot we searched. Thanks for the cache and the series. Like others we never knew this area existed.
Lovely spot. Vey peaceful now our entourage of cross country boys have left us far behind. In fact this whole area reminds me of a lovely walk in the English woods. All those "strange" deciduous trees & dead leaves on the ground. It must be even more beautiful in the autumn (no wait, it IS autumn).
I was on my way to Sheffield and then the Walls of Jerusalem and collected a few caches on the way. After finding The Smallest Alley I bought some lunch and walked down to near the river to eat it. Then I set off to collect this set of caches which are in a most interesting location. My son's girlfriend is a horse rider and she was very interested to hear about this cross country course. Found at 14:04. TFTC.
Fifth find of the series Sainted at 1250hrs.
Quick find
Loved this little area. Was able to watch small trout playing in the water.

Nice clean easy one. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
This morning we went to the 41 degrees Salmon farm. Great tour and very salmon tasting. We bought some smoked salmon and we had that for lunch with some fresh rolls from the bakery in Deloirane. So Yammie . We felt we had to exercise a bit after this big lunch so we decided to do the Wild Woods trail. Nice series of hides. TFTC Monty&Tylo
Spent a great few hours doing some of the lovely big bunch of new caches here. This is a generic thank you for great entertainment and doug loved the ramble through wild wood. TFTC
Even though this one was more on my level it was still found by mr sharnie's tribe, he's on a roll. Furtherest point out, now we're on our way back with one more to find. TFTC
Great area. They have done a terrific job making it suitable for everyone. Thanks for bringing me here.

Although we have visited Deloraine many times before, we were not aware of Wild Wood. With caches being placed, it was the incentive for us to take a walk through the area. We were surprised as it was a very pleasant walk along the river bank for the start and then on a return track a little further from the river. All along the way was evidence that the area was used for horse jumping. Then we came across a group of people preparing the jumps - there is to be a one day event this Sunday (9 February). A little further on in our walk, we came across another group completing maintenance on some other jumps and placing flags to guide the riders. In discussions with them we learnt that there will be many more preparing the course tomorrow and a rather large event is being held on Sunday. Hence, despite new caches in the area, it may be difficult to get into the area over the weekend. This would be further complicated by some of the hides being at or near jumps with access being required along the walking tracks.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find and it was an ideal height for Mrs y'stassie to retrieve. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. We were lucky as those preparing the coursed for the weekend had yet to arrive at this jump. As there were no other entries in the logbook, we will claim FTF at 10:30. Thanks Monty and Tylo for bringing us to this lovely and peaceful area and thanks for the cache.
