OCW PelDroedGwin Exploring Geraldton for a few days.A lovely walk to a very interesting lookout, we had the place to ourselves today, no muggles ! No sea lions either though unfortunately. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes. We sat and contemplated after a search and then made a quick find. Tftc
Thanks Squash2. A quick find because it is quiet here today. Thanks for bringing me here!
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 82 - Geraldton Day 2. After a very wet night the rain eventually stopped and I headed out to try for breakfast and a few caches. The Network seems to have suffered from the rain and reception is very poor. Both shops I tried to buy breakfast from had no eftpos. Oh well, that means caching. I carefully read each page before heading there and so managed to find the caches I targeted today. A few further rain showers made some of the short walks a bit of a risk, but I managed and even completed another set of Labs. The afternoon was time to catch up on online tasks and dinner will be in the van tonight.I was out here to do a lab point, so I just had to have a look for this cache. It was neatly not in an impossible spot and I was happy to be able to sign the log. I got a bit wet walking back to the car. Thanks for the cache Squash248569.6 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Whittlesea Event 2022 purple ear tag A#501**Albida**
A quick find today while out after shopping. The cache and log are both in good condition. Tftc.
Happy to turn this frown upside down! Thanks for replacing so we could find before leaving WA!
No cache and no seals, but did get to see a big tanker coming in - beautiful spot.
Tried to find this one when I was in Geraldton a few days ago but not luck. Went back for a second look before leaving Geraldton but no luck again. Saw a sea lion though.
I have more DNFs in Geraldton than smilies. GPS was jumping around a bit. Went backwards & forwards over the fence several times. No cache & no seals
9am on a Saturday morning made this a bit challenging but accurate GPS and looking at the logs helped. TFTC
Thanks for placing and maintaining this Squash2. We were able to turn toe DNF that we had back in October to a smiley today. A beautiful day in Geraldton today. TFTC
Beautiful cool morning and Bonus....I saw sea lions on the rocks! Thanks for this cache.
Checked on this one to make sure and everything in place. Caches with a 1.5 rating usually don't attract hints. Have fun.
We found waste and after a long search, but not a chache… No hint, not very helpfull.
Auf unserer Weltreise sind wir hier auch vorbeigekommen und haben die Dose geborgen. DfdC
Spent 20 minutes looking all around but no luck for us today. Some other Geocachers Minimaks rolled up so we left them to it… good luck and let us know if it’s still there Minimaks
Out and about exploring Geraldton this afternoon. Another nice recreational spot. A number of people about, but we managed to extract cache without being noticed. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Out and about again, early morning hunt around the harbour area.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally finds took 10 minutes today.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Found today with Bjossi on this beautiful day. Sadly, no seals in sight today, but a great view nevertheless.

I had to wait a bit because tactic seat was occupied. After that I quick find when no muggles around, tftc!
# 2395 - coming from the east coast visiting the west coast. Enjoyed the general scenery and in particular the wildflowers. On our way to the motorhome rally at Leeman.
Walked the esplanade yesterday and forgot to check for caches. Silly!
Went back this morning and found both. Nice hides. Both in good condition.

Found a cache, but too small for a pencil. Not sure it's the original, but at correct coordinates. TFTC
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
The rain had stopped so we decided to take a walk out here before it started again. It was an easy enough find once at GZ. A great view of the area.
Thanks Squash2 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Love the views here of the ships. Nice place to sit and take in the view. TFTC
We did see two sealions through the binoculars, but no seals. One of the sealions had a big yawn while we were watching, which was cool. I did find this cache, which was also very cool. Love caching in Geraldton.
Quick find thanks. Was just finishing the Adventure Lab and now a cache too! No pen so took a photo of log
Found with a group of students during our pit stop to Coral Bay. Didn’t see any seals!

Visiting Perth from Brisbane to catch up with hubby who is working over here. Today I have returned to Geraldton to finish the ad labs and a few others also along the way.
Unfortunately no seals here today that I could see but after avoiding the other tourists, I was able to locate this cache. SL then returned as found. Beautiful day and scenery.
Found on 6 July 2022. TFTC, Squash2.

Found it. TFTC Squash2. Quick find here today, replaced as found. Great view from here.
Since there were several muggles around, I tried to look in some typical hiding spots before using my phone to zero in on GZ. After signing my name and replacing the cache, a little black dog ran up to me to see what I was doing. I also found an Adventure Lab waypoint while I was here. Great views today, TFTC.
Quick and easy find, and a bonus of some adult make Australian sea lions on the breakwater opposite! Thanks Squash2 for the cache
Out for the day with Wollaston taking advantage of the open border.
Thanks to CO’s for taking time to set out and maintain hides and for showing us your very special part of the world

A few muggles about when I first got to GZ so I focussed on completing the lab cache location first.
When I’d finished that the area had cleared and I was able to search in peace and found the cache a couple of minutes later.
Signed and replaced just as another group of muggles started to arrive.

Day two of a northern adventure with Mr’s Z, T & B and SirFancy.
Today was a day off two halves all around Geraldton.
The morning was spent walking around Point Moore and West End before retreating to the accommodation for lunch and a swim.
The afternoon was our numbers run for the day completing the series along Alexander Drive, grabbing a couple of mysteries and having a run around at the foreshore.
Today I finished with 25 finds, 7 adventure labs and 2 DNF’s.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
A little night caching tonight after dinner. Always adds an extra element. Thanks Squash2. Found signed and replaced ... eventually
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Squash2!
Cheers Squash2!
Easy find at the expected host on GZ. We signed on the replacement logsheet.
Warning saw a seringue with needle on the other side of the host.

Enjoying a long, hot, weekend up in Geraldton Picking up a few caches while here, and even better converting a few previous DNFs into smileys This was one that I stopped off at today. I've never walked out here before so was great to explore somewhere new, and I appreciated the info boards along the way. No one else was out here so made for an easy search once at GZ and a very quick find soon followed No seals spotted though which was a shame! No problems here today - TFTC
Sorry to say we missed this one…. Looked where our gps took us but no luck. Thanks anyway!
