In the area so stopped in here for another crack at this one. I had a fair idea where it was but just couldn't lay my hands on it. Took a couple of pics on the phone and saw where it was. Changed my angle of approach a little and soon had the tricky sucker to hand.
Glad to have this one crossed off the list.
Barnzy12 I found your cache at 5:09pm, this was the 1st of 1 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3192. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Ready to throw in the towel ....yippee really well hidden ...now know what a nano looks like
Enjoying a long walk around the area looking for caches. This was next on our list. As we approached, we thought we could be in for a long search, as the possibilities are endless. Amazing to say though, the little nano was located very promptly by a wandering hand. Great spot and must say we were a bit lucky to locate it so quickly. Had the potential to take a whole lot longer. TFTC
Lovely day for crawling around on your backside whilst shoppers stroll by; only to discover can find it standing up, LOL! TFTC
Out caching in the local area with Lazarus_68. We looked here we looked there we had quite a few odd looks but no one stopped and asked us what we were doing. A couple did say you not going to fire it are you?. Looked here and there then did the circuit again and again. I eventually came up with the goods in a place I had searched before. I had found the original cache placed on the gun many years ago.
It's becoming a bit of an annual expedition of mine to head out on Good Friday to tackle some urban caches in the hope that the muggle activity might be a little reduced.
Spent 15 minutes here this afternoon for no joy. There were more muggles about than I expected.
Barnzy12 I couldn't find your cache, this was my 2nd DNF for the day. I did have 6 finds today so all is not lost.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Pinjarra at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2016' event on the 4th - 5th June. Registrations now open.

Stopped in for a quick look here on the way past. Not really an ideal time to conduct a search at 4:30pm on a weekday, muggles everywhere. Checked a couple of spots but decided to move on.
I'll be back when the locals aren't so active.

Woohoo!! I've been here and past here a few times, and the place was always busy so I wasn't able to mount a proper search. This afternoon it was quite late, and the area was quiet, so I was able to give the whole gun a good once over, and twice, and thrice...
I resorted to reading through the previous logs and found some good info that allowed me to find the cache after a lengthy search, in a spot I had searched at least 3 times previously but hadn't found the cache.
Nicely hidden, thanks for the cache Barnzy12!

Thought we'd be here for ages but with the promise of a frozen Coke for the person to find it, my geokids were all over it. Geodaughter found it within 5 mins. Tftc
A couple of dnf's at lunch time meant a diversion to my commute this afternoon. We've found a number of caches on similar structures before so I knew what to expect. The find was reasonably easily made.

One look at the object at GZ an we knew the only way to tackle this was with a systematic search. Luckily there were not too many muggles around and we managed to make the find TFTC
Took us a good 15mins of poking every single nook and cranny and dodging muggles haha! Very clever Barnzy!
Signed the log ( there are about 8 spaces left, and also few signatures on the back)

After about six tries the little blighter was found. Thanks Barnzy for another great cache. And found without issues from muggles.
Picked the girls up from a volunteer program at the zoo and thought we would tackle one of our arch nemesis caches. Breast cancer guy was set up close by so we went into plan B - girls climb all over while we pretend to be waiting for someone - girls every now and then calling to me, Mum when do you think they will get here! Me replying oh soon I hope. Up, over, across, under, approach from front, approach from behind, this hole, that hole, this screw, that nut....... hmm 35 minutes no find - we will be back RSL Gun we will be back TFTH
The in-laws family get together finished up sooner than expected so the quasi-geo husband gave us the ok to grab some smileys.
This was the third and last one on the list, it was the logical one to try next but the previous run of DNF's led the geo-son to question why we were even bothering. I did wonder myself. Never the less we parked up and started the search. 10 minutes in I decided it was probably gone, I mean the last 5 entries were DNF'S why would we find it. And then....we did!! Very sneaky hide. Had just about given up too. Yay!!

Wandering around South Perth for a short bit of afternoon caching with adam111316. Weather was humid but rather nice.
Discouraged by the other recent logs, we didn't spend long on this one, but still had fun playing with the moving parts of the feature.

Thought i had searched every nook, cranny and orifice but no luck. Even mirror was useless. But TFTC! enjoyed the coffee.
No luck for me here today. Will come back when I know that it is still there for sure... Thank you for the cache anyway Barnzy12.
No luck tonight and too many muggles going by to the shops over the road. We have this similar problem with the guns located in Guildford. Talk about double the trouble
Looked over the gun and felt in a few holes. Quite a few muggles around at 7.30 in the morning.
Cruised up from Bunbury with mikirst to explore this area today. Think we ended up doing about 30 km on our mountain bikes . Defiantly ended up very sunburnt I know that much. But a good variety of caches in this area . We had a great time. So tftc
Found this quite easily whilst dodging the Cancer Council guy who was working in that area!
Probably serves me right for going for this one in the middle of the day, but it took a solid fifteen minute stake out before I had a chance to search. First the lady sitting in her car next to GZ; feet on top on the steering wheel, picking at the skin on them. Then a person fund-raising set up a few metres away, luckily the tree nearby blocked line of sight.
Worth it though, now I can tick this one off the list. TFTH

Finally I can log this as a find, because on previous visits I have not been able to find it in between passersby. I had stuck my hand in various places and looked here and there with no joy. This morning on an early morning bike ride I was able to casually look as Angelo St was reasonably quiet. My bike provided a nice barrier between me and observers, not that anyone was paying me any attention. Thanks for the cache Barnzy12. I am very pleased to finally strike this one off my to-do list.
Now I have to say that I can´t remember anything about how full logbook, sorry... But it wasn´t totally full, that I (propably) would remember
I searched for similar gun in Richmond, there couldn´t find it but I found good hiding places then and here I found the cache from the second spot I checked
Thanks for the cache!

Oh my!!! This was a challenge. I searched for half an hour and then decided to take the PAF option. Even then it was a little difficult. To top it off my 4 year old son ruined the pen I brought and was left with ink over his hands. Thanks for bringing me here Barnzy. I have even less hair now!
Well this is interesting. One nano. 35 spaces on the log. 40 visits logged online. Not a single person saying the log is full...
Cachers not doing the right thing here? Probably yes.
Please sign the log, or ill have to delete your online entry.
Thanks

We had to go to perth today to watch the son absail off woodside plaza to raise money for PMH so after he had finished we decided to go and find some caches.
This one took us a few minutes to find and im glad there wasnt to many muggles around, sneaky hide TFTC Barnzy12

I found an awesome hiding spot to fit an ammo can. That would be easier then finding an nano on the beast
After finding a geocache on a gun recently, which turned out to be quite easy. I began to think about this hide.
Ive come to the conclusion that yes the T rating at 1 is accurate as a person in a wheelchair can locate and replace this cache whilst remaining in their wheelchair. But the D rating at 1.5 was extremely underrated, its not in plain view, it is tucked away in a hole large enough to fit your hand into, but still relatively difficult and could be easily missed.
As such I have re-done the D rating to 3 to reflect the muggle situation both during the day and at night (restaurants) and also that the hide could take someone the best part of the afternoon to find.
Thanks
Best regards
Steve

Second attempt and was super thorough. Paid off after after more than 30 mins looking for the little... Thanks.
Found it with franz. He had to stretch n twist his body to find this little thing!! Woweeeeee!
My third attempt early morning so fewer muggles around. A bit of body contortion needed. Good one
I went over it, under it, top to bottom and gun barrell to towing loop, twice and didnt find it. Trying to look like a history buff but even those obsessed with military memorabilia wouldnt spend as.long as I did while trying to look nonchalant. Hmmm
Opposite my lovely friends business and she never knew!!! what a muggle!!!
lots of hiding spots for this one but after a while of looking i found it!!
enjoyed the spin on the bike through south perth!!!

I tried this one back when WanderingAus had a cache here and had as much luck then. I don't find these types of searches any fun at all.
Thought a late night hunt would avoid the muggles...until the restaurant emptied. Tried but no luck this time.
Out with the Better Half and Mistraluna caching after the event.
Quick find here. All the previous attempts at this cache had been aborted due to muggles.
Thanks Barnzy12 for the cache.

Last find for the day here after spending too much time in the northern suburbs getting a disturbing number of dnf's up there. Cache was found quickly by one of my companions. Thanks Barnzy12
Thanks so much for making my peace loving family pretending to be interested in some old piece of artillery... My wife was brave enough to find it, though. Good fun, tftc!
Finally got back to looking for this one after causing some confusion by placing a nano way back but forgot to list it.
While I was hunting some lovely young girls walked up just as I put my hand on cache
We all signed the log
Thanks Barnzy12 and sorry about the other nano initially

We had a lovely evening BBQ down by the river and these were a couple of unfound ones that were close by. I had to have 2 goes on the cache that was here last time but this time was much easier. I found after a couple of minutes searching.

[:(!] Went for a morning caching run and this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

This morning I decided to go for an early morning bike ride along Angelo Street to pick up some caches which I had missed previously. This was cache number 1. I had been to the gun previously for a cache but missed the opportunity to find the multi version. However, in the first place I looked I found an old mint tin containing a set of coordinates and a key (this must be the multi?) and then in the second place I looked I pulled out the nano. I signed my name on the nano log and assumed that there were no other containers to be found on this gun. TFTC Barnzy12
A quick early morning catch on our way to the Cannington Cannonball Run.
Thanks for the cache Barnzy12.
Thanks for the cache Barnzy12.
After finding the cache at the Library we proceeded to this gz which is only 500 mts from our Sth Perth digs. We too have found all the caches placed on this gun over the past years but tonight we found the two newly placed nanos - each with a different name. We made an executive decision to remove one nano to save future confusion and wrote all names in the nano left in place. We will email CO to confirm placement of remaining nano. Thanks Barnzy12
Found a blank log inside a cache I located in the second place I looked. Have found a few caches on this piece of equipment in the same yet different hiding spot previously. No way of knowing whose nano I've found; same was true for prior finder and will be true for future finders unless one of the nanos is removed. I'm happy for a double or nothing approach to caching so hope they both stay. As I was mounting my bike, a guy from the U.K. stopped to impart some info about the fine piece of gunnery. He served in the forces over there. Although guns hold little interest for me, I was respectful enough to act interested and let the man have a well deserved moment of glory. A hero in any country. Thanks for the cache Barnzy12.
If u look hard enough u will find another nano stuck to this gun- I placed one there a few weeks back but never got around to listing it!!
SIGH! A nano on a massive metallic object....... better go back to the car and extract the kids for an extra two pairs of eyes. Thankfully by the time we'd printed a (free) car park ticket and returned, Mr O had the pesky nano in hand. FTF at 12:05.
