Logs

23-Jun-15
I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can . . . . . . . and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 . . . . . . . . . . I have disabled it for you this time! [^]

Please respond to this situation by 13th May to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. Sad

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Went for caching run around Drouin found 5 and DNF 2

This was the 4th of 7 caches I went looking for.

It took me longer to extract the cache and then the log, than it did to locate it.

'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.

Staying in Neerim today we headed out to do some shopping and explore Drouin. Great weather so warm today, that is until the thunderstorms sent us scurrying home to see how bad the damage was from leaving all the rooftop vents open. [B)]

TFTC and letting us use Geocaching to tour the local area. CoolBig GrinLooking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

Our regular Wednesday geo-caching run has us heading for a day out at Drouin. After buying our lunch from a local bakers and eating it beside the water cascade at the start of the Two Towns Trail it is time to get stuck into our afternoon programme. This one took a few minutes to find and is worthy of being added to our Fav List. Cache all good.
