Nice ride out and back on the Trail , but no luck finding the cache. Not sure re hint But not keen to look above eye height
Ive been putting off doing this one for a while due to the 10k walk (return) but decided to bite the billet and do it today.Initially I contemplated biking it but we had a wind warning and walking in the wind appealed more than cycling in the wind so off I set in foot. Its a super easy trail with minor undulations and so pretty and scenic - at the moment theres gorgeous blossoms near the bridge end of the track. The walk took me 2 hours and twenty minutes in total including drink breaks and of course retrieving and replacing the cache. It was a relatively easy find and the track was pretty quiet (it was 10am when I reached the GZ) so no muggle danger and I could take my time.I really enjoyed the peaceful walk. TFTC
After a wander around town and up to the clock this morning - it was time for an afternoon bike ride. Was very surprised how quiet it was maybe every one is on the rail trail instead?Had plenty of time to locate cache without any spies around.TFTC
Day three of our ride along the cycle trails.Alex to Millers Flat. Our first cache for the day as we head towards our jet boating adventure. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.

Visiting from Auckland, 2 week South Island trip. Staying in Alex, today hired bikes to do this Roxburgh Gorge Trail. Absolutely lovely scenery. Useful hint, easy find here. TFTC
Out for a bike ride today with my long suffering muggle partner , but he does enjoy finding caches along amazing journeys such as this trip out to doctors point. Another reason for coming was that we completed the bottom half of this trail only a couple of weeks ago so it seemed right for us to be riding along here today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache
Nice day for an early bike ride after walking up Flat Top Hill yesterday. Worth keeping your helmet on to retrieve this one.
On bikes to Roxburgh, first for the day as behind schedule and needed to make up some time. TFTC
2612. Yes, a good spot for a stop. We’re doing a return trip on the bikes. A nice quick find here. TFTC!!!
Out with our group of 5 ( should be from Hut Valley on lovely cycle ride Clyde to Roxburgh. Stopped up here and looked along the track as gps on phone settled down then spotted it right above my bike!
Had to move bike to get to the cache, maybe should have stood on the bike as it's a bit high.
Not too many visitors, not like the high point of Dunstan yesterday which was BUSY.

Tftc, enjoyed the whole bike trail. Quick find for us. Good spot for resting from the hills lol
This was one of three caches we located today on our 48km bike ride from Clyde, along the river trail past Alexandra and through the Roxburgh Gorge to Doctors Point. Beautiful autumn colours along the way, though some were past their best. A memorable outing.
The cache was a reasonably quick find. Great views from this point. #3910. TFTC.

We were cycling past, but suddenly noticed there was a cache here, so we stopped and had a good look. So pleased we did - great track and a smiley as well. Cache is all good. TFTC
A great spot for a breather and a nicely hidden cache. The views here are magnificent, we think this is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Tftc
Found this cache today while doing the Roxbrough George trail. This is certainly a ideal place to have a breather. TFTC
This was easily found after a long loop walk to the flattop. We saw so many hidden caves and sneaky hidding places for caches and we wished we could have hidden some. The cache was easily spotted when we got close to the gz. Obvious hidding place for us but a muggler would walk past without knowing so easily. Thanks for the cache!
Another weekend down in omakau with Jessflett. After a morning walk into the blackhill cons area we decided to head up the gorge on a 30 degree day...great day for a walk along a new track to me... surprised how few caches are along here but a nice walk deserves a fav
Another day another bike ride, this time with a new seat on my bike. Started at Clyde and headed down to Alexandra, then continued along the Roxburgh trail to meet up with the jet boat, which was well worth it. I was the last to the top of the rise, then with four sets of eyes looking, the cache was located, log signed off and we were on our way again. tftc
Riding the Roxburgh Gorge Clutha Gold trail with a group of muggles. Great views best bike trip I have done. TFTC.
A great trail, well maintained and fun to do. Disappointed this is the only cache on i! But a lovely place for a breather. Thank you. A fav because i enjoyed the day so much.
On the Roxburgh Gorge Trail and surprised to be doing it with no rain after the forecast. Also surprised at only one cache to be found on this fabulous route. Just two cachers in our group and the rest muggles but keen to participate. Thanks for placing this cache Scottlisatamara.
Yes any excuse...lol to stop and get some oxygen into the brain lol awesome vista love this trail thanks for the cache
What a fabulous bike trail! We cycled out to meet friends who were riding in from the other side and getting the jet boat. This spot certainly was a good excuse to take a breather. Thanks for the placement
rustynz tells me I need to catch up with all my logging
This was when we were in the South Island, doing the Roxburgh Gorge Trail & Clutha Gold cycle trail.
Sorry for the generic logs. But thank you to all the CO for the hides and the maintenance on all your caches.

With rebel98 and muggles cycling the Roxburgh trail
We are on our way to meet up with a jet boat, that will drop us off at the next part of the cycle trail. Luckily rebel is taller than me, and we soon had the cache. Thanks for the hide, beautiful location.

Enjoying this very scenic cycle trail and finding this cache along the way was an extra bonus. Was worried I might not be able to reach it, but Mr E was able to. This one deserves a favourite, thanks!
Found on the way back from a great bike ride to doctor's point on the Roxborough Gorge trail. Fantastic scenery.
While I was opening up the cache, I heard a strange noise from the other side of the gorge. I followed the sound and saw a tribe of wild goats on the opposite bank! Quite a treat TFTC!
Tufty and I were in need of a breather (any excuse will will do, but more so if a geocache is involved ) as we rode down the trail towards Doctors Point on this very fine morning. Quickly spotted the hide and we were soon on our way completely refreshed. TFTC
BaldEd and I were off on a mission to complete the Roxburgh Gorge Trail. What an amazing bike ride this is.
Cheers for the cache.

Great ride with amazing views high above the gorge. Good excuse for a stop and breather at the top . Tftc
Was a lovely day for a walk, such beautiful scenery. unfortunately my feet didn't enjoy the walk ,I ended up with two BIG blisters and one less toe nail :/ I will make sure to wear better footwear next time. Tftc
Had an early bike ride along this new trail to the end and back. A bit of a grunt up to the last section to GZ but a good opportunity for a breather and to sign the log. TFTC
Staying at Clyde for a few days and this new trail was one of the must-dos. The views are amazing. Glad the cache is on the safe side of the track!
Had a fantastic day biking from Alex to Doctor's Point. What an awesome trail! Nice and easy find. TFTC =)
We have enjoyed riding this trail for the last couple of years, watching it slowly grow. Will keep an eye on the cache whenever we go, by as it could well get washed out once we get some heavy rain.
We had a great view of some people water skiing down on the river.
Cheers and thanks,
