Is the owner going to do anything about this cache? It's pretty clearly missing...

not replacing again

Have been saving this for a dot day, but it is clearly not to be relied upon. Needs an owner check please so cachers know whether it is viable or not. Thanks.

Finding the cache was not was easy as I feared, so this time I left in despair


Arriving at GZ just on dust with agcnz, the GPS took us to a spot that made sense and after a good search we decided it was time to give it up empty handed as we searched all the likely spots very thoroughly and still came up empty handed

Might be a bit easier in the light of day but with two very powerful torches and our GPS pin-pointing us to the most likely spot I think that the cache might be missing, also noted that a previous finder couldn't find it too.

Will see if I can get a chance to get back here next time I am in the area, may pay for the CO to check this area to confirm if the cache is still there.

We searched for a considerable time, in multiple possible hiding places, but without success.

Found thanks to my little sister who was small enough to get it. Haven't tucked it so hard when I put back because I couldn't have got it on my own. Great cache!

A trip to Palmy to catch up with a couple of friends, and a chance to do some caching along the way. Lots of possible hidey holes, and I couldn't find what I was looking for in any of them .TFTC

Cool walk found another.

We were pretty tyre'd after doing a run on the gorge track, but still managed enough energy for a nice stroll along this track.
No problem with the find.

Second place I looked and first place I looked seriously so that was nice.

Out and about today, caching with tmann421. We did a circuit from Palmy. It was great to find a variety of hides in the Manawatu (even a few under braces!)

Out caching from Kitchener to Kowhai parks with Atoms7 and Tans1980 and a baby each. Parts of this track are not very buggy friendly - although it's flat the stones are quite deep in places. The cache was quickly found though.

Took a while as we didn't read the hint at first and thought the name was where they would be, eventually worked it out pretty quickly after reading the hint.

Quite a quick find and I was glad and the mozzies were heat seeking missiles around my feet. TFTC It was funny to think we found our very first cache near here a year ago and it was sooo difficult. A year on and we have 300 - I would never have predicted we'd get that keen (obsessed). TFTC

I saw some tyre's and thought 'that's where the cache will be' but looked at the gps and it was saying 'no, no you gotta come over this way'. I thought the gps would know better so decided to follow it and I was glad I did as it directed me straight to the prize.

Found this one after going for a walk with the CO, my daughter, hubby and the dog. Nice to see this one was covered after its last find after reading some of the logs. Placed back and covered up before walking back to the car TFTC

This caused me some problems. Firstly the cache was not put back in its hidey but five metres south in foliage, then I dropped my car keys in the tyres, and yes, not the top tyre naturally, but the very bottom one requiring 30 er more tyres to be moved making me late to the MGC event.[:o] Great to see people doing laps on the circuit and a great cache. A very quick find on a very pleasant day in the sun. TFTC

[green] Stopped off here yesterday to claim this cache, but I didn't have a pen, and there was no writing stick in the cache. So I stopped by today on the way to another along the path to sign the log and drop in a geocoin.

If the Etherlord Clan name is in the logbook, then that's good enough for me to claim a smiley. Even better that it was one of the Clan that actually found it! Good girl
I'll come and actually sight the cache in due course, but in the mean time I'm happy to tick off another dot-day.

[green] Decided it is time to work on the Marisa/Kaleb/SetuCurst power trail, so I am out here with the Etherkids in tow (Etherlord and Lady are both at work). Yep, I am in a car for a change. Luxury!. I got here and was helping young Master 2 up the bank when Little Miss 3 sings out "I found it!". Wow! I think that is a first for her, her first completely independent find! She had the hint, but I had not told here where to look or anything. Most impressed. Now off to find a playground.
Told Etherlord that this is one the Etherlord Clan should log.

Took a while to work out why the title of this cache. Found a tyre poking through the weeds and realised that the weeds were doing some pretty good camouflage.

Another dot day signed off, will be back tomorrow. On the bike. Hopefully not so windy this time.

Waited patiently all afternoon with the found it log blank on the internet and awaiting that elusive FTF for 2014.
Walked with purpose towards GZ with dreams of a blank log, but hopes were dashed when I spied another's name in the pristine book, well done Loopysue!
