Due to family and work commitments it is proving impossible to get over and check on this one. Plus, whenever I have checked on it in the past it has always been moved away from where I originally put it. I am not sure why and don't want to upset the nearby property owners if it is them that are moving it so I will archive this one.
Thanks to all those that made the effort to find this cache.

Seems this one has gone walkabout. I will disable it until I am next in the area.
Thought we looked everywhere, but nope, couldn't find. Recently been mowed. Busy intersection. Will have to try again another time we are out this way.
A nice easy find once the traffic had moved on. Just looking at the latest logs and it appears that I may have been the last person to find this cache, I do hope it hasnt gone,,Good luck with that.Cheers Bo
Quite visible so have hidden it a bit better! Busy intersection at this time of the evening! TFTC
Awww couldn't find this neither could cdw2003nz so we'll have to come back another day to try again.
We have been here before, but it was a nice day to be in the Countryside,at this very busy corner..
But coming down the Road we had to stop and escort Mumma Duck and her 6 Ducklings across the road.Phew just as well we did as we could see a Tanker was thundering towards them in the distance..

Driveby on they way to mt hutt for work cant just drive past without stopping. Cheees for the cache
Dropped off TB. Also found the archived cache which was here before mine. Seems some of the latest people to log a find have actually found this one instead of mine. I won't delete any logs as it is a genuine mistake and I have now removed the old cache.
Was doing Bald Eds 172° Challenge and I didn't have one for 09 minutes and looked to see what was around. Saw this and thought Im sure Ive done it. Took MacPacSon for a drive and arrived and said its there.... sure enough. Still had the swag I put in on 17 Mar 2012. MacPacSon signed today but to keep the stats right Im logging when I first did it.
Crazy intersection of roads at this one, but a nice easy find once my GPS started working. Nice view to the snow covered Alps.

Cold, frosty, early morning start to yet another caching trip. Quickly found tftc. I do remember another cache being here before. Tftc
Hard for me but not hard for my 3 year old brother as he found it within 3 minutes really exciting for him .
Heading back towards West Melton on a slight detour after the event at Darfield. Picked up a few caches on the way and this is one of them. Remember doing a previous cache at this corner a couple of years back. Always did make an interesting place to stop - now which road rule applies! Stop - then right hand rule - then go like the clappers. Found safe and well by RuruNZ, signed sealed and delivered back to its resting place. Onto the next and then ? maybe home.
A slight detour from Darfield back to West Melton (where I'd left my car between KidsFest Events) with kiwicampnut.
Nearly didn't get the smilie on this one as I've a smilie on a cache that was here and assumed t was the same one. But ... this was in a different place, and on closer inspection was only published this year, so I quickly signed the log before the cache was replaced.
Thanks
PS Most recent cache was http://coord.info/GC1JXKV - Where to from 'ere? There are 9 roads the meet here - counting the main road through here as two and a paper or closed road that yo can see when you look carefully to the south.

Having found the two previous caches here we thought that we had better call in for the current cache.
+ a marble, - nothing.

This morning I needed to go out to Darfield to have the tyre on my motorcycle repaired. I promised I'd take TEF Jnr MkI with me - not only so he could see the motorcycles but so that Mrs TEF and TEF Jnr MKII could get some rest.
We haven't cached in a few weeks, and with a newborn in the house it has been making getting out fall further and further own the list. Today though, we dusted off the GPS, set up a new PQ for Jnr MKI and got out there.
This cache didn't take us long to find, it was out in the open. It was about 5m from where I was getting a GZ indicated, but before I could bend down to look in the obvious spot the little fella was already wandering over to grab it.
He made a swap here, and we left a Tb - Percy the Penguin. Signed the logbook on 30 April 2014 at 09:44:00

Found it. Although easily found, a few decisions needed to be made about the most likely of many spots to start, especially with a 'jumpy' Garmin. Thanks for the hide.
Everything was wet after the bit of rain we just had so thankfully it was a nice quick find.

Remembered that we already found one here at this 'intersection', good to come back for another find. TFTC
I remember finding another cache here by the Rock and I didn't realise it had gone. So thanks for putting another cache here .

I was the last to find the last cache that was here, hopefully I'm not the last to find this one. TFTC
Last cache for the day on the way back from a wander through the Rakaia Gorge. TFTC.
TFTC - nice location, but very dangerous intersection (one of Canty top 20) - take care....

Cats & Dragons was in town, so we decided to go do some caching... crazy numbers! However, I was also very very close to my number 4000!! So the aim was - meet up after work, get the 20 caches I need to get to the milestone, and then we go find a cool one for number 4000!! Woo Hooo!!!
Hmmm... we don't know.
I was at this GZ once before at like 6 in the morning looking for the previous cache here with no luck. It had already gone missing.
So started the serch today in where the cache had been before - then got asked what the hin t was - whoops, should have checked that before!! It was not where I was looking! but I did actually spot it from over where I was searhing...

While in Christchurch I always try and catch up for a spot of evening caching with Sonia26642, as its great to cache with friends.
Tonight our specific goal was to collect sufficient caches so that Sonia could claim her 4000th cache on a particular Wherigo, so mission start.
managed to locate this one without undue hassle

Hard to see the kink in Telegraph road any more. A quick find on a trip through to Darfield. Thank you.
Out and about on an afternoons family drive and adventure. Quick find and sign. Been here before signing Kiwi_Moose's previous cache ....
Cheers.
Cheers.
We were so cheeky here. Such a busy intersection, I drove up to the sign off the road. I can do a good tourist impersonation when required It took more of an effort to find a way off the mound. Mr Bairdy is a born and bred Ashburtonian, while I'm from further south...yet when I remarked on where the cache would be, he didn't have a clue the spot existed. TFTC.
A conveniant cache I must day, drove right past it on a dot day to get the STF. Hopefully a safer spot than where my cache used to be, somewhere under those rocks. Cheers
You may wonder why indeed. There have been two other caches here in the past, including one of mine, that have since been archived. Excellent to see another one here
Found at 5:00 pm
5:40pm. Wellllllll, I was at work (in Hornby) and I saw this email just before 4. I was due to finish at 5, but was ahead on my work so figured by 4:30 I had done 9 hours so I'll head off.
My foreman caught me on the way out the door and wanted to know where I was going so early "done my 9 hours, Im outa here, places to be...' and I was gone.
Kept checking the logs as I headed out to Rolleston (I live there so took normal route home incase was cache was found before I got to far).
So far so good.
Checks fuel gauge DOH!!! "ah the lights not on, I'll be right!!" So I turned onto Wards road. So I put my foot put, as my foot went down, so did the fuel gauge. Needle was on the bottom side of the lower white line now! "as long as I make it there, Im sweet, I'll get the mrs to bring out some fuel"
So, arrived at The crossing, no one round. After a couple of minutes cache was in hand. A deep breath was taken (as I hadnt got a proper FTF yet, and had someone signed the book but not logged online). Opened the book, BLANK!!
SCHAWEEEET!!!!!
Book signed, cache put back, and I was on the road home. Will I make it!
Got back to Rolly, fueled up, log edited with details and Number 2 still hasnt crossed the line.
Was just to easy.
Thanks for the cache.

Bit delayed in logging (ONLY 2.5 years to the day) but got this on the way out to a Kea Scout Camp after stopping to see where the quake epicenter was. Had to come back to find out when I had missed logging it though. This time It is getting logged before I start the car!
