The fence at GZ has been converted into a gate. There is no sign of the cache at GZ and has most likely been removed / destroyed when the fence was cut to create the gate.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
There seem to be a lot of poorly maintained caches in Hamilton. This one needs archiving.
Where gz is this part of fence has become a gate !
Don't feel comfortable loitering here....

My wife had some business in Hamilton .... now so do I Cache was found quickly thanks to accurate coords and a good hint however, less film canister - more salt shaker? Cheers psychrn, TFTC.
Nice east find coordinates a little off definitely easier for a little person to see
Haha I was looking at the wrong fence and then Miss 9 yelled "found it!" What a cool little park. Thanks for the find
Yes co-ordinates were a bit out but true to form the "obvious" fence is the winner! TFTC!
Coordinates had me looking at the wrong fence. Stood and thought about it and it was right where I would have put it. Great park and my 4 legged team leader loved having a run even though it was raining.
Pick this one up with EyespyBen.Lid has holes in but EyespyBen replace the Log book also put it in a plactic Bag
I doubt the cache is in the right place so that needs checking as well as the lid which has holes so not sure the log will remain dry in the long run.
In Hamilton for a few hours with daughter while GAR worked at the local store and collecting a totally random set of caches today on our way towards find 1000. This one was close by a few other finds so came to look for it. GPSr had us all over the place, hint didn't leave too many places but we didn't see it until daughter looked down at the ground and recognised the cache for what it was. As it was out in the open again, we replaced it at the nearest spot that made sense.
Our 50th find - Found but not actually sure where it belongs as we found it opened and spilled on the grass. I know it was windy this weekend but this cache had been muggled!! In need of maintenance as not sure where to put it back? Tucked it at the end, hope you can find alright to maintain
Over to Hamilton this afternoon for a few caches with the VERY pregnant daughter-in-law before she has other things on her mind!! A pleasant afternoon for it, TFTC
Back in my home town for a week and decided to have a hunt around for some caches with my girls..nice easy find here..tftc
Oh boy, I was taking my friend around to show her the joys of geocaching and this was the final in a string of caches in very sad and filthy locations. The GZ was next to a lot of trash and some dead birds. It was pretty depressing stuff. Plus I was really worried about having to stick my hand anywhere near anything in that corner.
If you're looking for the cache it's not at GL so no need to put your hands in jagged tin fences or to touch any trash.
CO tftc but perhaps you could make it a nano and put it in one of the lovely trees in the park? I saw a few good cache spots when I was leaving.

The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 caches by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promise as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come two days to the end of 2015 and we realised we were much closer than we realised, so set off to Hamilton for some binge caching to reach that milestone! Today was a day with a lot of more DNFs than expected and less numbers than we wanted, but regardless, it still brought us that little bit closer to our goal.
Tried to grab this one as quietly as possible, as it seemed the neighbours were cooking a feast in their backyard. No problems otherwise. Thanks for the hide!

Still no lid, cache soaked and coords off.
Please love it or kill it as it's no fun finding this sort of cache...
Most disappointing one of the day.

Nice easy find. Log is wet and mouldy though so could do with a bit of a refresh
I found this with no lid as well and log very wet and had to evict three snails from inside.
Signed log but couldn't supply any paper.
Very wet and soggy underfoot from recent rain.

GPS coordinates seemed a little out but a quick squiz produced only one likely hiding spot. No lid and log very wet. Tftc
Found, quick grab while on the way home Tryna hide from the wind with Gonna Cache Em All and my son.

once gps settle I made a quick find, full of water because of no lid but log was still good, tftc
629 No top on container. Log in bag next to log. Still dry and in good condition
Like previous finder had all but given up then found as I was about to go./ Thanks psychm. Late log.
Found caching with alpenmilch80 on day #3 of a 3 day road trip to the Taranaki.
Whoops, I think I overshot. But alpenmilch80 quickly spotted it.
Thanks!

My second day on a cache run to Taranaki together with Slieschke. Today the goal was to explore the Forgotten World Highway and to make our way back to Auckland. We decided to take a longer break in Hamilton to help celebrating its 150th birthday with fireworks and a Time Warp. Quick find. TFTC
In Hamilton for a work meeting today with a bit of time before and after to find a few caches. My GPS had me about 13m away along the fence where it looks like there may have been a bit of over-vigorous searching in the past. Expanded my looking and spotted an item of interest and there was the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Found it - Just around the corner from home - Our second cache find!!! One a roll. Ably helped by Sammie (5 years old).
Nice quick find on the lovely but chilly day in Hamilton doing my first Wherigo and collecting a few more caches. TFTC
nice find with the kids. managed to make the grab while the local mini muggles weren't looking
Quick find while out doing errands with Mr 2 aka sleeping beauty. Very quiet around gz at this time of the day compared to our last attempt during a weekend.
11.30am - Thanks for the pen that had been dropped by previous cacher. Co ords all good. SLTFTC
Do I feel like caching today??? After yesterday's expedition in the rain... Heck yes!!! Gap (of Fap and Gap) was keen, and we hit the trail...
Gap located this one and we had it sorted quite quickly. TFTC.
