Today was another nice day for our holiday trip in new zealand were we of course also found some caches along the way.
Today we took a trip from round kerikeri.

Heading home (Auckland) after a couple of days surfing at Taupo Bay & Ahipara. Met Service suggested there may be some swell still getting in at Wainui Bay. We decided to take this fabulous little detour hoping to score a few more rides. Unfortunately we found the sea flat but the scenery was fantastic. Have only been along this road a handful of times but we are always amazed how stunning this part of Northland is. Took us a few minutes circling the hint location before uncovering the hide. TFTC

Found this cache in a trip to Northland with family during the school holidays. Was a great 2 weeks enjoying the locations & the geocaches of Northland. Greetings from Nelson. didn't find it anywhere even when I had a pretty good look.
#2177 The weather was a bit iffy this morning but I still wanted to pop out and stretch my legs and collect a few caches. This was my first stop and it was stunning here. Cache easily found and then I wandered down the beach to the next cache. Thanks for bringing me here, I haven't stopped here despite growing up in Northland. TFTC!

Stopped here for a picnic on a gorgeous day. Sun shining and a kingfish was chasing bait in the shallows. Magic! TFTC!
We are spoiled up here in the north with so many beautiful beaches. Enjoyed a cuppa and picnic lunch at this lovely place. Kids had fun on the rope swing while we grabbed the cache. Saw an interesting giant fish floating in the tide at the beach below. TFTC
Stunning scenery quick find. Thoughly enjoyed my cuppa here. Tempted to have a swim. TFTC
There were a few families having picnics etc - I didn't want to seem too obvious - but then realised there was a virgin cache further along the beach.

Easy find, taken a while to log this but completely forgot - it was a lovely spot to enjoy some lunch and fresh muffins Kayaked from here many times. I like the improvements to the access and reserve.
Beautiful spot at Piapia Bay,we are really enjoying our drive along this scenic coastline, with Yeetrees along for company, TFTC.
