This is a special find for me. First time ever that I found a cache which was already logged by my buddy Henningman back in 2017 . It's really weird to be at this place 7 years later than him without knowing it beforehand.TFTC
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. G-2, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
Came hoping to do the hike to cathedral cove, hopefully we will be back again someday. Beautiful view and quick find. TFTH!
Having arrived in Whitianga yesterday, we made our way to Cathedral Cove. Well Not really, as the walkway is closed at the moment. Nevertheless we took the time to visit interesting places, Hidden Parks and heritaged trees. Two here in Hahei. We are enjoying looking around New Zealand, full of wonderful places, landscapes and attractions. And so its always good to come across some caches when visiting new places.Thank you to all Cache owners for the caches and their maintenance and making this a wonderful around the world hobby.Thank you for this cache and greetings from Germanyaussi96
Found within my famous travel around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M
We went to the Tutaritari Tree of Distinction cache first, then got here by climbing up the LONGGGGG set of stairs.
**Log about this cache:**Some nice native birds been spot at thise envoriment.Good to find**General log:**After years of planning and the canceling of trip due to the corona crisis, the time had finally come:****"more than 5 weeks in New Zealand".**And how beautiful it was!Visited both the north and south islands, many tourist attractions have a cache nearby so I could do some as well.Lots of virtuals and earth caches too and traditionals. But also done a few multi caches here and there also even a mystery and wherigo cache. The trip to New Zealand was great and we saw a lot of nice places. The country has so many different types of landscapes. And the nice thing was that it is winter in the Netherlands but summer in New Zealand Too bad it takes so long to fly and that the flight is so expensive otherwise i can go here next year again. Now you can enjoy it, logging the caches is also part of it. I will try to email the answers for the earthcaches and virtual caches to the relevant co`s as soon as possible. But first log all caches and upload the photos .Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching

### Around the world in 85 days - Step 8 - New Zealand ###My wife GM70 and I are traveling around the world enjoying beautiful places in many countries. It is a real pity that Cathedreal Cove is currently not accessible by foot. We really would have liked to do the hike. Nevertheless, from the hiding place of this cache we hade a marvelous view over Hahei beach. The cache container is hidden exactly where the hint indicates and the log book was dry. TFTCAll the best from AustriaBaumi_Bon the road with my wife GM70

This one was certainly not mint container (but cute nonetheless). Had to come and get this one to finish off the Hahei caches! TFTC
We were here exploring yesterday but hadn't downloaded the details we needed for this one. The benefits of an off season visit in the rain - quick parking nearby. Our pencils didn't work well on the waterproof paper but we attempted a scrawl. Left a small unicorn pencil too. TFTC
Parked in carpark and walked to GZ, cache was soon in hand, log signed and placed back as found with now muggles around. Cheers
Nice enough day yesterday to head to Hot water beach. Then headed to Hahei for lunch and to get a few caches with Xsaveya and Warcache.

Visiting Whitianga for a few days as it’s school holidays. Spent the afternoon at Cathedral Cove. Much has changed since we were last here. A massive car park has been built but nobody seems able to use it. The uneven earthen track is now a smooth tarmac path all the way to the Cove. Fortunately the sun came out and a quick swim cooled us down. On the walk back to Hahei found this cache. Great view. Thanks for the smiley.
I parked up the snail shell in Cooks Beach a couple of days ago and for today the plan was to travel to Hahei and Hot Water Beach.
Parked up at the end of the road and walked back to the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Coromandel day exploration with evilC. Last one for the day before leaving the area. TFTC!!
I was flummoxed by the confuddlement that was this cache it had been searching the scrapes of the sky, the pointy tips of the heavens, the burrows of the earth, and every nook and cranny in the underworld. But you can’t have rainbows without a little rain so the stubborn little brighter was held up above are heads in victory before the day was done. This was a near impossible cache as it hiding spot puzzles even the greatest archeologists the secret spot somewhere over the rainbow is.................. under a rock
While most of the geocaching community was out seeking science lab glory I was in hahei for a mop up mission I had got 4/4 and was hoping for a nice easy find to hit 5/5 and not get a blue dnf to ruin the picture imagery of my phone gps geocaching map just posted this note to keep other people informed on my geocaching adventures and plans.
In a small yellow plastic Kinder surprise container. Easy to find. Placed coin there
We have just been to Cathederal Cove and the lookout. Snagged and tagged this one on our return walk to Hahei. Cheers
Day 8 - Christmas Day - Friday 25 December - Whitianga - Its the 'There N Back' series on the radar for today, Hahei and with a few stragglers around Whitianga still to scoop up.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geocaching escape over Xmas, this time to the mighty Coromandel, then over to Opotiki and stop off at Rotorua to return home on 5 January. Had an fabulous time exploring many wonders of our country. Rounding up over 400 caches along the way, with a few LABS, 20 odd TMGTs, virtuals and lots of interesting earth caches to keep the mind busy. Watching the sun come up on New Years Day at Mt Maunganui was spectacular. Lots of walking and even more driving. But had an awesome time. Thanks to all COs who made this adventure so special.

Nice easy find
Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - one of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs (60 caches), 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk a lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging!

Enjoying our walk back from Cathedral Cove & found this.A clever hiding place nearly out of reach!
We walked up the hill from Hahei beach via the Tutaritari Tree cache. As we approached gz it started to rain, so we were glad to put our hands on this cache in the first place we searched. Unfortunately the views weren't the greatest today with the rain, but can imagine on a good day the view would be stunning.
We enjoyed this view to Hahei on our way back from cathedral cove.

After a very good night in the camper I was looking forward to the famous Cathedrale Cove! I love the movie and started the trip in the morning. The walk to the cove and up was fantastic and I loved the scenery down there a lot! What a beautiful place to be - really wonderful. I did some caches on the way up and down. I found this one after I got out of the bus. Thanks to all the owners!

Indeed a brilliant viewpoint. Managed to get here before the crowds and the heat of the day.
Auf meiner Reise mit ''Rotel Tours'', kam ich auch an diesem Cache vorbei. Die Aussicht ist wirklich großartig.

This was the first hunt of the day, just after rain "stopped", but I was decided and had to go. Despite de weather, the view was very beautiful, after finding the cache and signing the logbook, it was time to go the next cache nearby.
That was my 2° G-2 Cache, and I knew that there was another one waiting for me...
