There was 2 pairs of eyes and still no luck on finding this cache. Having. Looked at previous comments there's a strong possibility that this cache is no longer here. FYI It's not private residential property. We were searching in the Telstra Exchange (hence the title of the cache).
I searched for a while before I realized the DNF before me,
is it still there?
is it still there?
Many have commented on it, can CO please confirm in the description that approval has been given for the cache been located on private property...
Today, the objective was to have a little go at clearing out the Prahran/St Kilda area. Its been a while since I have been in this area, and since then, there are now about 50 unfound caches between St Kilda and LaTrobe Street, so I clealry had a lot of work on my plate. Only managed six finds today, but they were good hides, and its always good to get driving hours up .
This was the only DNF of today.
What can I say? A highly unpleasant spot to search, both due to the private property aspect as well as the annoying ivy that we were directed to search in.
If this is on private property without permission, then it should almost certainly be archived. Wouldn't mind being told if this was the case in the description.....

I couldn't actually tell if this were private property or not, regardless, I searched for a good 20 minutes through ivy & in broad daylight, but couldn't locate anything.
Based on other comments not going on private property if its not mentioned that its allowed in the details
Find #1628. Found @ 22:15 with AmethystPig.
Once again, I found it a very dodgy area for a cache. Just as piggie made the find in a location I was sure I'd already checked, a noisy group of youths walked past, so we had to go dark and silent. I cautiously emerged to see if they'd passed (I think they went in to the place across the way) and a delivery truck stopped across the driveway and talked loudly about where they were supposed to be.
The bejewelled swine took the moment of calm to replace the cache and we skedaddled. Then, just as we left, two cars drove in.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache auswill.

Found at 2215 on a night caching run-around with SirJ-Oz. Once again we were targetting clusters of caches that he hadn't found, which meant a spin out to St. Kilda on this occasion - anywhere closer to home would've made for a very one-sided evening.
I've done some uncomfortable caches before - a sculpture on the front of a "gentleman's club" springs to mind - and this one slipped into that category. It felt a lot like trespassing, which is odd because I've been 'behind the fence' many times previously - I guess the suburban setting made it feel more like private property than I'm used to, would be nice to see a 'placed with permission' just to ease the mind.
Still, a quick rummage around had the cache in hand. I can see how this one might take a while, it would be easy to overlook - I searched over the top of it a couple of times before it was spotted. There was a momentary pause before signing the log while a group of wandering Muggles slowly meandered their way past, and another before replacing the cache when a truck seemed to stop right beside us, so once the container was safely stowed away we high-tailed it out of there - nicely timed, as a couple of cars pulled in to the driveway just as we hit the footpath.

I'm going to put found because I found things that were in the cache but I couldn't find the cache itself, if the owner could check that its still there it would be great

Not my style. This appears to be a 'needle in a haystack' search. And it seems to be on private property.
Nice quick find! Only got a little bit dirty! Left a swap, found with Sheyolivia and Beecho! TFTC
A quick find once you commit to the search. We don't come to this area much, if at all, so it was good to see some new sights. Thanks for the hide.
With only a couple of likely hiding spots, not the spikey one! we soon came up with the find, thanks auswill for the cache.
Suscoe's 11th find of the day as we were wandering the streets around here.
This one had us unsure if it was still here but after a short search the sneaky hide was located.
The worker went to work and that provided a little more privacy out the front.
Thanks to auswill for an interesting cache, we do hate this camo stuff, some bad memories came flooding back of a spot in Mt Gambier.
Well at least this one is now crossed off the list.

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier
I visited this area lots of times and every time I only searched for a few caches, always having the challenge in mind.
When I arrived here, I just thought 'really? In there?' but I gave it a try and found it within seconds.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

Was in the area mid afternoon so thought I'd drop by and see whether I could find this one. Unfortunately there is no container to be seen.

Attempted this one in the dark after meeting a friend nearby. I felt very uncomfortable a) accessing private property, b) stepping on the foliage to find this one and c) shining my torch around back towards the street. I am not entirely sure this one meets the guidelines and I may return but definitely not in the dark.
[blue]What better way to celebrate 28 years together than to go Geocaching.
We spent the afternoon hunting for a few different types of caches, this one was on the way through to the beach.[/blue]
[green]We found the cache after I got down and dirty.[/green]
[red]No Geocoin here.[I] Suggest the CO marks it as missing.[/I][/red]
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
All good here, thanks for the cache auswill.

DNF @ 23:35.
I was on my way home from some caching in the St.Kilda area and saw that I could make this be on the way.
I managed to park near-ish and make my way to GZ. I felt really uncomfortable searching for this as I figured my torch light would be obvious from a distance. I tried to shroud my light and made as little noise as possible so as not to attract attention and comprise the hide.
After I'd been searching for a while with no luck, a neighbour (and friend) came up the road with a shopping trolley. At least with them pushing the trolley I could hear them coming a mile away. When they stopped to talk outside next door, I just had to go dark and silent until they moved on.
I decided to escape after that. I'm pretty sure I had a decent look but couldn't find it (even using the hint information). I'll watch with interest to see what happens next. It wouldn't be the first time I've suffered from cache blindness.
Thanks anyway auswill.

Went there with kandyfly, she found it. Hint and title make it easy. Only thing I worried about was the fact that it's technically trespassing :/
well took me 3 times but once I got down and dirty found it easy
This was my first catch so to speak
so let's see if I get hooked then?!

This was the last of three cache finds today after an early morning meeting at MSAC. I parked across the road from the cache and wandered over to GZ. I felt like I was on private property while searching for this cache.
I had to stop searching for a few minutes when a car emerged from the rear of the building. I don't think they saw me as they turned right onto Alexandra St. I searched for a few minutes more but I felt a bit uneasy worrying that the neighbours might see me. So not wanting to hang around too long I took a squiz at the hint. [8)] This narrowed down my search and I soon located the cache and signed the log at 1:15 pm. TNLN.
Thanks auswill for the challenging cache and for showing me this interesting building.

Stopped by here while on the way back to the office. I was a bit worried about where Upoj was pointing but a read of the hint confirmed things and quickly had me with the stash in hand at 13:05.

I needed one today to keep a short streak going and this was it. At first I thought that I was going to be stymied for a while by workman in a van, but when I had an idle look around realised that all was fine, and once in the right location the find was made on the second look in a very likely spot. Thanks auswill.
Well I was in the area and wanted a easy cache as I have a bodgy ankle after braking it a few months ago.
Cache was found easily enough, was safe and dry, log signed and replaced as found.
There is no TB here which upsets me as they go missing far to often, suggest CO marks it missing on cache page so TB owner knows this.
Thanks for the hide

I was heading home to the north-east suburbs after spending the day working in St Kilda and decided to stop off for this cache along the way. Once I worked out where I needed to go, it didn't take very long to find the cache. Unfortunately, the Trackable listed as being here is missing...a far too common a situation these days.
Thanks auswill for the cache and bringing me to a "big T" building...years ago I worked for the "big T" and this was one of the few locations around Melbourne that I didn't actually get to...

Met with Monch's Mob here for a day's caching, first of the day and an easy find. Thanks for the hide.
Made the quickest find on my way into town with an early morning find . Been meaning to get this cache for a while, plants were a bit wet but I found a cache so who cares. tftc
So many muggles hanging out at gz. You would think a Sunday night at 8:40 would be quiet around here. Guess again!!! However it was a quick easy find after the muggles had cleared. Tftc tnln sl
Find 1111 at 20:47. I was out caching with Burge tonight and we were aiming for caches around the inner suburbs. All up we found 5 this evening and this was find number 2. There were a surprising number of muggles wandering the streets tonight but GZ was secluded enough for us to sign the log unnoticed. Thanks for the cache, auswill!
Popped out on a wintery wet weekend to do something in the area and wanted a cache for the day. Once we located the right garden, cache was in hand quickly and off with TB travel coin in hand. TFTC.
#381 Another nice find after coming over rom Quest 7.
So we came over from Quest 7 to grab this cache on the way back to Carnegie where we are staying.
We stopped the rent-a-bomb nearby and this time I went for the cache on my own. There was a muggle in the Rabbinical institute across the road that seemed a little bit suspicious of my actions, but was on the phone so didn't pay too much attention. After a little bit of searching I located the cache(thanks for the hint Freddo).
Signed the log and dropped off a TB to continue its travels. Headed over to goal or behind for our last find of the day.
Thanks for the cache auswill!

Looked absolutely everywhere here for the second time. I think someone may have stolen this one. Any more clues?!
Making the most of this beautiful autumn weather, I dedicated another day for riding the bike home from work. This cache was the hardest one to find this afternoon. With so much ivy around it was hard to know where to start. Reluctant to give up I kept retrying my search efforts until I finally felt the container. What a relief. In case other cachers have difficulty, don’t bother searching from the road – go in behind where you can’t be seen. I once worked for Telstra as a work experience student writing some software that determined what exchanges around Melbourne were getting close to congested. Good memories. Thanks for the cache auswill.
Found! The wife was a little worried about where we needed to look. A few muggles walking past didn't stop me, hidden enough for them not to notice me. Found the cache quickly & returned as found.
Thanks for this cache

Another (almost) drive-by cache, we parked close to GZ and spotting the obvious location + having read the hint I headed straight around to where I presumed GZ should be accessed, and quickly located the cache and logged our visit (lochb, GJMMelb and I), not tempted by the pseudo currency within... Out with Lochb and Quiet1_au this afternoon. Quiet1 read the hint and so walked straight up and found the cache while I was looking in the wrong spot. Thanks auswill

Found in the fading light. Was reluctant to use the torch too much lest it attract attention.

5 Maart 2014 13:29 wizard4u TFTC: today time for geocaching so I rented a bicycle and went south a bit to find a number of nice caches. Mostly traditionals but also some others. The CO's will become their answers if necessary. Dropped also a number of TB's from Europe. Nice tour in a nice area. All CO's thank you very much for the caches and the nice trip. Weather was ok for cycling. Thanx from holland

The caching itch was strong today and even with a scratch this morning before work I left the office feeling the need again. A quick scan of c:geo and this cache became my afternoon target. Thankfully I found easy parking near GZ and the arrow focused on an obvious target with a find made quickly. No passing traffic while I was at GZ so my activities were not questioned nor my logging interrupted.
Thanks auswill

Rebel Acts and I met for a quick round trip into the north of Melbourne tonight. We focused mainly on the new traditional caches published out that way. It's amazing how many caches are being published in such a short period of time. Thanks to all the CO's for their cache placements. Felt a little weird standing in here with people passing by.
Found @ 7:49pm, find # 2986.
Another great night out caching with Biggles1024, with my goal to reach 3000 cache finds before the end of the night. The GPSr wasn't giving us the right location but with the help of the hint we were soon onto it.
Thanks to auswill for placing this cache.

Find #919
Stemicmitsar and I again teamed up for a Friday/Saturday caching run. Tonight's primary goal was Steve's 3000th find.
We had an uncharacteristically slow start because we were muggled out at the first four or five caches we attempted and it was around an hour after we left Steve's place before we made our first find.
Trying not to look too obvious was very challenging here and we were almost rumbled by muggles. Steve made the find and we quickly scrawled our names into the log before we were on our way to the next one. SL TFTC

Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, With so many new caches being published its hard to keep up these days, tonicht we headed out around the North of Melbourne and did a little plain spotting.. Thanks auswill for the cache.
I had plenty of time today so decided to do some puzzles and multis that required a bit of driving and/or walking around. It turned out to be a really nice day which is good because the weekend is going to be way too hot.
I was starting to make my way back home and noticed this new one nearby. I parked fairly close and wandered across with numerous workmen along the street and in the exchange. I walked past and my GPS pointed right where I didn't want it to. After a few minutes of playing with my phone down the street a bit, the workmen left and I snuck in and luckily made a nice quick find thanks to the hint. Signed the log, took a trackable and was on my way.
An unusual location for a cache, but fun and a bit scary trying not to get sprung.
Thanks auswill for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Yay! My first FTF. It is ridiculously hot out there tonight (and 53% humidity), but CuriosaCollins and I couldn't resist the mission, considering it was a fresh cache, less than a 1km away. Armed with our trusty phones, we made our move, and soon had the little blighter in our hands. Thanks for the cache auswill.

Found on a sweaty Melbourne night with the sweaty MysteriousMrX. Look out for spiky things! Thanks, auswill!
