I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi wb1116
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Sorry, but I have to add to the growing list of DNF logs.
An absolute stunner of a Wellington afternoon here today, and I found I had the place to myself to have a good look around, but nothing obvious was found.

Out with a group of 22 Hutt Valley Tramping Club on an easy 20 min walk to the Cruikshank tunnel from the end of King Charles Drive. A pleasant walk through the tunnel and lunch up in the pine forest.
Picked up this one on the way home

I scored some cheap flights to Wellington for the weekend! I had a great time exploring and finding caches!! Great views! TFTC!
I was up in Te Marua collecting some miscellaneous multi and puzzle finals and decided to divert through Upper Hutt on the way home. First stop was here to retry a cache which went missing just before before my last visit (I can't believe how often that happens). I went straight to where I figured it would be last time and sure enough a cache was there now. I should have put the container on the ground while signing the log instead of sticking it to a convenient surface because it made an almighty clang when I did that which was not exactly stealthy. That didn't cause all the locals to come rushing over - and there were some very close that I passed on the way here.
Considering that most Leprechaun caches are out on trails somewhere (which is why I'm a bit of a fan of his caches) this cache seems unusual in being quite urban.
TFTC.

Quick grab when I'm supposed to be doing something else! Thanks for the distraction.
A quick easy find in the obvious location, although we wonder what the workers will think when they open it up. TFTC
this little leprechaun doesn't climb either, good thing i didn't have to here, tftc
I saw the cache owner for this one at morning tea time today. I was heading down to get my mail and I spotted him having a morning tea with a group of people. I waved out but didn't stop for a chat. Good to see you wb1116!
Anyway, I came up here after work for a look around. I have never been up this road before so it was nice to have a drive around the area. I stopped near GZ on the way down and wandered up to the tanks. From a distance I figured there was really only one place the cache could be so I didn't even bother getting my phone out of my pocket and went straight there and had a look. My instincts were spot on!
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

Out this way to do some shopping in Upper Hutt so figured we would grab another cache out this way. This one was an easy park and short walk to grab. Felt a little exposed but there was no one around apart from a muggle a way away weed wacking his section. Looks like they have plenty of room here for a few more tanks in the future. Thanks for placing the cache here it seems like a very quiet corner in a rather growing little corner of the valley. Enjoyed trying to pull the super magnet off, it was a lot stronger than I anticipated for its size.
# 1239 Needing a cache for today brought me and the family to this corner of the world. A leprechauns corner I believe. I actually stayed in the car for this one looking after the DangerBoy while JimmyNZ got out and grabbed the cache. I see he was taken with the super strong magnet too. I encountered one of those beasts down in Maidstone park. The noise it made on the metal during recontact was almost super sonic. Thanks wb1116 for this one. Quite like the ones by tanks and there sure are enough of them around this valley.
Found with bkj97 on our second day of caching while attending the Mega. Thanks to all who had caches for us to find while exploring the adjacent area. T4TCSL
Nicely tucked away.
Another Mega and the inevitable list of cache finds to log. Not really a chore, just time consuming for this old geriatric. My apologies for the repetitive logs but I will attempt to add a few additional comments as I go. Had a great two days. Catching up with other cachers is always great. Day one was mainly a solved puzzle collection with little blue hen and Kiwicouple. We also squeezed in a few adjacent traditionals and a couple of multis while participating in the CITO event in Trentham Memorial Park. Quiz night was a fun event after a very tasty roast dinner and we were happy to finish only 4 points behind the eventual winners. Day two little blue hen and I gathered a few more traditionals that we hadn't done close to the Mega centre. A few coffees, a favourite point or two, some frustrating searching at one or two and then off home for a rest. Thanks to all the COs for making it another fun weekend. Now to prepare for the Melbourne Mega in November. TFTCSL

(# 4740). On my way up Kingsley Heights I stopped in to grab this one. There really was only one place to look. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
In the area for the WENZ Mega Event. Can hear a lot of Tui here. A VERY strong magnet! TFTC.
Team BOP have descended upon the Wellington region for the 2018 WENZ MEGA. We have a lot of caches to get through so there isn’t a lot of down time but it's great to meet the locals, CO’s and fellow cachers. My online logs are largely cut’n’pasted because my memory has started to blur many of my finds together so apologies for that. We’ve signed logs as ‘TeamBOP’ or individually depending on log space and time. Lastly a big Thank You to the Team - TNXPro, Davidsonclan, McJandals, NZFlossy, FapandGap & Squirrel Nutcase and to all the CO’s that made this a memorable trip
It's finally Mega weekend!
Found while travelling with TeamBOP to the Mega event in Wellington.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Davidson Clan, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, TNXPRO and Philip.Perry and signed Team BOP. (To save room on logs) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers
Day 2 of the Wellington Mega adventure with KJR and we are on our way to find and log a challenge cache series and this was on the way a nice and easy park and grab TFTC ?

I don't know what happened here. It seemed like the cache was going to be in a logical place and I couldn't find any other viable hides. The GPS was all over the place but even so. I guess I'll see if the next cacher finds it.
We decided earlier in the week we were going to head towards Wellington instead of the Napier Hastings areas as previously decided to get some caches and get numbers up to be able to collect the Hidden creatures souvonairs. last weekend we got 32 so we need another 68. this is cache number 5 for the day, this was a nice quick find here today the cache was all good here today we signed the log and placed it back exactly where we found it. this is another area we had not discovered before, so thank you for bringing us here today. TFTC now onto finding cache number 6.
Stopped by here on the ay to returning the leprechaun's car. Leprechauns may not climb, but apparently they drive. Or maybe they don't as I had the car for the last three weeks.
Walked up the track from the bottom only to find a much easier route from the top. Oh well. Cache was an easy find, just as it is starting to spit again. No need to run though. My skin is waterproof.

I was in Mansfield Park a few days ago and this seemed to be my 'next closest' cache to find. Left until today and only a short walk, thankfully. As I approached I made assumptions; and for once was correct! T F T C wb1116
Probably the last meaningful chance to find a few caches on this 'overseas' trip so just a couple of not so Q E F s to get the numbers bumping along and rounded up. Eventually managed to get the 5 caches on the list, but only after the (now seemingly obligatory) couple of DNFs. A cold wind blowing through the area today, and the whole country, and rain in the air too. Even grabbed details for a couple of Multi caches to find if I get a chance tomorrow, hopefully.
Thanks for the caching experience Wellington, I will be back!

I had an inkling as to where the cache would be hiding but I couldn't find it by feel, so had to resort to technical measures. Eventually spotted and retrieved. Another cache found in an area I haven't been to before. TFTC
Didn't know if I was trying to find something that wasn't actually there? Or just having a guy look..
Cache and logsheet replaced - this now has waterproof paper and is good to go.
Please ensure lid properly closed.

All went well and nobody minded wet feet. UlmusLynx looked in the right place whereas Selesi and I looked in other perfectly likely places to no avail.

Father and son date combo today- lego expo, ice creams and geocaching!
ATTENTION PLEASE:
Geocache was spotting just laying on the pathway, unrelated to actual hiding spot. No bag, so the log was quite wet. Hubby logged it and tried to hide cache in appropriate clue based hiding spot- so it may need maintenance.

Log sheet replaced with rite-in-the-rain paper. Once this is full please log a maintenance log as I don't always get to read all logs. I'm probably planning or placing new caches for your enjoymert
