Not sure why I didnt find this cache back in 2019 when we walked the bike park to the botanic gardens. Maybe we did and forgot to log it. Anyway its found now with lots of rush hour traffic whizzing by. TFTC
In town for a conference and thought Id check out some caches in the area. After a bit of a stroll along the HBT from the cenotaph, ducked north a bit before heading into the gardens to get this one. Nice place. Tftc!
Well. High traffic is spot on! Another fin wit tha dog makin stealth tricky.
On my second day in Hobart, I spent several hours caching. I was able to find a total of thirteen caches while suffering only three DNF's.
Out & about for the day to get some caching done. Why not on a beautiful day like today. TFTF
Today was perfect geocaching weather. We took a long walk from the city center to the north and spredded some smilies on the map. Quick find by M, C didn't even start to search.TFTC MCoMeter
Heute besuchten wir unter anderen auch den Queens Domain Japaners Garden. Wir fanden die Dose recht gut bei wunderbarem Wetter. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.

In the evening we had dinner at my favorite Restaurant .the " HOGS BREATH CAFE"yummy Thank you for placing this Dsli (Dsli means little box in Swiss) oinkoinkText@holiday home
Nice hide.. although tricky when the track is busy.Cache is a bit sad ( has been wet and not well sealed due to container type) could use some love from CO or at least a zip lock bag and a new log.
Can't believe it's taken us this long to find the caches along here! A quick find with the clue. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
On a walk with a client today, collecting some caches. Not an immediate find, but good coordinates it was spotted soon enough.TFTC
another one we couldnt locate the first time but on a return trip katie had her hands on it immediately. thanks for this hide
My wife and I have flown down from Brisbane to Hobart for a short holiday to use up the last of our remaining flight credits collected during Covid. While my wife enjoyed a sleep in, I headed out bright and early on a rather chilly morning to find some geocaches during a walk along the Hobart Rivulet Trail.
Afterwards I headed back in to the city to meet up with her for a late breakfast around the Salamanca Markets before then continuing on for a walk out towards Queens Domain. Along the way I was able to call in and visit this cache.
Despite having a good idea as to the general area where the cache would be hidden, the GPS was jumping all over the place, and it took quite a while to find eventually narrow down by lining up some old photos in previous logs. TFTC

Seen a cache like this on Mornington peninsula Victoria, when retrieving makes you think what motorists must be thinking TFTC
Apologies for the late log! Visiting Hobart for the cricket and this was one of the non-playing days so I planned some walking and caching. Got the bus over from Bellerive for a long loop of Queens Domain and Cornelian Bay. Many thanks for the cache.
Found with Ski_12345 first cache of the day. It is true that it is very close to the road but it was a quick find ) TFTC
Down in the big smoke for a few nights before my girls go back to school.
We thought it would be great to get on some scooters and go from Cornelian Bay around to the Cenotaph. We had so much fun on the, my youngest was getting a bit to cockey as the other one was taking snap chats of her and she came off the scooter, nothing major heart just her pride. I give myself a short amount of time and if I didn't find the cache I would move on to the next one
Easy find
Thanks to the cache owners for this great trail of caches

As we were in the area this afternoon decided to do a maintenance run on Ainstar's and Scottymyths' caches in the area.

This was a challenge! Soooo many cars but our patience paid off eventually and we made it to GZ and logged the cache. TFTC
A chance today for a little caching whilst in Hobart down from the north west. We will enjoy our little winter shortest day, windless but sunny afternoon walk along the bike track. Traffic is intense here all the time nowadays, not to mention the bikes, motorised scooters, skateboards and the occasional dog walker and runner ! We can't hack this big city stuff ........ we're going back to the north west coast ! But thanks for the cache AINSTAR,scottymyth.
Feeling rather prone at this one but stubbornly determined to grab too.
Quickly spotted and grabbed before continuing to 400th

Today we decided to trek into Hobart and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A very cold, windy and a tad wet but braved the coooooooold weather and rugged up for the occacion.
A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Besides the constant hum of cars going passed looking a bit weird standing near the road nice easy find TFTC
Thanks to whomever left the operational pen nearby. Sorry but as we lost ours along the way we kept this one.
Was concerned at first with lots of overgrown grounds cover and many muggles zooming past but found it quick enough
The d/t threw me upon approach, as it was actually super easy.
Walked up and immediately grabbed it.
Back up in queensland this'd be a 1/1.5, bit soft down here
Thanks for an easy find. Yeehah!

Thanks for the cache AINSTAR and scottymyth.
This was a quick discrete grab, whilst a constant stream of traffic passed by in both directions.

Hi AINSTAR, scottymyth,
TFTC, Out and about today with EeePees riding this track, me planning on finding 8 or so and EeePees finding none as he had previously found them. We decided to ride to Cornelian Bay and find the caches on the way back to the regatta grounds were we ha parked. It was a bit tricky as it was busy today.
Thanks again,
KingSmev

Quick grab with ArchieMars on a scooter and bike adventure. First of the day. Off to the next we go. TFTC
Tasmania Day 1: Hobart and Mount Wellington
Flew in from Melbourne in the afternoon, so spent the rest of the day around Hobart visiting some of the scenic spots around the city. After lunch, headed to the Royal Botanical Gardens for a visit before heading up to Mount Wellington for the views and a bit of hiking. Went to the city of dinner and to pick up a couple more caches. Great first day in this hilly city with magnificent views.
This is the specific log for this cache:
Cannot go too wrong with a guarded cache, I suppose. A short little climb up to the edge and a bit of peering around in the gaps brought me the cache. TFTC!

Stopped for a coffee in the beautiful botanical gardens. Managed to safely cross the busy road. Container found after a short search.
