4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache
The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.
If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Multiple dnfs logged, no finds for an extended time period. Needs to be checked by CO or archived.
Was looking for a quick cache on the way to dinner with my parents and this one was closest to the highway. Took me a few minutes but eventually found the little sucker. TFTC JacobsCrew2.
Foiled by a couple training their dog right by GZ! Will come back another day.
Riding the geo-bike in High Wycombe today to collect a couple of smileys.
Had to go around the tree three times, but I got there in the end. TFTH

Having just had repairs completed on my grandsons GPS it was time to give it a test run. We attempted 8 caches in this suburb this clear winters afternoon without a DNF so guess the GPS is now OK.
Thanks for these caches JacobsCrew.
Thanks for these caches JacobsCrew.
On my way back home decided to do a tour of the High Wycombe parks, so made a very meandering journey through the suburb checking them all out.
Waited out a dog walking muggle and then luckily spotted this on in the first place I put my hand.
Thanks for the cache JacobsCrew.

Had to get a cache today for my geocaching calendar, so detoured out this way. Only had time for a quick squizzy before the heavens opened up and I had to sprint back to the car. Another time maybe... Thanks JacobsCrew
As I approached the big tree I was thinking there are a lot of places to hide a bison tube here, but very happily I found the cache on my first round of the tree. Nice hide! Thanks JacobsCrew!
Spent an hour or so in High Wycombe today tracking down some of the many caches in the area. Lots of nice little parks like this one in these parts.
Arrived at the GZ tree just as a couple of muggle kids decided to stroll in and have a swing at the playground.
I did not let them thwart my efforts and came up with the goods.

Out early-ish with Bren to try and beat the heat, but it was still tough. Arrived here and spotted the csche almost straight away. TFTC!
Decided to head out with my brother to find a number of caches close to home. I had scoped out many of these parks a few years ago, and I'm glad some caches have been placed here. This was the first park we arrived at, and Dunc made a quick find. TFTC
We've had a couple visiting from the UK for a few days and they had previously heard of geocaching but never experienced it so....after a brief run-down on how it all works, here we all are looking for this cache at midday-ish on a 38 degree day! Mr British visitor is poking at all the possibilities and with a keen eye spots the target quite quickly. Well done Colin, we think you're a natural.
We gave him the honour of signing the log on our behalf.
