I have now replaced this cache that should be easier to find and it is something a bit different.
I have taken 20 readings as it is in the bush, so it should be within +/-3

Etherlord Clan - I plan to get this one up and running again very soon I have been back a few times to see if the green waste was something that happened often which it seems it is, so I wont be able to place another mushroom which is what I wanted to do

Hi guys,
Is there any update on the status of this cache? Smile

24-Mar-14
went up to look tonight for the cache and its gone looks like the people that live behind the park dump green waste over the fences, I will have a new cache up and running as soon as I can

A rather frustrating DNF for me today. I gave it two good attempts with no luck. Even using my 'text a friend' card didn't turn up any results. Google maps puts me in the back yard of one of the houses which doesn't help. There was also a muggle sitting out the back of their house smoking away which hindered my search attempts. Will have to try again some other time.

20-Mar-14
Too hard to find tonight. Had a thorough look all the way up and all the way down and despite being armed with a clue from a previous finder, no luck
Will be back

17-Mar-14
Had noted this down quite some time ago, so wasn't aware a hint had been added.
GPS was no good in here, so it was a bit like looking for a needle in a hay stack with no size or hint to go on. Also there was a muggle just over the fence who we had to be wary of.
Will try again next time we're in the area.

Too good for me today.

Over for the day to clean up some of the new Feilding caches. Did our homework but like Adventure Collectors were frustrated by not being able to get a decent 'fix.' GPSr got us up on the ridge which was pretty hairy but couldn't find an Agaricus bisporus. Had to be very careful getting down. After some considerable time we decided to abandon the hunt as it was too much of a needle in a haystack, especially after a string of DNF's with similar co-ord and hint frustrations. Was disappointed not to find as we have an idea of what the camo may be and were really looking forward to finding it. Unfortunately exceedingly frustrating. May have to bring the whole 'camp' for another look next time. TFTC

got it very happy , neat little cache

#7081. Certainly wasn't expecting bike tracks in this small area. Quite a steep slope to clamber up (and down again). Luckily Troodles had down her homework and told me what to look for. TFTC.

Lucky I had done my homework with the hint so knew what to look for, and after a few minutes searching, StreetWalker found it. Took longer to get the logbook out as it had been jammed in so tightly. Finally, after ripping a few bits off the edges, StreetWalker managed to extricate it. We removed the last few cms off the paper to make the logbook smaller, and hopefully easier to remove and replace.
Thanks for the nice hide and showing us this interesting area.

That was a tough one! I was on my way out and about to call it quits when I noticed exactly what I'd been looking for the whole time!
Found with Atoms7.

Wow what an awesome cache. Fantastic hide. Took a while to find this one but got there in the end. 1/2/2014

Sorry, but I don't see the wisdom in placing a micro (possibly nano size) cache in thick bush/trees where geocachers can't register a proper, accurate gps reading. I managed to get the distance to GZ to 6m on my gps but not any further and with a huge array of possibilities for a placement of a micro/nano it truly becomes a needle in a haystack.

Cool place, didnt know it was there. Couldnt find the cache today too much rubbish and possible hidey places plus gps not great in the trees will have to try again before winter!

This was one we did not find in spite of spending 30 minutes searching and being eaten by mossies. A great spot for kids to ride,We will be back an extra hit would help!.
After the wind and rain of Tuesday 21 st the 22nd of January was fine and clear. Jono S and I had decided that we needed a day in Feilding to start finding all the new caches and would need an early start.
I picked him up before 8 am and we were off on our day geocaching following a worked out route that tried to avoid doubling back.
We found 19 caches so of which were straight forward and others more of a challenge and took a bit of time. We didn't find three.

An afternoon caching with my son, spritenz and insanitynz and their kids, could not find this despite a thorough search will have to come back for a better go next time, so frustrating when you cant find them.

Despite a very intensive AND energetic scramble we were unable to find any trace of this cache. Felt as if I had run the cycle obstacle course with flat tyres!
A definite cache where the grandchildren would be a blessing in the search department.

Today was a Feilding Geocache Day! An early start in the company of MJMNZ we set off to “knock off” some of the many new caches appearing in and around Feilding; mostly with success! But NOT this one!

couldn't find even after talking to tremichlin

Found this after looking for probably 20 mins. And it was the 2nd time so we were getting fed up as there are so many possibilities! Lucky for us Tre turned up with a more accurate gps than ours and narrowed it down, then found it. YAY! Very clever, first cache we have struck like it, so I am not convinced we'd have found it otherwise. You need a nice bright day to hunt in the gloom of the trees and bug spray is a good idea too.Big Grin Thanks heaps.

[green] Saw these Timoana caches pop up and decided not to do anything about them - I'll save them for dot days. Then Popmac rings me, having problems, caches won't download into his GPS. We sort that out, then have a little discussion about the new caches that popped up today. Long story short, here we are, filling in a dot day, and if we are lucky, claiming a real prize.
We duck into the trees and find... yes - rather an odd surprise this bike park. Oh no - no matter how far I walk, my cellphone says 29 meters. That's what comes of getting out of the house quickly - no time to load the caches into the GPS. So I walk back out into the daylight, managed to get the distance to 25 meters, and a direction, then I step if off into the trees. Okay Popmac, I'll try this, you try that, says I, hoping it is obvious. And Popmac finds it almost immediatly! Impressive! Tricky tricky tricky... Gets a favourite. Hey! The log is still empty! {FTF} !! Quick! On to the next!

Had a look - even came back and had another quick look. Still didn't find it - bugger! Another time I guess.

Grandsons were on the computer for much of the afternoon. After they left, I looked and saw seven new caches published an hour ago. With having trouble with GPS, not downloading, I rang The Seagnoid who was able to sort me out - many thanks!! We then decided to go and get one or two over here, and were surprised to find five blank logs. Yay, Joint FTF!! The Seagnoid told me to look over there and I was surprised to find it so quickly. Thanks for the cache.
