Today, I had organised with Freddo and gridge98 to ride the Northern Expressway bikeway to complete the *Nexy Challenge* series geocaches. We rode the full distance, and then in the afternoon, jesswrigley and I visited the south-eastern end of Cleland Conservation Park and took a few walks around the area. The day began cold spitting a little, but towards the afternoon, it turned out to become quite warm and not too hot; almost the perfect day to be outside and hiking.
Freddo, gridge98 and I had set off early to complete this series. Both gridge98 and I had yet to find these geocaches, and Freddo had recently acquired these and was in the process of performing maintenance for a few that had accumulated DNFs. We rode past here, stopped, and managed to find this cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Burton's for the cache placement, and equipe de cinq for its ongoing maintenance.

Today I headed out with the godfather (Freddo) and Davidwazza to complete the next challenge trail and start the next big thing. A nice ride along the trail for the whole 50km as we went from Gawler to Port Adelaide. A great day out with over 40 finds.,
Thanks for the cache

Out for a fun day of caching with Dr Owl, SA Sewer Rat and JJ52.
I was still getting myself organised when we pulled up here. Another NEXY cache off the to do list.
Thanks for the cache The Burton's.

Out on a weekly wander with a Rat, a Fish and a Dragon. The target caches were further north, but when one is on the side of the road begging to be found, then what is a poor cacher to do but stop and search for it? The cache was found on the ground, but replaced in a more logical place.
Been planning another Friday afternoon for ages. Finally decided to do it today so got the bike loaded in the Ute last night.
Thinking I could have picked a better day as it was so windy this afternoon. Luckily though the rain held off so it was just wind to contend with.
Had a makeshift lunch with the geohusband and hound at work and then headed out here to try and get 20’pr so caches.
Had a few dnfs and a few manly logs but the rest were all found easily in the obvious spots.
Some nice history panels to read.
The big ride back to the Ute almost finished me off but made it before the heavens opened.
Stopped for Scooby snacks on the way home. Great caching afternoon will plan another trip to hopefully collect the rest.

Started these from the other end. So while down here I thought let do this one. Found with superman_22
For quite some time now i have being wanting to do this group of caches. Today is a beautiful 26 degrees, and that was all the motivation i needed. So i packed my gear, jumped on my bike and caught a train out to Gawler.
I started at the end rather than the beginning. TFTC

Today we decided to don our bike helmets and pump up the tyres and see how we go on the Nexy. Miss 10s bike was too small, Miss 14 recovering from shoulder surgery, Mr emilyangels bum not used to small seats.....this was going to be a tough ride and a sore night. But the ride was completed with no bandaids needed which surprised us all. Great family day out thankyou.
Sadly we didn't find this cache today but will be back.

Today was a special day, with the aim to get JJ52's 3000th find. We set off early in the morning with a bit of a plan and hoped to get as many of Gawler's caches as we could. At the end of the day I had 32 finds and 2 DNF's, experienced my 4th visit to Gawler Fort Knox and found an old (original) MIA cache that had long ago been replaced!
Our last Nexy for today! TFTC Burton's

Ismartis and I headed to Gawler today, somewhere I had not done any caching and I was on my way to number 3000 so it was a good opportunity to see some different country and earmark a special cache for my milestone. We set off with a rough plan of the caches we would try and find and ended up having a really good day with 34 finds and 2 DNF's for me. [^]
We were driving past so decided to stop and get these ones on the side of the road. One of my geocaching goals now is to get the rest of the Nexy Challenge caches on my bike. I reckon it would be a lovely ride on a nice day.
Thanks for the cache Burton's.

I'm visiting Adelaide for the TDU but flew a few days early to grab some cache finds too. With my roadbike in Adelaide, I couldn't resist heading to Gawler on the train to complete this series. Thanks Burton's for the cache.
simple find along the bike path. will have to bring my family and bikes back to complete the whole trail
Another great find on a geocaching trip around the area.
Thanks for putting up this cache and the series and making my visit fun.

Found during an energetic ride along the Nexy Bikeway on a cold, overcast day. Thanks for the challenge and cache Burton's!
Picked up this one while grabbing another in the area, log was a bit wet but still able to sign.
Headed out to Gawler today with earthlight and snap happy to grab some of the local caches, weather was great and some of the views were spectacular, a quick find as we made a slight detour to grab these ones : ) TFTC
A great day to be out with friends caching around Gawler.
Found with 3LG whilst Snap Happy stood by watching us.

Muggle partner dropped me off at Gawler where I met Snap Happy at the start of the Nexy trail.
We rode, we cached (Peter more than me as I had already found a few caches on the trail) and then later we drove out to Stockport, still caching
I ended the day with 20 finds and 1 DNF on Nexy #22, which will soon be rectified.
We pedalled, we laughed, we found caches and we found muscles that we weren't sure we had
Due to my having an appointment in Gawler, we had to stop halfway through but we will return to complete the rest!
Snap Happy was quite happy when he said 'that's a puzzle cache' and I replied 'that's ok, I've solved it'
Thanks for the fun and the exercise

Headed over to SA for a planned trip, and fortunately Sorceysal was able to accompany me at short notice, meaning I wasn't stranded here doing the trip solo. I'd done this series previously with Skippy and Semik a couple of years ago, while replacing the eclipse containers with the pre-forms. Today SS and I headed down here to grab the new ones, I see now taken over by my good friends, The Burton's. Thanks Lee and Jim for taking this great series on, always good to jump on the bike for a run. Most were easy finds, and although I suffered multiple punctures at one cache about halfway (While climbing on the bike to reach a higher cache), we made it through to the end. All good fun
Day two of our epic road trip with the Bogonghazys as we get nearer to our goal of the geoart fish series. A great day with lots of finds and laughs along the way. This is certainly a cache rich state and my many thanks for the Cachers of South Oz for all the effort you have put in placing these caches for us to find.
Love the series and the opportunity to stretch the legs. Thanks for the cache Burton's
