Bike caching with team 3 knights. Recently every day was raining, so it must be a miracle that today (Saturday, a non-working day, also Qingming Festival) is a sunny day! The weather is just perfect for outdoor activities.
Today our trip started from Fo Tan, I need to rent a bike from YY bike shop since I don't own one, while wanrex and catchphrases already BYOB (Bring your own bike). After having breakfast there together and bike rented, we took a train to Sheung Shui in order to save time. Our route is to bike up the Great Wall, and then go to Sha Tau Kok, Luk Keng, Kuk Po, Tai Mei Tuk respectively, back to Sha Tin, and finally have a poweful end biking up the Tao Fung Shan. The whole trip took us around 9 hours to complete and covered more than 70km!

It really feels like biking on the Great Wall, except that I hiked up the rolling hills.
In the foggy weather, I can neither see the mainland nor most of New Territories, but it feels a bit like the Scottish Highlands.
Despite the DNF at the previous cache, I left on a high. With tired legs, I went down the track to Wah Shan Village and walked to Sheung Shui to close a great caching and hiking day.

Not everyone will agree with me but for an added dimension this cache is best enjoyed at nighttime when you can really enjoy the tranquility of this hill knowing the nearest person is miles away. On a clear night the whole of Shenzhen is lit up. I've also come across barking deer before at close range not to mention numerous snakes. I don't need an excuse to come here as this is one of my favourite spots but thanks for the cache which added a little extra enjoyment to my evening walk.
