StreetWalker wanted to have another go at "Squelch" further down the bike path, and as we walked past this cache. decided to have a look for it as it was still in my GPSr. StreetWalker had already found it so it was a quick find (I was wondering if the CO had already uplifted it). Nice hide!
Sorry the CO has lost interest in geocaching as this cache would have taken a bit of effort to create. TFTC.

First decent day's caching since we arrived in Canterbury. After a false start this was a quick find once we dodged the biking muggles. TFTC!!!
#12754. I needed a few finds today to get up to 10+ finds for July 22. I'd sussed out the nice hide earlier in the week, so it was a quick find. TFTC.
Second crack at this one, last time was a year ago, but finally found, great hide, thanks
A nice day out for a ride, and finally getting around to a few Christchurch caches. An oldie but a goodie. Thanks.
Great hide!! First of its kind I have come across but then again I'm only a newbie
This bike ride was full of innovative caches, thanks to those who placed and maintained them!
Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68, Katsukka and tanjuli (+husband) and had great time. We used TVVK Fin (that is tanjuli, vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Finland.
Day #5 geocaching in NZ in good company (=tanjuli + husband, vipema, Veke68 & Katsukka = TVVK-FIN in the logbooks, most of the time), back in Christchurch & surroundings. Had a great time despite the rain and found a lot of caches + saw so many interesting/beautiful places.
Thank you!!!!
Thank you!!!!
Mega trip to NZ with vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka, day 5. We found tons of caches and had a blast. We logged as TVVKFIN to save log books. Thanks for the fun and greetings from Finland.
Caching holiday in New Zealand with Tanjuli, Vipema and Katsukka continues and now again in Christchurch.
Rainy day but still we found lot of nice caches.
We logged only TVVK-FIN to save space in the logbook.
Thanks!!

Visiting Christchurch for the MEGA, and was staying another couple of days with friends, near Halswell
Borrowed one of their bikes and headed of for the Motorway cycle path and other caches on way back.
Weather wasn't the best, but didn't get past a heavy drizzle, which cleared up around mid day.
Thank yiou everone for you cache hideing. Have enjoyed my visit, managed some of the touristy things, inbetween caching TFTC
Had an idea of were cache could be but nothing would move. Noticed something that confirmed I was in the right place but needed a TOTT that I didn't have, to help retreive the cache. In the end had to use GPSr to get a bit of force.

Dusted of the bike for a nice ride around ChCh great way to explore before he Mega gets to busy. thanks for the cache nice hide
Out caching today with OrionJ with no particular plan. We had been waiting for one of these all day. Yay finally!.Thank you MUNTR for placing and maintaining this cache.
[green] A late start today - I had to pick up my car (all four cylinders working now, yay!) and catch up with a fellow cacher at Uni, so my second find was not till about 10:30. Despite that I still met my objective - 40 caches in one day, and all by bike! The highlight was the Back to the Future event and having a go on a hoverboard! (sort of).
Took me a while to find this. Funny thing is, it is a cache hide I had been expecting right from the beginning and have been testing this hide at a number of the other stops along the cycleway. Gets a fav from me, the only one I have awarded over the whole cycleway.

Out with THE GREEN GECKOS, caching our way from an event in the city this morning through some of the suburbs and finishing at the evening event.
Having just walked some of the cycleway here and looking for a particular type of hide but not finding it, we made this last stop before returning to the car. It turns out the hide I had been looking for all along was found here, not a bad job. Glad that we passed the guy mowing back near the walk under, or it could have been a problem here.

Saving the best till last. Have see this hide before so it was a quick find though still enjoy it. Another favorite. TFTC
Log signed this time as another finder had assisted in the process that I couldn't expedite before
Talk about motorway madness - whilst hunting for this hide, I had the opportunity to observe the motorway habits of CHCH drivers. The habit of staying in the overtaking lane at a slow speed is something that I think needs legal attention - in about 5 mins, I saw this occur 3 times with the resulting frustration from following drivers audibly obvious! At a time when "speed" is the focus, I think the cause of the motorway madness is the slow buggers - anyway, off the soapbox. To the hide - this is logged with permission, as I supplied evidence to the CO of the find but the inability to sign the log was another frustration! Certainly a great hide and +1 even though I have come across this type before. Good fun - went off to find the dog droppings next - a cachers life is full of variety eh?
while visiting family over easter decided it was time to do some of the caches along side the motorway. Great cache

Would have been even more fun if it hadn't been so bitterly cold!! Was pretty sure where it was- but had a mission getting at it. Found an improvised tool and success! tftc
Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Mallorcatommy, con/limon and I were travelling through the southern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
Thank you!
We have been slacking a bit this month so headed out for a bit of a walk and to start tackling the many caches placed along the motorway. Really enjoyed this cache. Good hide!

I was on my way to do the Motorway series of caches today but ended up finding 36 caches on my 25 km walk. This was the first find of the series. This type of hide is very common in Sweden so it was an obvious place to look. Not so obvious perhaps to locals.

Tftc, this was a lovely walk, thought we'd get a few done and despite the broiling temperatures, various hilarious injuries from general clumsiness, we had a great time before calling the chauffeur to bring us home to play in the garden sprinklers and plan our next foray.

Amazing hide, took me about 30 seconds to figure out. Gets a favourite point from me. TFTC
TFT with Emily, olie, Ava and George. Trying to get 16 today to catch up with Danks007 13 to go.
Brilliant. I was hoping one cache along the cycleway would be one of these. After cycling the route from the Lincoln Rd end... now for the long bike ride home. TFTC
Quick easy find this time! Can't believe I didn't think to look here last time, must have been the baby brain. Very clever! Took the TB.
22nd find along the cycleway between Curletts Road and Halswell Junction Road. Great walk with Moneydork TFTC
Went out last night in the rain and hail and froze my fingers off looking for this we one. In the light and dry of the day, the find was easily made. Thanks for the hide.

A late evenings caching leading up to tonight's event. As it was a very warm, pleasant evening and still with some time to spare, I decided to go for a wander and attempt this one again. This time the GPS took me straight to a likely spot and I found the cache in the first place I looked. How I missed it last time I don't know! TFTC.

TFTC nice hide, second time past it first time to many people around second time found.
We parked up nearby and decided to spend the afternoon knocking off as many of the cycle trail ones that we could before catching the plane back home. This was our first and thankfully one we have seen (and considered doing the same type of hide ). A great hide. TFTC.
Out for an afternoon's ride to find some caches. This was the first stop and I came away empty handed.
On my return, I had another look and still couldn't find it.

Our only DNF for the day. Looked and looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Oh well. Will be back.
Aparently the cache has gone missing. The hide is still there tho and if you choose to look for this cache you will know still know if you have found it or not. I'll replace cache in next few days.
This one eluded us today as we started of on our bikes to do this cycleway. stopped on the way back but still no joy.
Very clever hide, but i found it actually very fast. This was the second cache on my tour. TFTC!
Now I didn't find this one. suspect it was because I hadn't gotten into the swing of things. will have another look later.
We knew what we were looking for. Just had to find the right one. Something gave it away.
6077. Decided to finish off the motorway cycle caches this morning after starting at the Awatea/ Wigram Road entrance. Easy find after a short search, GPS was all over the place but we geocachers know where to look! Thanks, Rodney.
Damn. Between the trees and power poles my phone kept playing up. Will try again soon
I'd taken my dog for an afternoon amble as we picked up the run, scooter series and as this was only 700m further on, we carried on and picked this one up too. Initially we were distracted by some motorway accessories, and it looked like someone had been having a bit of "madness" fun. Came back and actually used the GPS device this time instead of guessing and there it was, a nicely constructed hide. No, officer, really it wasn't us...... blue and red flashing lights.... hmm.... definitely motorway madness going on today!
Surprisingly this did not take me long to find - or did I just get lucky - a clever hide TFTC
