Archiving due to persistent vandalism. Time to open up the area for someone to hide some new caches out this way.
I was here with Mazzymay who had been here with some others who had found it last week. She was going to sign the log too but all the caches here seem to be missing now.
Disabling due to a cretin going around and stealing caches. When will this madness end.
Found by Geokid with younger geokid.
Out in the sun for the day.
Cache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

Second stop & we're still going strong. In fact, we've encountered so many of these it was more like "there it is!" from way over yonder. Though muggles would be totally clueless, as they very often are. Methinks we're on a roll.
Jenno3 and I decided to do a spot of caching after work. This was our 1st find on the track. I will be forever grateful that the ants didn't bite me. Tftc
A lovely spot to rest while walking this lovely area, will have to come back to finish the caches here when the weather is a little dryer, nice little hide, TFTC
Found it
A great walk around the wetlands made more interesting by these caches.

A quick few caches while out dropping kids off at friends, this one had me stumped by not geokid. Nice camp. Thanks for the cache. Cheers
Back in the 'Rat' visiting a mate so a few caches were in order to be converted while out here.
Last cache for the evening. Spotted as we walked up to it
Thanks Fergzter for the cache

Lovely day for sitting in the sun enjoying the view. Although it's dry, there are several water birds here. I was greeted by a heron poking around in the grasses. Onwards to the last one! TFTC.
This was the first of the caches in the wetland area and did not really need to rest at this point. SL TFTC
A classic geocache hide here and a quick find, thanks. The area is a tad dry for a wetlands but at least they are trying to do something here.
Travelling home with BettyBoo3747 and we had a bit of time, so we collected a few on the way.
Felt like a bit of a flat walk around some wetlands, so we stopped in here.
This was our first one, and BB spotted it immediately. We sat down to sign the log.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7185. Robmc and I are making our way home after the Beaufort Events but there is always time for a cache or two or three....
Rob says we felt like a walk - make that HE felt like a walk. I am still suffering from my bullant bite to the ankle from Saturday Morning at Mt Beckworth. Took the hiking pole again just in case of snakes but we have been lucky this season and not seen any so far. I would love to see some water and water birds here. Just long grasses and some dandelions today.
A nice quick find, spotted as we walked up. It looks a long way around from here.
Thanks Fergzter

Nice easy find by Geo-daughter. Great little area. We had 5 minutes up our sleever & got through 2 of the series. Will be back for the others another day.
Found with neisha07 who got very excited upon pulling out a fresh log thinking we were the FTF. TFTC

Welfare check. All is well with the cache. The wet log and inner container have been replaced with a shiny new one. Hopefully good for a while now.
A quick find at 1:05pm as I started the circuit of the wetlands. Log book damp but useable.
thanks Fergzter
thanks Fergzter
The three geoboys and I were in the area after the annual GM day so we thought we would find some on our way home. All was going well until GeokidB decided he had enough of today. Only got 2 finds today but we will return with the rest of the Clan another time to find the others. Thank you for this lovely area. These are the type we enjoy most. TFTC.
Log seems to have gotten some moisture and need replacing shortly

We needed to get out of the house today so decided to head up to Miners Rest for a walk.
The track here is really great and we had the place to ourselves.
After completing the loop we had 5 more finds too.
Thanks to Fergzter for placing them around here.

It was nice being carried around the trail by Dad.
I peeked my head out at a couple of caches but enjoyed the nap.

Find #1651
Off to Ballarat for an appointment, I left home early and the plan was to grab this small set of caches before I hit the big smoke. This was the perfect activity to get the blood warmed up on this cold morning. The hard part was finding a good place to park, I was looking for a designated parking area but just had to settle for the side of the road.
I was surprised to see that I had this area to myself.
All the caches were found relatively quick as co-ords were smack on.

Found on a fun caching day with Misschief18 and The 2 Wanderers. Nice restful place at the end of our walk. Great container! Thanks for bringing us here Fergzter
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Team Crackers, at 1645. Our final stop on the wetlands circuit. We could see a muggle family near the start preparing to head out onto the circuit. There was along boardwalk bridge section between us and the finish, and we preferred not to meet them in the middle. As a result, we were happy to make a quick find again. Made it back to the cachemobiles without having to pass anyone on the boardwalk. Our thanks to Fergzter.
After a great time at the Canadian Creek Cito we headed off with Maccamob to try our luck this little series.
With a family unloading a pram and an eager dog at the northern entrance we did not have time to stop for a rest here. Fortunately again the container was found quickly and our names added to the log before the family had even got ready.
Thanks Fergzter for a fun little series, we will have to come back when they are wetlands and see the difference.

Day 14 Mega Road Trip - Around Ballarat today, our final day. After the 1st DNF was great to have a find. Nice walkway. SL. TFTC.

After attending the Maker Madness @ Buninyong Event we teamed up with Feathertop with the hope of putting some more smilies on our respective maps of the Ballarat locale. We enjoyed our walk around the wetland, wondering if or when it may actually be wet! Unfortunately there were no Groundsel flowers or water birds today. The resting spot completed a most enjoyable circuit, so it was back to the cars and heading homeward.
TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to Fergzter for the hunt.

This was my 16th and last cache of the day, time to head home.
So dry there were giant cracks at the resting spot, deep enough to swallow a cache and they almost did...
Nice to bump into Biggles Bear at the entrance on our way out.
Cheers Fergzter

Suscoe's first find of the morning with the awesome sister in tow.
The grass was still wet with last night's rain as we entered the reserve and made our way first to this nice resting spot.
Cache found just before the first of many muggle dog walkers arrived.
A chat and then had to wait while they left before replacing the cache.
Thanks to Fergzter for placing this cache.
Off clockwise to do the walking trail and hoping to find the others in this series.

A nice quick pick up this afternoon. Geokid made the find. Thanks Fergzter. Great cache container.
Took the suggested rest. Low and behold what did my hand happen upon. With crazycatwoman and anon geokid. TFTH Fergzter.
An Australia day caching run led to these freshly planted caches, and a nice walk round the dry wetlands was made. Again the last place I looked.

Another FTF! A magpie sitting nearby looking at me suspiciously! TFTC signed a fresh new log!! Good hide!!
JIWILLY had informed me they had found all the rest bar one, so the pressure was off as I walked the circuit.
