Recently moved to Adelaide from Tasmania and having a break in between uni today I decided I’d get out and do some caching! I saw this trail and thought I’d go and have a look! Great trail!TFTC
Out and about with BJA3. Great afternoon for finding a few caches. Great area, nice hide, TFTC.
Weather turned bad for a kayak so a land based caching expedition was in order. Found with Power_of_Six just before the rains hit hard. Thanks
Beaut winter weather for a bike ride today. Sadly log cards are soaked so thanks Barnic for a fresh log book. TFTC!
Out caching with geomum and geodog completing the series. Thanks for the cache. Nice hide however could be concealed a bit better. Had to get on hands and knees for this one. The 'logbook' is absolutely saturated. Found at 15:19.
Gotcha!
Hmmm... I think I'm already spotting a pattern.
The even numbers are easy, the odd numbers... no so much.
Thanks McKees

Found whilst cycling today. Unfortunately the cache was opened and contents scattered. Gathered up most of the "log book" and repositioned. Queen of diamonds for me. TFTC
Day Twenty of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I are still at Semaphore in Adelaide. Deadly treadlies left in the garage today and into the geocar and shanks ponies for our caching.
The last time we were in these wetlands was late 2012, and the series then was looking decidedly sick.
Good to see they have been redone and are in good nick (and doubled in number!)
The traffic has increased somewhat though, and the ever present rumble of big trucks was all through the park.
A nice walk end to end though.
Home now and getting our fluids back up.
Thanks for the series.
We did like the logbook for this one. Some pages were easier to write on than others.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11925. Day 20 of our SA holiday. Someone is feeling rather tender after 3 days caching and touring by bicycle (not me) so it is caching by geochariot today. Time to collect a few outstanding ones north of here and then head out to do the BGWT caches before returning home for some down time. A nice little tally of 20 smilies and the obligatory DNF.
I loved this cute idea for the log sheets. We shared a card with someone else. Think it was 2 of diamonds we stamped.
Thanks McKee Clan

Find #6, found and signed log at 14:15... Love the 'Log Book' with this one TFTC McKee Clan
All but one of these on the trail were easy to find for the kids to enjoy, I handed the youngest geokid the gps and he pretty much found them all himself.
The caches were all well stocked with swag and dry. It was a nice walk on a sunny autumn day. Thanks McKee Clan for the walking trail.

went for a beautiful stroll in search of these 9 caches... one of my favourite logbook... ingenious..this series was so much fun and perfect for the kids.... TFTC
BGWT #6 contains a novel log book. First I have come across of this type
Signed and returned as found, the sun was setting on the horizon. Time to pick up the pace
Many thanx to the McKee Clan

Came for a visit to the Barker-Greenfields Wetland trail on the way from further north back to the city while on a work trip from Canberra. It was a glorious afternoon and it was a very happy wander along here grabbing 9 of out 9 from this series.
Was powering along at a bit of a pace by this the time no 6 was found as the light was beginning to fail, so had to keep thing moving.
This was a fun series, thanks heaps McKee Clan!
Cheers

Had a spare hour this morning so why not go for a walk and find some caches. As this trail was close to home with a number of caches it ticked all the boxes. . Accurate coordinates made an easy find. Thanks McKee Clan.
Find 2409
Found on the hike to BGWT 9 and back approx. 5km from the selected car park, good training for the ANZAC Day March.
Thanks to the McKee Clan for the cache and hike.
Still Fine Elsewhere.

This was an interesting, yet different type of walk through a wetlands. The most significant impressions were the lack of water with many areas being very dry and a lack of wildlife. That changed a little towards the western end where there were some pools of water on which a couple of ducks tried to swim around but there were many tadpoles.
Accurate coordinates and a familiar type of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks McKee Clan for this cache, the series and for bringing us to an area which is very different to normal times.

Up early so decided to do a few caches as an easy leg stretcher. This small trail was nearby so over we went. A couple of the spots could do with a clean up and the small foot bridges have seen better days with some boards broken or rotten through. Most hides found with out too much of an issue. TFTC and series.
Needed a little run to boost our numbers as we work our way towards a milestone this series did the trick nicely Took us awhile to get started as we struggled to work out the best place to park. Spotted plenty of rabbits and got eaten alive by mosquitoes.
Sorry for the generic logs

Decided that a hot muggy day was the best day to do this walk.
Back in the groove of better sized containers.

This part of the wetlands sre almost dry. Where do the birds go at this time of the year. Loved rhe unique log. Thanks McKee Clan
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Decided that this morning in the relative cool was the time to attempt this series. Actually did the series in reverse. It was a great walk through some nice areas but the smell was a bit off as the water is evaporating in the heat. Made quick finds on all of the caches. Will post the same log for the series. Gratias pro cache McKee clan
TFTC enjoyed the morning walk with wifey and the dogs

Walked the trail with Alioo91 and geodog. Easy finds and good hiding spots. TFTC
Finally getting into caching after moving back to Adelaide. I have driven past this many times when returning from Kadina. Thought today was a good day for a walk! Liked the different logbook. I'm on the 6 of Clubs at BGWT 6!

Took Chloe the geopup for a walk to finish the last of the series (has been a few short visits!).
She got very excited over a couple of rabbits hopping around, I got annoyed at mosquitoes.
Luckily no slithery things like last time I was nearby.
A nice hide - signed on the Jack of Spades

What a beautiful Saturday weatherwise!
I needed to get a find on my calendar for today, and so I looked at my unfound map, and decided that this series was a good candidate for this purpose.
I'd previously done this series before the McKee Clan took it over, so it was nice to be able to get more similes in a location that I have been to before.
So on this beautiful Saturday afternoon, it was nice to get outdoors and do some caching.
Loved the log book at this cache. The 8 of spades was my choice!
TN Left a few bits and pieces in the cache to give it some good swag.
SL
Seek3r-ed and found!

Hawkgirl decided to do a geocaching hike for her Grey Wolf Badge for cubs. This was the perfect trail, all caches found eagerly and easily by the group. Thanks for putting this trail down McKee Clan, we all had a great time.
Parked up near BGWT #1, we had a nice family walk with the geodog down to BGWT #8 and back again. Geoson was the one to find this cache, loved the original logbook, signed and replaced cache. 2 of clubs!

Out on a beautiful day for a walk in the wetlands (Oh, and to find some caches too!) Had great difficulty finding this one, going around in circles in long grass! Disturbed a rather large bunny in the process and after widening the search area, a cache was found in the more logical spot! 5 metre accuracy today, but I was standing 12 metres away from where the gps wanted me. TNLN SL Thanks for the cache.
After being sick for an entire week and not being able to get any caches i thought i might go and do some.
I made a phone call and invite a friend, who happened to bring the bibles.
Thank you for the cache McKee Clan, this was number 6 for the day.

I received the call from the Shattells to go caching this evening.
So I packed the bibles with all solved puzzles.
We set out for an evening of caches and fun.
This was the fist for the evening. Number five for the evening. TFTC

We'd had a bit of trouble finding number 5 among the rubbish. Thought perhaps we weren't playing with a full deck of cards but this find restored our confidence that we were.

After deciding not to go to town to chase a webcam cache as the traffic was horendous, this area sprung to mind. Apparently it was the coldest August morning in 126 years, but the sun was out by the time I was out and about. Last 2 visits were the hottest caching I had done, chasing FTFs so it was appropriate this was done the extreme opposite weather.
Had brekky at the nearby HJs and loaded up with cheap coffee and hot choc (which ended up making a moccachino to bring with me). It was a beautiful walk, despite the noisy trucks. Even saw a swan. Ended up grabbing a nearby munzee and having a 3km walk with 2 smiley faces and a souvenir to boot. Thanks for the adventure McKee Clan...

Walking back to car after letterbox find.
I only had the letterbox in the GPS but decided to fire up the phone App and there I was near a traditional so why not get another souvenir.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega.
With the weather being forecast to be 17degrees today we decided to take the geobikes for a spin. Fabulous weather and some great areas we got to explore all thanks to your cache McKee Clan
We were lucky enough to see some Black swans and a few other waterbirds as we made our way through the area.

I was in town for work.... again.... so off caching I go with brisal5.... got to love weekends I have previously been here caching many years ago and wasn't as successful as I would have liked, much better today.
Great series, thanks.
Great series, thanks.
mogni was in town yet again for some work. That meant only one thing....caching time. I was half way through Frequent Flier Mach Two, so it was a case of set a course in the general direction of the remaining way-points and collect a few other caches along the way.
After digitally killing off paper we decided to follow this trail backwards for while. But the sun came out and it was so nice with swans and birds that soon we had gone all the way to #1, crossed the road and found swan lake and waded the wetlands walk on the other side! Thanks McKee Clan.
