I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

After attending the nearby event a couple of us headed off to grab a couple of nearby caches. We had been informed that this was still in place, so we headed off for a bit of a looksee and, sure enough, I had the clever cache in my hands in no time at all (accidentally, may I add!) TFTC!

18-Jul-15
Cache is still there, log book is in place. A nice, creative hide. Found whilst attending the nearby event. Thanks!

Headed out this morning towards the Geelong region in order to attend the 4 Months to MEGA Event BBQ. After a great time at the event, I headed out with some others to find some nearby caches. This was the first of them. I did have a little help from a previous finder Big Grin

Thanks to Peanuthugger for the cache. TNLN

The hide is missing its log. A replacement log has been inserted. We left it sitting on the branch as it was found on the ground. I have a photo of where we left it.

23-May-15
We found the hide but there was no log inside. Put in a replacement log but it won't last long in the weather.

After finding your previous camoed bison, I thought I knew what I was looking for... Nearly... Took me a while and reading the hint, bit I eventually laid my hands on the very clever hide. As I was signing the overfull log sheet and wishing I had brought some of my replacement log sheets with me, I spied a plastic container out in the open with what looked like a logbook in it. Hmmmm... On closer inspection I found that some previous cachers who must have not found the hide had placed their own container and logsheets! The cheek! I confiscated this extra cache and used a page from their logs as a replacement log sheet in the true micro cache. Thanks, Peanuthugger.

nice easy find Smile

Found with ease and also extra log. Tftc

22-Mar-15
Found together with Pathfinder24 and Irtek on a sunny day.
Irtek suggested that we did a picnic combined with some geocaching today and both Pathfinder24 and I thought this was a brilliant idea. We had a lovely day in Geelong area enjoying the bay views and some great food, in addition to finding some caches.
After visiting the nearby botanical garden we went looking for this one. We spotted the cache from a distance and got past all the spiderwebs to get to it. We signed the log and put the cache back in its place. The hint did not make sense to us and we think the cache must have been replaced and location changed.
Thanks for the cache Peanuthugger!

How do you fill in a long weekend[?]
Head to Geelong with Mogni and Brisal5 for an event and a few days caching! Cool
All up, I found 141 caches Smile, attended 1 event Cool and had 6 DNFs Sad
We did a few series and enjoyed them, we met Bushfire and enjoyed learning about his considerable knowledge of Geelong's caches and we met Team Autumn and several other interstate teams while having a blast during the Geelong-Opoly 2015 event! [^]
All in all, a fantastic weekend.

Found this cache while participating in the Geelong-Opoly 2015 event. Cool
Even with a previous finder, this took some time to find...doesn't help that i am so short! Wink

Found this one during the geelong opoly event, but logged the wrong cache, so logging this one and deleting our log at the terrain 4.5 which there is no way we could have found in the situation at the time.

This cache was found during the "Geelong-Opoly 2015" event on Saturday March 7th 2015 - either before, during to after the event. A quick find as some other cachers found the monopoly cards. Thanks for the cache Peanuthugger.

Lots of possibilities around here so I let the GPS settle and see if that helped. It did, and the cache was found without any problems thanks Peanuthugger.

Along with; Geelong Playspace, Geelong Botanic Gardens, Geelong Conference Centre, East Geelong Golf Course, Limeburners boat ramp, historic mineral springs and picnic and BBQ facilities we could also add a great spot for Geocaching! We'll definitely stick in a favourite point for this little gem.

Found while caching in the area with some SA friends. This was a well camo'd hide and I was the lucky person to actually see it. I love a cache I can remember vividly a week and a half later... So, a favourite from me. TFTC Peanuthugger.

Headed out with a few other teams during the event.
Thanks Peanuthugger for the hide,

Been a while since I have been to an event at Geelong, so BettyBoo3747 and I collected the deadly treadlies and headed off down the highway - mostly sideways (it was very windy!).
We attended both events, and collected several other caches to fill in our souvenirs.
I would like to say I found this very nice hide on my own, but the truth is we could see a couple (in bright red jumpers) from across the field.
By the time we arrived they had replaced the cache but were looking very sheepish. Smile
Thanks, Robmc.

In Geelong to grab my 7 Souvenirs Smile Lucky for me friends from Adelaide decided to join in the adventure.
A clever hide.
Thanks

09-Aug-14
In Geelong to help Mogni get her seven souvenirs for August, Aussie M&M, Owl and Brisal5 decided they might as well aim to get a second set just in Victoria. This was the first cache and souvenir of the day and it was a good one. Well-constructed and nicely cammoed. Take a favourite point for the effort.

09-Aug-14
BAMO (brisal5, aussie M&M, mogni, Owl) came to Geelong on a mission to collect all 7 souvenirs of August in a day. [B)]. Not only did we achieve this we got 9 different types altogether during a long exhaustive day. Cool My thanks to all the friendly cachers we met and helped us along the way for this result. [:X]
We started by scouting where the event was to be later. Having collected the clues for a multi we grabbed this one on the walk there. A clever hide but it couldn't beat the eagle eyes of Aussie Mary. Smile Thanks Peanuthugger. great hide. Big Grin

# 6590. Robmc and I headed to Geelong today for a couple of events and managed to add an assortment of caches to the day's activities. Our August Souvenirs are now completed as a result.

This was the first one we did after lunch and it was a team effort as several of us made our way to GZ. A quick find was made here, all names added and we sauntered on to the next one.

Thanks Peanuthugger

09-Aug-14
I mosied on over from the event for a look for this one. Despite there being no-one at GZ, there were certainly the marks that people had been around recently. Wink Once at GZ, I had the nicely disguised stash in hand at 13:50.

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Peanuthugger.

09-Aug-14
A very clever hide that just stuck out a bit so to speak. Found after the nearby BBQ event on my way to work. Thanks Peanuthugger.

09-Aug-14
Found after the August BBQ event. So well camouflaged - it did take us a little while to make the find. But totally worth the reward in the end. TFTC.

09-Aug-14
We combined a visit with family to coincide with the 2 events in Geelong. Its been ages since we cached here so we were looking forward to some of the new offerings.
Found during the event in the company of several other cachers during a companionable walk around.

Out for a day of caching with SorceySal. The aim of the day was for SorceySal to find her 1000th cache. I really liked this cache as I appreciate old trees good for climbing and the park is full of them,

Thanks for the cache.

The quest for 1000 today whilst out and about with the Menzies Mob. A nice walk thru the park to GZ where we hunted for a while until the Menziesmob said the magic words. A nicely constructed camo.

Thanks for the cache Peanuthugger

Why did I have to get up so early this morning ?? It was a choice between caching before work, or a nice warm bed. Caching won...Big GrinBig Grin Had me going for quite a while this one. Had a picture in my mind what the hide was going to be, but it was not what I thought. The clever hide was eventually spotted and the log signed. TFTC Peanuthugger. Big GrinBig Grin

What a clever hide, this had me searching for a long time even though the coordinates were pretty accurate, it was just so cleverly camouflaged, well done on a great cache

28-Jun-14
A blustery cold winters day won't hold me back from coming out this way for a spot of caching and stopping here to have a look for this cache which was found with accurate co-ords and in good condition. Eastern Park is a good location....especially for caches. Another find example of a well made cache.

Thanks Peanuthugger for making this an enjoyable day exploring.

Making our way around the gardens here, we wandered up to this lovely large old tree. A neat container, the camo is very effective, but stands out just enough! Thanks to Peanuthugger for the cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1120. Seemed like a god plan to do a few caches in Eastern Park on our way from WWFM XI to Chez GeoJo. Love coming to this park, and we've found quite a few caches here over the years. Found after a short search. We're impressed by the standard of Geelong cache camo work yet again. Our thanks to Peanuthugger.

Another find while in the Eastern Gardens area, gps was a little jumpy but then settled on the GZ and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Smile

29-May-14
We were out and about for work today, and decided to drop past a few caches on the way back to the office.
We knew this area quite well, myself from the last event and previous caches that have been in the area.
We zeroed in on the new GZ and before long was able to spot something that wasn't quite right.
Sure enough we had the cache in hand.
Just about to fill up the first page in the lookbook!

Tanks Peanuthugger for the cache!

19-May-14
It was a nice day for a walk in the park and a chance to nab some remaining caches. Thankfully the coast was clear around this area and the camo was soon spotted and the log signed. Made such good time we thought we would grab another peanuthugger cache. TFTC

18-May-14
Our GPSr had us a short distance away with LOTS of possible hiding spots...for a completely different sort of camo! The geokids had a fantastic time clambering all over this wonderful tree while the grownups widened the search area a little. Careful looking wasn't working and then an accidental fleeting glance at the cache location had it almost jumping out at us!

Thanks Peanuthugger

Found this one during our month long tour of SE Australia. It is our intention to find as many caches as possible during our stay and as a result logistics dictate that this generic log will have to suffice .Hope the cache owners, to whom we extend our gratitude for their efforts, will all understand the reasons for this. All good wishes from us both.

Thanks for the cache Peanuthugger.
