Beautiful area to stop. Caravan was parked close by, but the bank and trees kept me out of view. Tftc

Went out to GZ as we were leaving Peak Hill after an overnight stay
Although the track is still wet in places we soon had the container in our mitts after leaving the car on drier ground and walking the rest of the way

Wow, the water is pumping over the weir! Lots of foam. The cavhe was totally exposed and in a poor state. I hate mint tins!
We did this one the hard way as one seems to when caching, the hard way in the easy way out. Thanks for the eclipse tin, as it is the location that is the bonus of the cache. We have locked this one into the memory banks for a future stop over. SL TFTC
Good spot for a cache.
And to sit and watch the birds etc
Thanks
Not sure why there are hardly any caches in this part of the world.

Started off coming out here for lunch and as we didn't get here till 2:30 ( Qld time ) it was past afternoon smoko b4 we knew it ! Should have gone 4 cache as soon as we pulled up - as locals arrived to use the local swimming spot on this hot day. First lot moved off so I walked to the GZ and located the cache just before the next arrived to use the rope in the trees for a dip.
Signed logbook 6/10/2015 4:30pm and replaced all as found.

What a peaceful riverside location this was today
With light rain falling, I took the short stroll to the weir.
A lone pelican was sitting on the wall, probably hoping for a catch
Cache found, I ran back to the geomobile as the rain began to get heavier [:o]
The weir if overflowing at the moment !1

Had arrived in Peak Hill too late to do the Earthcache so I decided that I would leave the highway and go have a look at this one instead. So glad I did. This really was a surprise and would be a great place to sleep the night and avoid the highway noise of the rest stops provided. Thank you Cruzzzinaround for placing this cache
Today we explored Tullamore and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After doing the earth cache we decided come out here for this one . A nice quiet spot. Quick find TFTC
Nice spot! Thanks for bringing me here. I'll be back to enjoy it another time, with my camera, when I have more time. TFTC
Easy find whilst camping on out way home to vic from the top end. Great spot off the road to spend the night even if the overnight temp was a shock to the system! 8 weeks in the tropical north had made us soft
What a place thanks for directions to it and many thanks for the band around the log
A short detour on my way to Dubbo. A very peaceful location by the river. Located the cache quicker then I could get the log out. I put a band around it to make it easier for the next catcher, thanks.
Interesting place. Quick find with "sesblocker" while in the area for my brother's 40th birthday party. TFTC
Found with 'the neighbs' while in the area for a birthday party. It's a shame there are only 2 caches in Peak Hill as we had all Saturday to kill time before the party! TFTC
A short detour off the Newell to a quick find in a lovely location. It is easy to imaging summer days and nights being passed here.. and a few winters nights as well. Thanks Cruzzzinaround.
FTF woo hoo. Lots of mozzie bites but nice place. TFTC
