This hide was recently compromised and 2 TB's have gone missing in recent months. Thank you to Harrowang for rehiding it last week! The container was retrieved today and will be re-hidden in another location near Benalla under a new cache release.
Visited this TB Hotel to find out how the residents were enjoying their stay. It seems that 4 of them are eager to continue their travels, so we picked them up. Oops! We accidentally took the reception bell too, so maybe the Hotel is closed for the winter. A few of our trackables visited, but decided not to stay. There are two more trackables listed as being in the cache, but seem to have done a midnight flit with a geocacher or two!
Yesterday we walked around the general area with a group of muggles. We decided to save our visit to this hotel for today, when we could approach it undisturbed. We are very glad that we came today. We found the lovely country mansion with quite a few travellers enjoying a holiday here! We 'discovered' the guests, took one under our wings and left one there in exchange. On we went after our brief stay at the resort. Thanks for the invitation!
Another nice quick find nice to get our hands on one that's not a micro ! TFTC
Such a beautiful place for a Resort! A picturesque walk, and a nice easy find. Made a swap. Dropped two travel bugs, and retrieved one. TFTC!
I had a dragon TB in need of a break and this seems like the perfect place in the beautiful bush and music from the market drifting over the water. Tftc
We're on our way to the Mega at Alice Springs .
Sadly no TB'S to move on.
Thanks for placing this cache Team BGF.

Easy find today. Out on a day out with pigwigeon showing. Found a while ago with these guys but I wasn't a premium member . TFTC
I took the wrong path initially, but got there eventually. Unfortunately there were no trackables for me to take, nor did I have any to leave. TFTC.
Geofamily trip to Victoria... Cool!
Mrs Moneydork, Moneydork, sushilord and I left Friday morning for a 4 day jaunt over the border to find a cache or two
Two nights in Wangaratta and then a night in Bendigo left me with 10 DNFs and 205 cache finds one of which was a FTF
Day 3 was Wangaratta to Bendigo as there is a particular wool mill there that geomum loves to visit [^] As with any family, when geo mum is happy... everyone else is [^]
Todays DNFs numbered 1 and the finds numbered 66 with some interesting caches and experiences amongst them.... not the least of them being me falling off of the walk the plank cache At least I found a PT there to make up for the fall
It's a shame that there weren't any TBs in this cool hotel
Great job on the hotel decor

The geofamily are off on another trip to Mexico. Fun, sore backsides (for some) and Dad getting the geomobile stuck and breaking his bike, TWICE were the highlights of the trip. One of the running jokes for the trip was 'If it's 2.5T it's laying on the ground, if it's 2.5D it's under that pile of rocks or in the open, if it's listed as large we are looking for an eclipse tin' which came about due to a number of early finds. The lasting memory from this trip will be the grass seeds!!!
It looks like the guests have left without checking out. I didn't see a trackable in this cache. Since it's been some time since the trackables were placed here I'd say that they have unfortunately gone missing. As the owner of this cache you can mark the trackables as missing. This action will remove them from the cache inventory and place them in the great cache in the sky.
Thanks for the cache Team BGF.

For a little while I thought there was going to be a lot of walking through tall grass, but then I found the right path. Great cache container.
I'd missed the path to this cache on my earlier walk around the lake, so after returning to my accommodation, having breakfast and doing some token work, I headed back out for another walk to pick up this, essential given the number of favourite points.
Lovely loop around, giving plenty of time to reflect on the importance to me of getting out to places I've never been before. Soon enough I was near GZ and the easily located (and awesomely decorated) cache. Sadly empty of TBs, but a delight nonetheless.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

OOPS. actually found it while walking around the lake on a visit to Benalla - on 8/7/16!!!! Forgot to log it - explains why the numbers I have didn't match geocache numbers of finds for me. Like the decoration.
TFTC Team BGF. Nice easy find and a beauty. A thoughtful cache and well placed. Carefully re-camoed on replacement. A fav. Jimmytherat with Noelle04.
Thanks Team BGF a fav for the effort put into the hotel. Great cache, fab walking, beautiful day. Excellent
Thanks for the cache. A good hide and lovely way to finish the queens birthday weekend LS
What a beauty!! Another easy find and retrieval.. Took the tiger tb.

Great place to get away and just relax. It has everything a TB could want. TFTC
Checked this cache today to find no attempt had been made to rehide it! Put it in a new hidey spot at the same coords.
Number 4, well hidden the short offsider swapped a yellow shoe for a set of small screw drivers.

Picked up ella taking her up to mt torbreck and back unless of course we find you a nice stepping stone for your adventure
Out for a stroll with "Old Peg" and found this huge cache deserving of a travel bug
What a good mix of swappables. Felt obliged to leave something other then a plastic toy. Tftc and left something that hopefully finds a decent cacher.
Heading north for a long weekend ,a wonderful snack at the local bakery and still time to grab a few local caches . This was a pleasant walk dodging showers and dog walkers, and the cache was not too far off the track. No traipsing through long wet grass for us!
Swapped TB's and headed on our way.
Thanks and cheers!

Found it on the 5th of July with Aussie joker before we were premium members.
This was my first ever cache!! I really like the big caches.

After attending nearby event, a lovely lunch together, swapped some pathtags, had birthday cake and received presents, took a the longer way home to grab a few more caches.
Required a cache with >10 fav points for Geocaching Road Trip ‘15, and this was it. A nice stroll in the late afternoon and the cache was soon in hand with good coords. Many muggles out walking their dogs, so had to do a bit of photography to disguise our motives.

Last one for today. Can't wait to come back and get the rest of the series!! Left TB the traveling bronco! TFTC!
Spending a few days in Benalla, to do some sight seeing & caching.
Quite a lot of time was spent on the bikes doing the BLS trail,
and then we picked up a few other caches. Took trackable, to move it on.
We were impressed with the quality of the hides, a few trickier than others.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team BGF, for us and others to find.

Another pleasant detour off the main track to find this cosy TB Motel. There are some very old and well, grown red gums in this area which I enjoyed walking through. Left TB TFTC TeamBGF
Picked up the travel bug so we could take it to the Mega Meet QLD only 45 days to go..
Beautiful walk wonderful day Geokids are having a great day, it's nice to get out..

I slept near the Botanical Garden in my camper and in the morning I had a nice 3 hour walk in Benalla.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Visiting Benalla on the way to Sydney, after we checked into our motel, I went in search of geocaches and was not disappointed.
Great hotel but no guests. I rang the bell but reception was unattended !
Thanks Team BGF - Great series.

Third find on my second morning caching on my holiday down south from Qld. I wanted to grab the TBs from this one as none of them and visited my home town. This one is getting a FP from me - one of the best TB motels I have seen. Great hide and TFTC Team BGF
We have been trying to find time to get to Benalla and do this lake series for quite some time, and were happy to finally get here.
We did the series in two sections originally parking on one side of the highway and doing a loop picking up the caches as we went. We found a lot more muggles walking there dogs on this side and had to wait them out on more than one occasion. After this section we moved to the other side and cooked up some sausages and bread to build up the energy supplies before heading out for the rest.
We loved all the hides in the series each was different from the last and there were definitely a few memorable ones along the way.
We had a rather successful day, with only one DNF and one or two that were disabled and we will returned for soon.

Nice job on the camo, lots of travellers, but we didn't take any , left one of our parth tags. TFTC
One of the best paint job's I have seen on a ammo can in a long time. Certainly a fav point for me. I was out caching with my sons while goddaughter and muggle mum where at the ballet in Mansfield. They both loved the cache and where wrapped to have a TB each. I will have to drop by to do more of the series and drop a few tb's off. TFTH and the time and energy that went into this cache .
Long grass hampered our way until we came across the gravel path. Whoops should have read the description!!
Out and about in Benalla caching with chewinprickles.doing the BLS Series. This was an easy find today, but no TB,s in there. Such a large container too.

Nice Hotel. Seemed to have most of the facilities although didn't hang about too long since Geojen had walked ahead so I was trying to catch up.
Suscoe's 23rd find of today as we wandered around Benalla.
The day had turned out to be very warm indeed.
The TB hotel was located and this was a nicely done cache.
Nice bit of work.
Thanks to Team BGF for placing this cache here.
This is a terrific recreational area and it was good to see people enjoying it.

Found with frog_lady on a trip to meet up with the others to do a couple off Ned Kelly caches over the weekend. We left the night before to cache under moonlight. Got to camp, had a nap now back to Benalla to cache
I'm an owner of a TB hotel too. Nicely done! Fav point from me! TFTC

Well done =D I love it. Love TB's & TB Hotels/Motels/Resorts.
Adding a well deserved fav point.
Found with dbelco, sorry for my delayed log.
This was the start of a cache filled couple of days in Kelly country with other Geelong cachers.
Awesome time, will never forget it.
Thanks for bringing us here and all the effort put into the amazing hide.
Cheers and T.F.T.C!

One of 102 caches found today during a big three day cache run, up to and around Kelly country which included Benalla, Tolmie, Beechworth and Glenrowan. A great three days spent exploring and discovering with a fantastic group of fellow cachers, which we collectively called ourselves 'The Kelly Gang'.
Today being Friday, I spent the day caching on my own as I made my way around the conutryside before meeting up with the rest of the gang at our camping spot for the night at Stringy Bark Creek. I had a nice early start, hitting the road before dawn and the sun rose as I made my way through the Great Dividing Range. A perfect day for caching which included some time biking it around Benalla, before heading for Beechworth to find some 'Challenge' caches and some of the HSS series caches, then back south to Stringy Bark Creek for a fantastic camp fire dinner with some great company.
I initally was just going to stop and find a few caches in Benalla before moving on but in the end I stayed for a few hours and rode around this lovely town, managing to find every cache I hadn't yet found. The BLS is a really enjoyable series and I had a great time riding to each location and searching for each cache. Some tricky hides that had me scratching my head and some very clever and well constructed hides as well. Loved the nice big cache here, very colorful and a fav point from me. Thanks.

Nice and easy find, its nice to see large containers are still out there. We had to wait a couple of times as there were Muggles about. Great hide, I rate it 10/10 TFTC.
#328 Had a day off so took Team Three B's, a Muggle and a couple of dogs for a walk around the lake. We had not yet found this one yet even though i'm in the general area three times a week. A beautiful day had us seeing a lot of Muggles out and about. Had to wait out a couple more before putting it back as well. A great container, i love the extra effort that has gone into this, and i laughed with the contents. Unfortunately no trackables to take but i would have just hung on to them for way too long anyway. A favourite from me. TNLN SL TFTC Team BGF.
Had to wait out the muggles using this path and was then able to go in for a quick find. What an awesome TB hotel, brought my geodog TBs but they travel with me. SL #1606 on streak day #814 fav awarded TFTC

Cache not hidden, there is plenty of tree litter available at gz to completely cover this cache, please make every effort to rehide as found.
Found by The Empire @ 11am-ish
My first time around Lake Benalla. What a lovely place! Ohhhhh nice one! Not many trackables inside though. Thanks for the cache, and the series Team BGF.

[:(!] What better way of filling in the day than to do a full day of caching and this was one of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was in hand in a matter of minutes.
I like it

This would have to be the second best TB Hotel I've seen, the other was in Ballarat and was decked out with separate rooms and furniture like a doll's house. This had a better paint job though!
Many thanks and kudos for the great effort,

Found with Team Rubik today on our Benalla Geocaching and Munzee expedition. We always love finding this types of cache containers out in the wild. Great paint job as well. Very pleased to log and find this one. Nice work!
