This one was fun to find and explore under the bridge with the kids. Remember your pen
Found it thanks for the hint about the snake skin under the bridge looked in the grass first> no go!
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19 and major knee surgery, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found.
Currently, we are farm sitting near Rockhampton for three months, so hoping to clear out Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gracement, Gladstone and Mt Morgan!!!
Today after an aborted attempt at getting to see a doctor in Gracemere, we decided instead to beat the almost daily afternoon storm, and find a couple of caches. This was one of two we searched for and found. And got home before the storm.
As I am a bit protective of my new set of knees, I sent my Dangerman down for the find. I was casually looking "busy" as cars swept by me, really not paying me any attention at all. For all they new, I might have lost my toy dog down the creek! Anyway, the call came "got it" so all is good with the cache. We returned to the car, after retrieving 20c for our troubles.
It really is a strange form of activity that brings us to bridges to find eclipse tins! But I suppose it is about the numbers. And as we have a friend in South Australia who is creeping up on us (as at yesterday they were only 8 behind us) we have to go for quantity, not quality.
Thanks for the hide Brooksy Clan

Found with Bryce, Rosalea and Liliana. Careful footing required on loose rocks.
Dont do if rocks are wet or if your medically trained grandparents are nearby
Looked in the grass a lot and eventually went back to look there for the second time and found it.
Of course I parked on the wrong side of the bridge
Which made the scramble to GZ all the more fun
Just don't try my approach when the creek's flowing
Once on the correct bank,
the cache was a quick find
Thanks !!

That took us a while and was very well hidden. The rock on top made it very well hidden. That is a hint by the way;)
Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found quickly even though the GPS was pointing to a spot about 7M away from the bridge. TFTC.
Parked and ducked across and under to this one, a quick search revealed the container Signed log KFAU ( my shorted username ) 11:30 am 14/5/19 and replaced as found, The Brooksy Clan TFTC.

Second time lucky. Took the grandkids with me this time and with the extra help was able to locate. Kids had a great time though did end up a little greasy.
TFTC. We left Calliope River Rest area this morning heading to Barcaldine fro QCOM. Today our finish point was Duaringa. Along the way we stopped and cached where we could find safe parking for the rig. A great day with 10 finds.. Took a bit of a search. Read a couple of logs and then had the cache in hand.
We are heading to Barcaldine to attend the event and selected some caches we could do enroute. This was one we targetted and found. Thankyou The Brooksy Clan for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
En route to Rockhampton
We had an overnight road stop next to a local hotel, enjoyed an evening meal there.
Today we had one cache to stop for on our way. It was a DNF last time but quickly found today.

After starting on the wrong side , we quickly found the grease everyone was talking about ... sneaky hide
We came across your cache, The Brooksy Clan, while picking up a few caches in this area
Nice quick find and all in good order.
Log signed and cache replaced at 2:21 PM on May 27, 2018. TFTC.

After finding ourselves on the wrong side of the water, we skipped across the bridge and ended up honing in on the GZ surprisingly quickly. A bit of clambering and the cache was in our hot little hands! No slippery visitors this day
Good spot! Then i walked under the bridge and was horrified by the noise as i placed my eyes on a huge snake skin and fresh tracks in the dust. Be careful!
Found blue eclipse tin laying on ground. No markings or paperwork. Assumed to be rubbish so taken. Spent 20 minutes searching area DNF
6346 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1100. Had to use some of our tool kit to retrieve the container here. A torch, an extendable hook and time. Once the container had been retrieved it was found the log book was full so placed a new sheet in for the next cacher to sign as well. SL Tnx The Brooksy Clan
Day tripping with the GeoFam. Found by 19PJR79 with Geo_Possum. Looked back at the logs for clues. Be careful on the rocks - TFTC
As a rookie I wonder if I'm jumping the gun here- but- I spent over an hour combing niches and crevices under that bridge - at both ends. I found lots of old bridge bits, some spiders and ants, a lot of brown goop, some nice round stones, a snake skin and it's lively owner - but no cache. Hope it's still there. I'll watch and see if anyone else can find it and then have another crack another day. Cheers.
After a not so fruitful visit to this spot last time I was in Rocky, I had the opportunity to drop by again this morning while heading South. With recent finds compared to the DNFs I was met with last time, I was more hopeful of coming up trumps on this visit... [^]
As I got to GZ, I was greeted with the sticky gooey stuff I quickly recalled from before... Hmm, that's right, I need to take a wide approach to this one...
In the right spot, the container was spotted in plain sight and promptly retrieved. I added my name to the log, then tucked it back in a not quite so obvious place, but within 20cm of where I found it. Not that there's much risk of muggles around here, but better safe than sorry...
Nice to have this one as a smiley.
Cheers Brooksy Clan.

Found after a scramble and almost losing my phone in the river. Nice little spot. Tftc
Not a lot here. Lily pads on the water. Interesting approach today ... caching while riding my unladen sidecar ... verdict? ... not enough hands and the acoustics are lousy ... never again
We are driving to Mackay. Left Nanango at 0530 and after stoping a few times arrived here at 1230. Overnighting in Rockhampton.
Parked very close to GZ as indicated by GPSr and walked down to the Bridge head close to the creek. Went over the pile of rocks very carefully and started my search. This was harder than it should have been. The eclipse tin had been pushed right under one of the bridge head timbers and it was stuck hard in. Took me 5 minutes to very carefully move it so I could push it out. Replaced under same bit of timber but can be removed without any problems as I tried a few times to make sure. Be careful climbing the concrete over the rocks. Not meant for tall people. TFTC Brooksy Clan.

Didn't find it we looked for half an hour although it was our first time geocaching it was difficult that it was under a bridge
Don't know if it's because I'm a newbie or not but I spent approximately 20 minutes looking for this one and didn't find it
Found with Tassiegirl13.
After having spent the weekend visiting friends in Rocky we decided to take a little detour on our way back to Brisbane via this area.
The cache was found easily and our names added to the log.

Found this one today while on our way out to Mt Archer. All in good order here. TFTC
