Blundo Busters I found your cache Magnificent on 10/10/2024, 11:55am. This is my find 7113 and find # 6 today. Found it after a brief poking around. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Twelfth geofind of the day. Now its nightfall. After some fingering / poking, oh little bugs there. Within five minutes, found the cache. TFTC Blundo Busters
Out and about today finding some caches in an area I hadnt been before. After walking through the reserve, I found this and another on the streets. A pen had just exploded in my pocket so I wasnt happy. At GZ, there were many places to search. I got creative, but eventually landed on what would I do and found the cache quickly. Scrawled a OZB very faintly on the log with a dried up pen. Great hide!
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. Thanks Blundo Busters for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
After having found The great Walls of Bunya we walked up to this one. Took an unnecessarily complicated way to get in to GZ, where the cache was found after a fairly quick search. Exited the area through a much easier way.
Took a long time to spot those tell tale obvious signs even though I looked at other obvious things right near by, I missed the other obvious sign. TFTC
Actually was not familiar with this particular U2 song. After parking in one of the nearby side streets, I made my way on foot to GZ. Here, I intially went the wrong way in attempting to access the sculpture. After correcting myself, I then took a few moments to find a path 'in'. Once I'd made my way into the 'inner circle', I was nicely obscured from the passing traffic and it was a surprisingly quick find as the cache was a little bit exposed. After signing the log, I made sure the cache was tucked away a little better in its spot. TFTC!
BB hides are never easy. We had to work out where we needed to be, and then we found it in the third place we looked.. TFTC BB. The 4Rods.

Muggles: None
Weather: Pleasant summer morning
Cache condition: Good
After running the nearby parkrun I explored the local geocaches. It took a bit of time to find the best way to GZ (sorry, spiders), but once there it didn't take too long to get CIH - I first saw something that looked like a common hide type, and while wrong it got me close enough to the actual spot. TNLNSL, thanks for getting me close to this interesting local feature.

I made that a bit more difficult than I needed to! My (wrong) assumption was this was similar to another BB cache I'd found earlier in my caching days, but no, I'd spent too much time talking to Miss Direction and not enough time using my eyes. After returning part of the statue to itself (sorry council!) I made the find. Tftc
Bush bashed our way into GZ and found the container not long after. What a cool sculpture and a great place for a hide. Enjoyed listening to Magnificent on the way home! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Enjoyed finding this cache! Took a while to find GZ but managed to located the area and didn't take long from there to have a "feel" around.

TFTC, wow so many options to where to "feel", lucky enough I felt it in the first attempt.

After completing the AL in Nurrugingy Reserve, I drove over to another part of the parklands for some more caches. After a bit of a struggle I ended up at the artwork and was happy to quickly find the well hidden cache.

Lucky to be able to park very close to GZ!
A circumnavigation of the structure suggested the area we needed to be. Finding a way to that spot was a bit more difficult.
There were several Superb Fairy-wrens in the bushes which we disturbed creating a great deal of noise. I hope the weren't nesting there.
Once near the Magnificent structure I decided a systematic search was the way to go but my caching buddy for the day, EverestHigh just went for it. Well that was the way to go as he got it first place he checked- how lucky and time saving was that!
With the log signed and the cache replaced we tried to take the best way out to least disturb the birds.

Found the trick hide quickly. The rustic structure is magnificent urban art. OCW Jackscruff after event nearby. TFTC Blundo Busters
OCW MavEtJu today as an escape from the everyday and super happy to be out for a walk. Thanks for placing this one Blundo Busters.
It's time for MavEtJu and ziggiau to raid the area. Second lot, between Blacktown Olympic Park and Bunya - TFTC!
Excellent location, excellent placing. TFTC!

Some good and succesfull caching in the Parklands and Quakers Hill area. Had solved a lot of puzzles in preparation and also prepared myself for a lot of bike riding. Just had not counted on the weather not playing. Although mostly cloudy and only a few drops here and there, it was the heavens opening up about half way through the day, only 400 meters from the car but enough to get soaking wet!!

OCW Oldmorty around the Western parklands on a warm day and this was a must for me. What has the CO done here? Walked around poking and searching and then saw it. Love these kinds of hides. TFTC!
Teamed up with marj01 for a days caching, our first outing in a while. The break from caching has sharpened marj01's senses as he was on fire today when it came to finding the hides. TFTC Blundo Busters.
A beautiful morning to be out and about.
It took me a couple of walks around the area before i found the cache but when i noticed something out of the corner of my eye i knew i had it.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

Today we visited the beautifully designed zoo.
The animals have heaps of space and plenty to keep them entertained and places to go to get away from the crowds.
On the way home we found this little green box.
Thank you

Happy to avenge this little blighter! Have been here once before when it was missing today a short search paid off! Tftc blundo!
Happy to replace our DNF with a find for our 3800th find. Once again Blundo another sneaky hide TFTC
Felt a bit guilty about accessing GZ through the garden. Too well hidden for us. TFTH
Initiated a new cacher into the game this morning on a whim ....and she was a complete natural at it. We finally found this little guy, braving a police chopper overhead and sirens screaming past. Looking at the logs (with so many missing names comparing online and the log sheet), I reckon this may be the original container and the replacement is elsewhere there. Will msg the CO with where this one dating back to 2014 was. So close to claiming some unloved months with this one too, but had no patience to wait the extra couple of days to return to search once 6mo had clicked over. TFTC Blundo Busters.
As it turns out the day has been longer than I thought and I'm not prepared to feel where I can't see in the quest for another smile today. After a brief search I surrendered and added this to the "one for another day" list. TFTC this truly is a magnificent public art piece; I just wish it had a path right up to it instead of needing to go through gardens. What were council thinking? :/
**Total find count: 560**
A warm Sunday afternoon to get back into the geocaching swing of things after some downtime from caching. Some relatively easy finds, an avenged cache at muggle central every visit, and some DNF's for the day.
------
There are lots of possible holes at GZ, but a quick scout around revealed nothing, but turning around I saw a tell tale sign of a cache in a similar style to one I have previously found by this CO.

Since November 5th I study Englisch at ILSC for 1 month. On this day I went to the Featherdale wildlife park. After visiting the park I was looking for some caches. Here I found the box after a long search on top Level in a hole.

Took a lot of persistence for my wife and me, this being our first cache together, but we found it eventually! Had some scruples about my search method but turned out to be the correct way to go about it. Overall we had a great experience, almost giving up, but then at last success. Cache is in good condition. Thanks a lot for the cache.
Had to detour from drive home from work to grab this one. Had hoped it would be quick park and grab but took some time. Liked the location and hide. TFTC
Geocache No: 631
Time: 10:45
Condition: Good
Experience: This was our 1st Geocache for the day. We had stopped caching for a long time and decided we really wanted to get back to it and start hitting the find count that we really should be at.
The sweet scent of clearing a previous DNF!!!
We DNF'd on this years ago and now it doesn't even seem that bad.
This cache was easily accessible, easily found and in relatively good condition.
We didn't come up with much of a disturbance and we replaced the cache as found.
Thank you for the cache.

#5100 (3 of 3 today)
Hmmm. I'm after three calendar day finds today, but that means my last grab will be my 5100 milestone.
Tossed up grabbing just the two, and then spotted one near my first find. A previous DNF but I'll take it as a milestone. And if I can't find it I'll pick another for tomorrow.
Well, everything went swimmingly except the muggles at GZ of one find. But in the end the previous DNF (and Milestone) was the easiest find of the day. Go figure.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I'd been here a long time ago, but a quick search had turned up nothing. Yeah, I know I didn't log the DNF.
But now it's milestone time and a **Blundo Busters** cache is not a bad choice. He's the CO providing me with my second most finds.
So parked close and walked to GZ. I'd read a few previous logs so had a better idea of what I needed to do.
Got to my search area and... is that? Yep. Spotted it immediately. A small tell was peeking out of its hidey hole just enough for me to spot it.
Signed and replaced. Interesting sculpture here.
Time for home... or Pokemon.

Eventually felt it but was too far in to grab. Had to resort to the geobike tool box for appropriate tool.
Pretty cool site. Many thanks to the CO ***Blundo Busters*** for establishing and maintaining another regional cache so the rest of us will visit this secret area and enjoy seeking out the hide.

So I had an idea where this cache will be, it was simply eliminating the spots one by one until you find it. Persistence is the key. TFTC.
WOW - what a great hide! I decided to finally take the plunge & try my hand at this BB cache. Quite fitting that I now work at the school opposite this iconic structure (MVAC). Really enjoyed searching for this one in this sunny afternoon ... was a bit worried given quite a few DNF's here. TFTC
We had hoped to be able to find this but it looks like we've hit the limits of team skill here. Tools came out, started feeling and combed to area to the passing interest and alarm of motorists but no luck. We may try this again next time but combing rusty metal and wood sculptures for tiny caches is not our forte. Thanks anyway for the hide!
Couldn't find along with Reverse G and Team Normal. Will come back and try again in the future
We were itching to find caches and not just one or two because we were out of the game for so long. We were really missing the love and enthusiasm we first had back in 2012-2013 and we're finally back into it.
This was the first cache of the day but it was a DNF from us.
With fading light from around 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm, we just couldn't seem to find it with the there GeoKids in tow.
We searched high, we searched low, we should ground and we each bush but in the end, had to call the search off in favour of trying to find some more caches.
Honestly though, I think we ended u[p finishing out caching run at around 9:30 pm.
Blundo Busters, cheers for bringing us here. Even though we didn't end up finding it, it will give us many more hours of fun down the track, I'm sure.

With all BB hides, its very much like watching a coin in the air. You find them in the first 5 mins or not at all. Sadly, this one eluded me today.
That was hard. Damn my pen has run out. Took picture of cache as proof of find
Photo, Thanks.
Photo, Thanks.
Well I thought to myself I need a break from everything. So I packed my bags and headed out the door and headed for nsw/Canberra. And the goal was to find some caches along the way so here we are. Thanks for taking me to this location. TFTC.

I parked nearby and walked around along the main road to the structure, and started searching. I was looking in the wrong spot initially, but then squeezed my way up and through to the appropriate spot. Once there, it was another couple of minutes of feeling until I got it. Nice hide, TFTC!

Having got the idea that this one could be a bit tricky, we carefully read all the logs first and gleaned enough information to narrow the search area down to a manageable size. Then we started a very careful and methodical inspection of the available hiding places with this information in mind. Also reading the hint helped and it did not take very long to bring the cache to light. Once the log was signed the cache was carefully replaced in its sneaky little hiding place. Thank you so much Blundo Busters for a well hidden cache.
After a few DNFs, we poked, poked, poked until sevabo felt something then yay yes it was there oh phew for us! Between 10. TFTH
Interesting sculpture. Guess what!!!! we **found** it after many DNF - Yay!! i poked and poked and poked every pillars and finally feeling it. (Hint: it's in above your head)
Interesting sculpture. Guess what!!!! YAY YAY YAY !!! we found it.... - Take awhile to find it and thanks with Sevabo and Sky jam. TFTC
Well I poked, I prodded, I twisted..................... nope nothing.
Called the CO and even with a very detailed hint, still no luck.
Maybe its gone walkabout.

No luck, are you even meant to be up in here? Suspect how it is hidden just did not like being so exposed to everyone.
You have shown us a new place and increased our experiences of your country and it is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Unfortunately after a good look around we didn't find the cache this time.
Hat a lot if work they have dine here. Went into the main art work. Gardens are there and we were careful not to walk on the plants got to 1m whilst ducking muggles in their cars. No joy will be back
Looks like I'm starting and finishing with a Blundo Busters cache. Driven past this one many times on the way to and from WnW. I look and feel in many places, knowing if I just keep doing so I should make the find, and sure enough I do. TFTCBB. A most enjoyable couple of hours walking around this new suburb, love what they've done with it, love the sculptural pieces, and all the caches. Pleased to get 9 from 9 today.
I searched laboriously and when I finally found it I could not extract it. I had to get some tweezers from the car as I could not overcome the anchoring force without them.
Checked every hidey hole and finally found the prize...
Thank you for the cache

#273 - Geocaching Live for Windows Phone & Garmin eTrex 30
This was the only find for today. After I finished with my last student in Doonside, I drove to this cache. I managed to find parking just around the corner from GZ and proceeded to walk up. I first started at a lower level but after reading some past logs and looking at the app, I realised I needed to go further in at a higher level. I found my way in and noticed all of the possibilities. I starting doing what the hint indicated but the app compass wouldn't settle down so I grabbed the Garmin but it wasn't much better. I kept looking over and over the same spot and once I figured it wasn't in one general area, I tried another approach and was surprised when I finally found the cache. SL. TFTC.

#330..... FINALLY got around to finding this one while out on the pushie today. A beautiful structure. TFTC
Being near the D rating attracted us so we headed over. We parked close and headed in. No need to beat about the bush as we began search the likely zone. After some poking and prodding we made the tricky find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Back into geocaching again with pills123, temp now reached 36 last cache for today now off to Blacktown for a feed at the club. then back to the mountains TFTC
After dicerting off the M7 to collect the nearby souvenir challenge, I did what most finders there seem to have done ... and headed over to this one! Since I haven't been in this part of the world for quite a while, I was a bit surprised to see that a lego-land had popped up here on part of the old OTC site ... I had thought the entire site became part of Western Sydney Parklands. But I must admit I wasn't surprised to see a big, arty farty welcome structure here (every new lego-land seems to have one these days) nor was I surprised to see that it housed a cache!
Conscious of all the gardens surrounding the main structure (and all the vehicles at the traffic lights nearby), I initially searched around the perimeter, but as I did so, my GPS device kept crying out, "Go within!" So, I bit the bullet and headed within. A systematic search of this area then turned up a telltale sign of a cache pretty quickly ... like at least one other recent finder, I used a different sense than the one suggested to find the cache.
Nice one, Blundo Busters ... you did good!

#2877- There is another structure out near Ropes Crossing which had driven me mad- somehow, when I saw this, I thought that it would be just as bad. I'm certain it was more good luck than good management, but I found this one in a few minutes. Thanks
We had come to this area to find the souvenir challenge before heading home, but we needed to turn around and found ourselves right next to this cache. We decided to take a look. We did a bit of probing around with a pen, but like alnic39, I ended up finding it by sight. Thanks.

We were heading home from the new challenge cache nearby, and were told by the car GPS that there was a roundabout here we could turn at. Maps obviously need updating around here, as the roundabout has been replaced by lights. While waiting to turn at the lights, we spotted the cache symbol and decided to stop for it.
Bikerbuddy had a systematic method & found the cache.
Thanks
