Argh!!!! What out for the poisonous thingy. Very clever. Scares the faint hearted! Tftc
On a walk along the path with my son on a cool but fine afternoon, admiring the lovely views. Very clever hide here!TFTC
lol call me an ambo thank you for the catch. great one. great bit of engineering. thank you Danny vk7hdm.
VK7HCH and I were going to go into the Risdon Brook Dam area and find some caches, but today was very windy and the park was closed. We decided on finding a couple of caches up the river and that continued all the way to Tongatabu Rd. We even got out the electric powered cache mobiles. We then turned our attention to the Highway series along Elderslie Rd, picking up Camel Views along the way.In all, I found 16 caches and had a couple of DNFs while HCH found a few more before we parted ways for the day.Loved the engineering of this cache. Favourite point for sure. Thanks for all the finds today.
Having our plans changed by the weather, and having the electromotive means of transport onboard, Swampy and I tackled this series, we found them all, some were most ingenious in their hides. TFTC
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Six: New Norfolk to Hobart Airport and a flight home.
Weather: Chilly morning, sunny day.
Ah, you got me here! I’ve found some caches where this was all too real. A FP for the extra effort in the hide here. Thanks for a fun cache jemmag.
It’s officially a mega.

Today Zozetta and I cached in the Brighton area, with a total of twenty three finds and one DNF.
We started off walking the riverside trail collecting the Derwent views series and one other cache then went up to Brighton and then drove up past Broadmarsh to attempt the highland series before coming back to Brighton to grab a couple of solved puzzles and a few of the Brighton series before grabbing an Earthcache on the way back home.
I’ve been interested in this cache for a while now wondering what it could be and so it was great to finally find out today.
It took us a bit longer than it should to find this one, we didn’t notice what should have been obvious. A very clever hide, yes the name now makes sense.
Favourite point given.

63ROOS take me drive to around hobart and country to find few caches for day... We enjoy it.. tks
Well this certainly is a piece of unnecessary engineering. Like wow what is the pint of it?
Love the cache so obvious but only to geocachers. And as for the little friend in side it certainly made me have a double look. Certainly deserved a fav point

tassietan and I are out caching today (18.12.23) and I realised that I hadn't logged this cache from the last time we were in this area. Sorry.A great cache. Thanks for bringing us here and the fun jemmag.
Having a lovely walk along this Derwent trail with RoadieM today. We are doing the walk backwards so not sure that we are three quarters the way through yet. We certainly needed some shade so rested and located this cache pretty quickly. Very funny! Thanks for the cache Jemmag. A fav point awarded for the fun!
Stayed nearby and it was great to be able to do a few caches close to "home"
Windy but great to be outside for a while.
Have a fav point for this one
Thank you for hiding this cache

We went for a short walk along the river from our Airbnb and made a quick find. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache
Very entertaining installation this one. Gave us a laugh =[) nice Queen’s birthday find.
Walking along this cool track grabbing the DV series in the mild weather whilst it is still mild , i was curious about this one after walking back to get the GeoMobile and parking it nearby this one in order to finish off the rest [^]
I initially was looking at the wrong object wiggling this and twisting that etc. I stopped and looked around to a different area and spotted the hide.
Post find and sign i was still smiling as it was a fun cache and well created [^]

Doing the track including the Derwent views series.
I had to get this over on my way back as there was a muggle in the way at I went past the first time.
My wife would hate that one.

Just discovered a whole bunch of drafts I hadn't logged. Found on a pleasant walk with Mr H and young Yogi dog. Looked on the wrong side of this one for a while.

Have been wanting to do this series of caches for a long time as I drive past a lot for work but never seem to have the time. But today I hope to complete them all. TFTC
Today's caching was to be a bit of a loop round Bridgewater and New Norfolk to collect the new caches that have come out since I was last up this way.
I picked the Goose up at just after 9 and after a few caches on the North side of the river we had a lunch of Pizza at the market before finding a few on th way home, as a bonus there was a new GCA published and we just managed a FTF.
This one was the best of the caches we found along this walking track and it was nice to see something a bit different today, thanks for the cache. Fav point for the 'bonus' item
Found on 12/09/2020 at 11:40:00 AM thanks to Jemmag for placing this cache for me to find.

I was in the area with AlbyDangles 'finding' the new series along this track; and so I took the opportunity to grab this one too.
All's well at GZ.
It's a magic Tassie Spring evening a caching stroll, along a popular track.
Cheers, EPs.

Today we headed off to Launceston for our first post-COVID-lockdown getaway. Having now found most of the caches along the Midland Highway, we elected to take a slightly circuitous route via the Highland Lakes, picking up a few caches along the way.
This was our first for the day, picked up as we began our detour along the "scenic route". We elected to pull off the road immediately adjacent to the cache, and soon discovered a steep and wet grassy bank between us and our objective. Fortunately it turned out to be fairly traversible, and we were soon on the track below.
Immediately there was a landmark that caught our eye, and as we drew closer we noticed a feature that seemed like a likely hiding spot. Turns out we were right on the money - but we were a little surprised by what we found within!
Thank you for an interesting cache in a really picturesque spot! It's unfortunate that we're travelling, or we'd definitely have taken the time to do it properly and walk the entire track. We'll just have to come back another time!

Camping at MT Field for a few days, went for a drive today to grab a few caches while touring about. Quick find of the cache, great hide. I got tooted by a train just coming onto the straight as I crossed the tracks.

Found this one almost straight away and the added bonus of a trackable to collect as well. A quick sign of the log and back on our way waiting on family to get ready. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
While Mr X was training in Brighton I could drive to this point and asended to the bike path. Made the creepy find. Thanks for the enjoyable walk along the lake area. Thanks for the cache Jemmag
Well thanks again Jemmag this little cache in an unnecessary piece of engineering was found very easily thanks to limited hiding places at GZ. If I was suggesting to cachers how to approach this one it would be along the river although the geo trail up to the road looked like another way to access this one. Thanks for a lovely walk during a very quiet Thursday afternoon along the Riverfront. No muggles around and thoroughly enjoyed the wander.
Nice little detour up this way today. Clever hide with a nice vie over the water. Thanks Jemmag
Haha, difficultly two must be the mental challenge to get to the logbook! Loved it, thanks TFTC
We have walked this track before and really wanted to get this cache but it was windy and chilly and the thought of the walk was not something the girl half of Kaatka was keen to do. The male half thinks 10 degrees in 40 whereas the female half thinks 40 degrees is 15. A compromise was made and we decided to attack this cache from the road instead. Was a bit of a downhill clamber and a cross of the railway lines but we soon had a cache in hand. Very cool hide and chilly wind I must say! Great hide and enjoyed the find. Clambered back up to the car and we headed on our way. TFTC.
Mr and Mrs banian's visit to Tasmania for a bit of a look around and a cache or two.
Cache container found quickly, opened carefully, as you do around here, and found a surprise inside.
Signed log, TFTC Jemmag.

A nice walk and some good camo. Amazed how many rabbits were near here this evening. Spotted a large feral black one just by GZ that reminded us of a day trip we had many years ago to Lundy (Island) in UK where there a lots of them! TFTC

Tassie Trip Day 50 - The weather was looking good so a drive was decided to go for a little trip and see what we could see and as usual collect a few caches along the way today we managed to collect 15 smilies and also 2 frowns (DNFs) so it was a really nice day even with the change in weather during the day from find to rain but the rain was only intermittent so it was ok for the day.
After walking to the location and started to look around it was decided to have another look at the description and after a little bit of grey cell thinking the postion of the container was soon found and the usual paperwork carried out and all returned to the condition in which it was found. WATCH THE SPIDER
Thanks Jemmag for showing us this end of the walk its a shame it ended without and escape so back you go.

We took a lovely walk with our dog. He wasn’t much help finding the cache, but we didn’t need his help in the end. TFTC!
Parked up on the side of the road and wandered down the bank. A good hide in something that I haven't got a clue what it was - and a surprise as well!! Deserves a favourite point. TFTC Jemmag
Thanks for the cache Jemmag. This is a great little trail that I didn't know about, and the GeoGSP and I had a great walk here this afternoon with the added bonus of finding a few caches. This is a good one! Cheers.
Parked up above and made my way down. It was only afterwards that I discovered I could have walked that path with the other 2 caches later on. Anyway, I spotted the clue item straight away and the cache was soon found. TFTC.
In Tasmania for 8 mths, staying at New Norfolk for a few days and we just love this area, out and about exploring and finding a few caches. TNLN, TFTC.
Good one. I love the effort and creativity put into these "hidden in plain site" caches. Thanks.
Gotta love this cache!!! It had everything - craftsmanship, a great location on what would be a nice bike ride if it hadn't been so windy, and even a scare factor!!!!
Thanks and a favourite point from us.

...an unnecessary piece of engineering... yet so perfect to be a geocache! Loved the little surprise, too!
Thanks a lot Jemmag for another unusual one that made me smile!

This was last today and one of several caches I did not ever think I would get to. With both Boys in toe, and both walking sticks a path was marked out before a final jump. Cache was spotted and after seeing what was inside I re hid and made smelly belly 8 open, who jumped and punched me.
