Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.

29-Mar-24
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers The Bushies! Big GrinJoin us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!

I passed through the area today and we decided to pull in a collect this one. We didn't have much time so were hoping for a quick park-and-grab. We were very happy to achieve this goal. My son found the cache and I did the duty of signing our name to the log. We replaced everything as found and got back on the road to get to where we were going.

TFTC and the break in the journey.

We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.

The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.

The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.

Thanks to The Bushies for the generation of this nice cache "McForest S.B." (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.

PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.

Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Travelled from Sydney to Jindabyne for the event tonight. Travelled trying to grab a few LGA’s for some Challenges. Can’t say I like the traffic in Sydney. Once out of Sydney had a great run with the highlight doing the caches around Lake George.

Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today. Sorry for the generic logs.

Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

We found the cache container at GZ, but no log so have signed a piece of paper and left it in there.

It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache The Bushies.
