Holy sh#t my finder was not impressed.Funny though.Cache damaged, maintenance required.
We initially were looking in the wrong tree due to a photo from a previous log - ‘twas a red herring though! The GOS was all over the place so we used our noggin to find other suitable trees with nooks - and came up trumps ???? TFTC
Decided it was time to get away from the city for the day. So we headed for the hills to grab some cache!
Touched base with Tiger777 this morning to get out of the house for some caching. We were on our way out to Darlington and pulled off Ridge Hill Rd briefly to see if there were caches nearby, when I noticed there was an FTF in Carmel. We quickly changed plans and met up with others in Carmel once we got there.
Nice quick find of the cache. No container, just the lid and ziplock bag tucked under the friendly animal. Cheers Fernandogirls!

Come up to the Roleystone bush to find a recently published cache and ended up pulling out the mountain bike where I raced around the trails.
Normally when I see a cache like this I throw a stick near it , but today I was certain I was safe.
Morgo the geo found LOWER THAN A SNAKES BELLY today and had a great time.

4th find on a mountain bike ride from Kalamunda out to Pickering Brook and back on the newly-signposted trails. Quickly spotted. As mentioned before it's just a log book with a bit of scary cover. TFTC!
Cache is in need of TLC - found remanence of old log and plastic bag - signed and returned where we thought it should go. Sorry we didn't have much on us today as we were on a caching hunt spur of the moment, looking for a cool place to hide ! TFTC Fernandogirls!
Catching up with some late logs, sorry for the generic spiel.
Out with Team Barritts, tftc!

We found the top of the container but no log book or base.
We placed it back where it probably should be and put a new log in a zip lock bag underneath it.
It just need a small container to put the bag into but we had left them all home so could not help on that front.
Coordinates had us looking everywhere but we think that was the trees not necessarily the accuracy.
The cache was within 4m of the track but we checked out trees from the road to the corner, the best part of a 15m circle before we found the cache remnants.
It should be OK but a new container would make it perfect again.

Found this one out in the open. Stashed it where it was probably meant to be, but CO might need to have a check in.
Great little cache. Enjoyed a walk with the geofam and geodog. The surprise was a cool idea!
Found this with out the container - as its a special kind I didnt have an exact match but had a lil one big enough for the log to stay dry in. TFTC
The container is gone, the lid is still there, the log and all the little things for trading. Had a look around but can’t find the container near where the lid was.
Sunday morning bushvwalk with the brother and geodog.
Cache looked like it had been fiddled with. Found bits of it scattered around. Put it back together where we thought it should be. Unable to sign log as soaked through.

With the kids school not starting until Wednesday I decided on a caching day in the hills would be a great way to spend such a glorious day.
Eighth find of the day. Soon spotted the interesting camo. TFTC.

Out for an day if geocaching on the bike for a change, and it was safe to say I had a blast! So many trails to ride up here!
Had to wait for a young man on a motorbike to ride off before grabbing this one. TFTC!

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.
We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.
We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some of KrabiBoys DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache. We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.
Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.
We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.
TFTC Fernandogirls.
Fernandogirls, I found your cache LOWER THAN A SNAKES BELLY on 7/07/2016.

Well the footy is over and we still had some caches to find and a day planned with Me&B and m4yb, so instead of doing the really scary snake area we decided on this little group. Drove the GeoJazz to the parking spot and met up with Me&B headed to this one to complete and anticlockwise circuit.
M4yb made the scary find here.
A great camo here and a clever hide TFTC Fernandogirls

I made the find here, our 5th of our pleasant Carmel walk, glad to see the cache title so I did not get a fright.
Enjoying finding some great caches by this CO.

Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
For the first part of the day I parked the car and walked around in the bush. The challenge was more to find the right track to get to the next hide. The wide variety of hides kept me smiling on the way.
Quick find here on the hide which looked as I expected, TFTH.

You Girls + Mum and Dad are hilarious and bit scary. Thanks for your efforts Fernandogirls.
Headed back up to the hills this afternoon to get my daily caching fix and keep the days rolling on. Had a go at four and got four smileys without too much trouble on all bar one.
Spotted this one quite quickly, another great container. Some kids on a mini bike came past as I was signing the log, I don't think they were too interested in what I was doing though.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Busselton at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2015' event. Registrations now open.

I had a few hours to kill before the rest of the family woke up so I headed out to the hills just before dawn to see how many caches I could find until I got the hurry-up call to get home. Very peaceful, still morning. Saw many kangaroos, several large lizards and I was almost run over by about a dozen mountain bikers. Such a great area to explore. Even with the specific hint included, this one took some time for me to work out exactly how it was hidden. The MTB crew is really making an impression out on the roads now. TFTC Fernandogirls
In the hills today finding a few caches, we decided to concentrate on finding the little treasures in this area... We wondered what this one would be, & had a bit of a chuckle when the prize was found Master 3 liked this one & was most upset when it was time to put it back!

Out and about on a lovely Saturday Afternoon, quick find here after a nice walk along the path. Thanks for the hide.
Another nice quick find here, mainly because it was quite exposed. Tried to cover it better when replacing.
Thanks again, Fernandogirls.
Thanks again, Fernandogirls.
I was on a maintenance run to the hills to check on my cache 'What do cachers do all day' and used the excuse to find a few caches whilst up there. This cache was one of them. TFTC.
Drove by and noticed the rangers are burning off close by- arrived and disappointed to see cache was in the open and contents everywhere so have to put in new log. Will pop little guy back when burn has been finished.
Geoson found this while I got the car. He left the keys in it. liked the red thing.
Out exploring with K.B. and we stopped at this cache during our travels. Thanks for the cache.
I found a similar style of cache yesterday - just a different colour. Great to clean up the caches in the area....until the easter cache was published once I'd alreaded headed back to Canning Rd. Thanks Fernandogirls.
Up in the hills again today with Chwiliwr and his Better Half. She and I hadn't been to this one, so made the surprising hide on our own. Thanks Fernandogirls
We really enjoyed our day out in Kalamunda and a big part of this is due to the Fernandogirls caches, thanks girls.
Found during a pleasant days caching with Mrs Ooh Yeh. A pleasantly warm day. 23 caches found in total - including a FTF and Ooh Yeh found her 4000th cache. I loved the scenery as we drove around. SL TFTC Fernandogirls
I decided to head out to the Lesmurdie area and pick up a few caches as i havent done any caching in that area before. I left early to try and beat the heat but it seemed to get hot quite early today.
I didnt do too bad as i found 14 caches in 2 hours with only 1 DNF.
With good descriptions all the caches were found quite quickly and it was good to see a variety of cache containers. TFTC Fernandogirls Camo has come off container and needs to be reglued

Found without problems as it was fully exposed. It seems the leaf litter will not stay on top of this cache. We also tried to make it better hidden with a lot of leaf litter.
Thanks Fernandogirls for the cache.

I was in this area for the first time today and I had about 30 caches on the to-do list. I was able to find all but one and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality and creativity of the hides around here
A nice easy find with a neat camo. Cache was a little exposed so I put some more leaf litter on it. TFTC Fernandogirls

Another cool cache. GPS was doing a lot of bouncing around but in the end we actually saw it because it was pretty exposed. TFTC.
this while took us the longest to find but it was a cool cache found it with geojake21 tftc
