We went and looked for this yesterday and could not find it. My father that I used to visit often in Napier just passed away, so I am archiving. I would have continued it if I had found the container, but I could not see it at all (sorry about the trackable). I don't have a reason to keep going over to HB now.
Evidence of recent groudwork around lollipops. May have been cleaned up. CO needs to check this out.
In town off cruise ship Sea Princess from OZ. Our second time caching in Napier and our third visit.
No luck today.
No luck today.
Had a look, then two muggles came and sat on the seat and we had to wait until our return walk for an undisturbed search.
Spent several minutes looking for this one between people going past but got it in the end
Haha ...spend ages here yesterday .... under several bushes ....miserable weather so got jacket and jeans all muddy and was hungry from long drive from Auckland ... Last night had a look at logs with Ric's clever insight and came back determined today ,,,and sat and peered in correct place and there it was !,,,,,
looked hi looked low. a very good hide under everyones noses dropped a tb as it is a good safe spot.
Spent some time on this one & just as I was giving up I spotted it from the corner of my eye

Spending a couple of days in Napier and Hastings with the main aim being to get CANZ.
We did like the hint. Very cool. Muggle central this afternoon though.
Had to wait quite a while for a group of teenage girls to finish taking selfies very close to where we were waiting to hunt. Once they moved on Mrs S peered and spotted it but we had to wait for more muggles to move away before making the grab. Signed and replaced quickly to escape yet more approaching muggles.
Thanks Swaybars69. Another smilie in Napier.

We found it quickly while passing on our way to Wellington. Greetings from Germany and TFTC.
Great hiding spot! Lovely spot, been here many times while visiting family in Napier. TFTC!
Took a walk in the rain today while visiting Napier. Found on a different plane than expected. No trackables. Nice hide thanks for the cache. Took a photo of Mrs nzkites with her stealth umbrella.
Came twice, looked at various possible places.
Couldn't find it.
Wondered if it was muggeld.
Said hello to Pania of course.

What do you do when you find you have a surprisingly free weekend.... Plan a caching weekend away of course! After loading up the car very full, Tommygun9, Veebee001, yuyito_lindo and I headed off to Havelock North for the weekend to collect some caches and enjoy the sites.
Had fun wandering along the waterfront here

Very surprised to find this one, thought it would be in a slightly different location.
This is probably the furtherest east cache in NZ that's easily accessible, without going much further up around the coast (towards Gisborne) or south (admittedly not too far but it is out the way for us) so I'm pretty stoked to have grabbed this one.

Geocaching with a hangover! Awesome! Bending done to retrieve a cache, not so much fun. TFTC.
Over to Napier to see the sights and of course, do some caching . Thanks to all for the great caches . Lots of caches in the US, come see us!
Caching with Whitehouse4U today on a trip from Tangari over to Hawkes Bay. We did a few and enjoyed the views. TFTC.
This was a very early start to the day so as a bonus I got to get a few caches before my two meetings that had been called at short notice before the long drive home.
This was the forth cache that I collected as it had been many years since I had stopped by here. I hope the cache lasts here as it was nearly on the ground when I found it. replaced it better
Thanks for the placement

Continuing with the winter series of caching, and now for the shortest day of the year plus 1.
Mucking about in the Bay.
Cache find proved to be straightforward, all in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden. Just as you do.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Had to come back later for this one. A bunch of muggles were sat in front of the gz. Thanks for the cache
Sometimes it just takes longer than it has to. That was one of those caches, but got it finally. TFTC
Easy find with some Czech helpers. The place was cordoned off as t looks like they are putting new pathways down and this meant a muggle free search. A couple of trackables were living here today which I left alone but I added a coin to be moved on.
Edit: coin drop

Woohoo. I'm an Australian tourist and very excited to find some international caches
Found on our second attempt. A great spot to sit with a bit to eat and watch the world go by. Thanks.
A quick easy find once we found the right co-ordinates and sat down. Always good to have kids with you at caches like this. TFTC
We were initially put off by the no access signs but they were just draining and cleaning the fountain. Easy find. Thanks for the history. TNLN.
