Logs

29-Aug-15
I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]This cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention, therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
The guidelines advise; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235

Please respond to this situation within 28 days to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Looked high and low and everything in between. Went and had a cuppa at one of the neighbours, roped their son into helping us look again but still no luck. Hopefully we'll find it one day

12-Jan-15
We spent a lot of time looking for this cache but in the end we have to say DNF.
This is the second time so will have to go another time again. Thanks anyway.

CO checked the cache. It is snug and safe.

Even though the last log was a DNF I still went to have a look because I had micheena with me so thought if it was still there we'd find it. Alas no cache, we did find where, and how it should've been attached though.

23-Oct-14
Stopped by here today on a very hot day...but after searching around for 10 mins or so...in almost full view of the nearby houses...I called it quits.

12-Oct-14
Despite a decent look we failed to find this cache.
We were here at 13:16hrs on 12/10/2014

Thanks anyway Angus88. Thanks Roostaman for the fun afternoon.

Nice little park. Timed it right, local kids arrived as I was leaving.

28-Sep-14
Thanks

28-Sep-14
Nice quiet part of town... Bellarat sniffed it out in short order. Log a bit damp but workable, dried it in the sun for a while before signing as the kids played in the park. TFTC w/nest12

17-Sep-14
Bit hard in the wind as it makes iPhone GPS go CraZy & being so dark didn't help either!... I'll be back for this one though! Neutral

14-Sep-14
Tried to find this one in the dark armed with torches but no luck tonight, thanks anyway.

27-Aug-14
I have to agree with previous log. Our GPS was putting us far too close to private property for us to feel comfortable searching.

We've found 22 of the "difficult" caches around the area today but left this GZ undisturbed.

24-Aug-14
Visited by CO. Cache is in place.

23-Aug-14
Had a quick look. But could not find it. Had a nice chat to the muggle neighbours who thought we were casing out the joint.

16-Aug-14
Thanks for getting this one going again such a nice quiet spot

14-Aug-14
This cache has been replaced and after being muggled rather quickly, has been moved to a safer location within the park area.

Coordinates changed from:
S 36° 21.278 E 145° 21.857

Coordinates changed to:
S 36° 21.274 E 145° 21.847

Distance from original: 54.4 feet or 16.6 meters.
Due to relatively quick muggling, this cache has been moved to safer ground [ground???], well location anyway.

20-Jul-14
Missing. CO will replace very soon.

20-Jul-14
Didnt find. Looked everywhere think cache is missing:(

06-Jul-14
Found a golf bucket but no catche

27-Jun-14
Failed to find. Did find a note on red paper blowing around playground from cache. suspect this means cache has been compromised.

01-Jun-14
I took my son Lachie for a drive this morning but found the playground too wet for him to enjoy. Instead I opted for a quick cache before heading to the shops to buy dinner. I shall have to return for a swing and a slide when the weather improves.

Thanks.

A quick find after ignoring the GPS and widening the search area to a more likely spot TFTC Angus88

24-May-14
Was looking for a nice easy one as it was getting late and i should have been driving home. The thought was whilst in Shepparton i should pick up a cache. Well i got here with out an issue and as it was dark i went to the obvious spots and had it in hand in no time. Back to the car to sign the log when i hear from up the street a group of teenagers heading down the road. In the car signing the log and then then look up in time to see the teenagers go and mull around ground zero..... oh no. After a couple of minutes I figure they weren't going away anytime soon, i decided to go and grab some dinner and try my luck later. Lucky for me and the next finders the coast was clear...whew, tragedy averted. TNLN SL TFTC Angus88

Quick find without using the exact coordinates. Our 100th! Smile TFTC

05-Apr-14
Second time lucky. And yep co-ordinates in the middle of the grass..after widening the search..success!

02-Apr-14
Second visit to this spot with my hubby, last time it was pouring rain and my gps was out of whack. This time with new maps in my iPad it led us straight to the spot but I needed my hubby to retrieve it for me. I love this new sport of geocaching I am finding all sorts of places in our local area we did not know existed.

02-Apr-14
As with previous logs, GPS had me in the middle of the lawn. Found eventually using the process of elimination through all the likely nearby spots...

01-Mar-14
Another quick find. TFTC SL

17-Feb-14
Both my gps and phone had me stranded in the middle of the lawn with no possible hiding places within metres. Checked out both likely and unlikely hiding places but no luck. Where cover exists it is difficult to then know if it is on private property or part of the park as there is no clearly delineated boundary. Sad that this is so difficult to find or has it been muggled

16-Feb-14
We were visiting one of the neighbours and decided to check the app, only to find a cache next door. Straight into the park we went to find it. GPS and phone both wanted us in the middle of the grass with not a hiding spot to be found. Check a few possible spots, but could not lay our hands on it. Will try again another day.

16-Feb-14
I was disappointed that I couldn't find this easy cache - even with my geocaching-experienced friend. My GPS had me in the centre of the grassy area and no hiding place within coo-ee. This was my second no-find visit. The first visit (unlogged) was cut short by a neighbour with dog who wanted to warn me that snakes had been seen in the area. On today's visit I noticed that a lot of the fallen debris had been cleared away from the leafy boundary.

13-Feb-14
A nice quick find on the way home from Shepparton. Good to see there are still a few new ones being put out there. TFTC

sitting at home wearing out the tv remote when I got the notification for this one, looked at the map knew the location, decided to give the ftf a crack... after a quick drive to the other end of town I arrived at gz to thankfully find it dark and empty (yeah who else would be in a park at 10pm) coordinates were right on mark easy find. nice to see some new activity town, look foward to seeing more of your caches

thanks for the cache
