C62 suggested I try this cache while in the area. After a good search, no luck. A quick read of logs showed some DNFs. Another was to be added. Would the CO please check this cache & advise if it has indeed been muggled.
I'm a past finder of this hide but as I was in the area with Geotooter, I thought this one would be a good one for him to grab. We both searched but had no luck. Due to the DNF logs, this one needs some owner intervention to determine its status.
Another dnf for today, that's 3 and getting frustrated. Nobody around so had plenty of time to search .
Not my day today. Can't find either caches in here. Have to try another day. Had a lovely lunch in the woods with master Q so a great time anyway:)
Today I was doing a run out to VK2WI, the official broadcast station of Amateur Radio NSW (HAM radio) at Quarry Road Dural, and thought I would pick up a few caches along the way. Stopped off on the way back home for this one. This was the 7th find of the day.
After finding "Micro Volt - Take 2" I drove the short distance, down through the Cumberland State Forest, to this one. Parked the geomobile in the picnic ground's parking bay, and then headed down to GZ. And a quick search, as per the handy hint, soon had CIH. TNLNSL and then replaced as found. TFTC.

Find #989
Out with Team Merlin to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. Looking today to add to our team as we work towards to defeat the Evil Nemesis #2. As Thor has been inside the cache Logging in the Forest for awhile on our watch list.
With coordinates in hand we set off to find the cache Logging in the Forest.
We parked the car close to the indicated coordinates of the cache. No on foot we walked over towards GZ. Looking at GZ for all possible hide locations. We quickly spotted the likely hide. With the
cache in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found.
With the purpose of finding the TB Thor contained with in but this was not possible for us today. As unfortunately the TB has left the cache with out notice. This is a sad day for the fight to defeat Evil Nemesis #2 Both the log and cache container are in good condition.

We did not discover the TB Thor as it was not in the cache container.

Out with JJCC for an afternoon cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. Our main aim today was to recruit a new member (in the form of a TB) into our team to defeat the Evil Nemesis #2 who has been seen within the Hills.
Coming from the Castle Hill end of Castle Hill Road we decided to drive down Coonara Avenue and enter the Cumberland State Forest from the Oratava Avenue entry. Driving through the Forest we ended up finding a parking spot not too far away from the posted coordinates of the cache. With nobody else in this section of the park, we walked over towards GZ and stood there looking for potential hide locations. Turning around we immediately spotted the hide and given the rain from yesterday, the hide location was still dry. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found.
Our main aim today was to discover the trackable Thor which is listed as being in the cache. Unfortunately it looks like he may of been muggled with the last log entry on the TB dated 17/11/2015 by Team Lego Men.
TNLN. One TB visited - Vanlith The Youngling.

TFTC,
Heading out to Glenhaven for the Riley Car clup 60th Anniversary lunch and picking a few caches up along the way.
Visited trackables.

In the area decided to pick-up some caches along the way. Picked up a couple of logs, before locating the cache. Thanks to NaxxoR.
A quick and easy find whilst visiting my children in Sydney. TFTC. SL.
Great spot. So close to civilisation but seems like the middle of nowhere. Nice to hear a chainsaw humming away close by. Very appropriate.
No luck for the hunters today! I thought I saw some suspiciously placed bark that may have once been camo, but nothing underneath. The previous snapshots of GZ make me think we were on the right spot, too. Cache may have been snaffled.
What a great location for a cache. I didn't expect there to be so many birds. I must come back and do the walking trails someday. TFTC.
I had to wait a little while for an annoying muggle to leave but after that it was a quick find. TFTC!
Super easy to find. Barely covered and not really under anything. I'm surprised this hasn't been discarded in the clean up of all the dead wood that has been bundled up in this area. Looks like the forestry people are doing a tidy up.
Dropped by again to pick up details I needed for evil nemesis. I'm sure that cache has moved a bit since I last found it. Thanks for dropping Thor off martin cousins.

Easy find. I didn't think there were any in the forest but checked just in case, and lucky I did. Just a quick dog walk today but will find the others later.
My three year old son found it by chance, much to the annoyance of his 10 year old and 5 year older brothers
I happened to be in this part of the world this afternoon with a bit of time to spare ... the perfect opportunity to grab a few quickie finds. When I saw there were a couple in Cumberland State Forest, a place I haven't ever been, the decision on where to head was an easy one.
This was a pretty straightforward find, although initially my GPS was pointing me to an area that didn't mach the terrain rating. So I ignored the GPS and went where my geosenses said to go, and made a quick find. However, there was no logsheet in the container but as I had a spare in the car, that problem is no longer a problem. The stash note is, however, a pulpy mess and will need to be replaced.
Thanks for the cache, NazzoR, and for the smiley.

Nice quick find. We left a South African coin. Some maintenance is required as the container was full of water and the log and other contents need to be replaced and we dont have spares with us today. Thanks for placing it.
Chatting to some picnickers, then headed downhill. The GPS wanted to keep going into the bush but I thought I'd check the geocache at my feet first. It was well exposed, just waiting to be muggled. I left it with a bit of light cover. &!##@< huge black ants here! Went for a wander down to the impressive hoop pines for some calming moments before hitting the road again. Thanks NazzoR.
Found it!! Really Easy but still hidden from plain sight. A bit from the road and benches but still close enough to get some looks!
Found it as I stepped out of the car. The cache wasn't covered well enough at the time. Didn't matter in the end as no one else was there.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Not too hard to find. Looks like we are at the end of the log so might need to be replaced
Such a lovely area to look for a cache. Out for a walk. Check log sheet as it was damp and nearly full.
Plenty of logs to search amounts, signed a damp log sheet which is fast running out of signing space.nice hide NazzoR
Enjoyable search on an overcast and cold but dry winter afternoon. First one we've found where the kids could take and replace something from the cache, so they're happy!
A really nice forest which we had not visited before. A few muggles around, but mainly very quiet.
The cache was quickly found, could be seen from a distance. We hid it a little better.

Great to visit CSF again - we used to walk here 3 or 4 times a week with geodog when we lived in WPH. The tracks and road mean you can walk in the bush without actually walking in the bush during tick season.
Plenty of other dog walkers this morning but no problem finding the cache.
SL, slightly damp but the ziplock bag is completely dry??????
The listed trackable is not in the cache.

Nice obvious one. Found when taking geopup and geodad for a walk. Beautiful scenery brought back good memories - I once had a birthday party here. TFTC!
Edit: log may need some maintenance - it was a bit waterlogged.

A visit to this forest was long overdue. And when I read that geodoggies were welcome it became the ideal spot for an afternoon walk. At GZ I walked past then spotted the hiding spot on the way back. I positioned geodoggie to sit between me and a nearby muggle so I could sign without being spotted. TFTC NazzoR
Passing by and this looked like a short detour for a quick park and grab. Parked close and then saw some likely camo in the first spot we looked. Cache is in good condition. Nice spot for a cache. W must come back another day for some walks. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
