Reperio 08:24Day 4 of my little escapade to Albury for the weekend, and having camped the night in Wagga Wagga, it was time to head home to Orange. Searched all around the hint location to no avail, but instead knocked off a few wasps nests that were developing. Eventually ended up finding the cache hidden away from the obvious structure.Gratias The Farmers 5As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Found after expanding the search. Was sitting in the open so I have tucked it in for more cover
Looked and looked and looked and looked and couldnt find. Then read previous loggers comments and found it. TFTC.
Today we explored Temora and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to all CO's for your cache placement.
Home today from our setting off north trip with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Temora, picked up a few caches we had missed, and headed back to Beechworth.
Another lovely blue sky and sunny day.
Interesting information on the noticeboards. We spent a bit of time reading it all (after we had signed the cache of course!).
Thanks, Robmc.

#21237. Day 8 of our escape into NSW. Heading home today with several detours to pick up some outlying caches on the way. Wished we could have stayed longer in Temora to see some airplane action in the skies but alas it will have to be another time. More glorious weather this side of the border but foggy at The Rock and cold back in Beechworth.
Amazing how these once thriving communities disappear once the gold disappears. Was surprised to read there was quite a village around the little church. Took a little while to locate the cache as the GPSr was reading GZ as outside the gates but with the hint we changed tactics. Interesting place here with good information boards.
Thanks The Farmers 5

A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Looks like a good sized community hall. Nice.

Thanks farmers 5 for directing us to this place. We may never have found out about the gold and the Bushrangers without it, and the spectacular hall. TFTC
After working out our error using Waze yesterday we visited again today. How did we miss that !
Great story board. Loving Junee
Thanks The Farmers 5 for bring us on this tour. Wait we need to do St. Johns!

Found at 10:11 AM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
It's always fascinating to learn about old towns that have totally disappeared from sight. Hard to imagine that there were 4,000 people living and working around here.
The sneaky cache was found after a tour of the structure.

The building and monument look well kept. I spotted a tell-tail clue and found the cache. Log is almost full. (Sorry, if I knew whose cache this was I would have replaced it, as I had your new logs). TFTC The Farmers 5.
Stretching the legs after lock-down so decided to head off and grab a cache or two. A quick grab here today with Just a cacher.

Cache found to be all in good order. Was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache!
Was bird banding near West Wyalong but it was a very quiet weekend so we headed off early. Did cache maintenance on a couple of local caches I own, got a coffee and looked for wildlife at the Wyalong wetlands before heading home. With the time I had I could get a few caches so the route was slightly longer via Temora. Turned out to be a TB day so traded a few which was nice.
Continued down Church Lane and into the well maintained hall at Junee Reefs - the locals certainly are very neat. Reading logs was expecting a long search, but looked up at the hint and saw an obvious sign and the cache was quickly in hand. Camo is starting to come off and log is nearly full - tried to add another but too small for two so left as is. Returned as found and on my way.

Found while visiting the area Thanks for the cache Soon needs new log sheet otherwise all good Cheers
Hard to find but still there. Agree with others that the GPS is out but clues helped.
At first we headed to where our GPS indicated gz should be but a thorough search produced nothing. Then we read the hint and headed off to the info board. Our search only produced 2 velcro circles on the top rail of the board. On checking our gps indicated we were 14m away from gz.
We read a few logs that indicated we were in the right spot but no cache was found so a DNF for us today.

Just going through my phone app and found this one and some others hiding in my draft. Sorry it has not been logged before this.

Was seriously wondering if this was still here after the last log I looked at was back in October '17. A quick check on the phone (yes, there was a signal here!) showed Wilbert76 was here four days ago so I did rethink. The co-ords, according to the GPS were about 14m out and according to the phone 20m. I wondered if 'the hint' had been moved? Anyway, had to get the trusty step to reach this one - it is there! Great history, yet again, but what a shame the "Tribute of Honor" couldn't have been "Tribute of Honour" - baaah! Australian history, not American!
Early morning caching in and around Temora. Beautiful weather, but it seems its going to be anotber hot one. All caches found straight forward, thanks for putting them out there!

Just coming on dark nearly missed it.. Thought it was mugged because of velcro tabs on top but was still there
TFTC. Quick find. Saw some new lambs feeding from mum which was a beautiful sight on the road to this cache. Thankyou for bringing us here.
Today i visit the SimpsonFamliy15 and we went for a little caching tour around their home The way to the cache was really nice in the sunset. The Gps was not so helpful as the hint. Thank The Farmers 5 for my number 260 ! Lovely greetings from the german explorer turtle
On the way to Temora for a couple days out this morning to pick up a few caches. TFTC
Gotcha! Now we have all the caches close to Junee. This was a nice easy find too. Tftc
A little detour on our Coota-Young-Temora-Junee-Coota circuit but well worth it. An interesting place. TFTC The Farmers 5.
Plans were made with one of the FurfacesLL ladies to do a country drive through some towns in a big loop and clean out a few areas. Main targets of the day were Cootamundra and Junee
We had plans to leave at a certain time, however, I foiled those plans when I woke up late, however we still left at a reasonable hour [:p]
After cleaning out Junee, we noticed this one on the map, how did we miss that one!! Route was changed and backtracking occurred. Once we arrived, the GPSr's jumped around a little however we soon spotted the obvious location and revealed a cache. Logging duties conducted and off we went to the next random one.

The day had come to head out on another geomissin with Rapidlywild, weather was awesome so what better way to spend a Saturday then go caching out in the country side.
Bit of a detour to this one as somehow we missed it.
Came up with the goods and on our way again.

Ynnbub and I went for a drive to grab a few caches that we hadn't got yet, some smiles and a sad face. This was our last stop on the wayback home a different way than usual so quite interesting. We got to location and were a little stumped when all of a sudden I spotted a familiar sign, called over ynnbub and she spotted it, nice hide. TFTC it was good to find another one of your caches The Farmers 5
One last stop on the way home with Darzee Di. Reading the hint showed my to not rely on my gps this time as it led me way off! TFTC
Found while exploring the area. My GPS kept telling me places many metres away.

I've been meaning to do this one for ages. It was the closest to home I hadn't done yet (Temora). Lovely spot. Thank you for the cache. SMT2666
Found 5:23 pm with LuckyL10n. We were on a caching run with LuckyL10n's wife and a friend of hers. We were out to snag GC and GCA caches. Since we were passing this cache and was right nearby we might as well do this one. Wasn't too difficult to find with LuckyL10n spotting it's hidey spot The find completed and signed the log and cache replaced as found. Seems like some interesting history here. Grabbed a photo or two.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
#3429 - 17:25; I had sown the seed yesterday with the geohoney that we should go for a Sunday drive through the local countryside and perhaps collect a cache or two along the way. An itinerary was then hastily arranged and the geohoney's friend and MrDamage confirmed for the tour. We had made our way from Yass, through Rye Park to Boorowa and on to Young. After a stop in Young for lunch we headed off for Temora via Wombat, Wallendbeen and Stockinbingal. We were now headed on the homeward leg from Temora to Bethungra, Cootamundra and Harden. Sticking to the roads less travelled, we were passing GZ for this cache and decided to stop. An interesting hall and memorial for sure. Once the geomobile was parked, it was a short stroll to GZ for a quick find and sign before we continued on our journey towards home. TFTC The Farmers 5
4300. A short detour from the main drag and I was soon reading the sign. A few laps later and I spotted the container. Log signed and I was one my way again.
Thanks for the cache and the history lesson.

Found on way home with a load of licorice & chocolate after visiting Junee. TFTC & pointing out the history.
I've travelled through Junee many times, but never to the Reef which I found fascinating. Lovely to see the pride this community has, but sad that it has dwindled from its earlier 4000 persons wonderful but sad memorials TFTC The a Farmers 5
Wow! Now this was unexpected.

9237 + 1043 = 10280. Found during a run through the Temora, Junee and Cootamundra regions with ZZ7.
This was the next stop of our trip. We sure didn't expect this building and memorials out here - quite spectacular ! ZZ7 did the honours with the cache.
Thanks the farmers 5 !

Nice easy find with the clue in hand. The lights were on in the hall and when we had a look in the window it was obvious that a Wedding party was expected soon. We didn't hang around for long enough to see it.
Even with the risk of bad weather, we headed out with Roostaman, to pick up some caches.
GPS had us 8m from GZ, so we widened our search, and soon had cache in hand.
Many thanks for placing this cache, the farmers 5, for us and others to find.

# 11195 Found on another long day trip north with The Drovers.
We had good weather for most of the day, but struck the hail storm on the way back.
We could not see anything at our GZ, so then went to the obvious place 8m away and found it.
Thanks for the cache the farmers 5,

Wagga & The Rock December 2014. Sol de Lune suggested a trip west to get caches we both had not done concentrating on some of the Wagga Multi's that have evaded us over the years. We had a successful trip culminating with the event at The Rock. Thanks to all the locals who helped us when we cried for help. This is quite a facility out here. Thanks.

Continuing our trip towards Wagga and The Rock, Albida and I took a slightly longer detour around this loop and soon arrived at the GZ. Another impressive building, but we were interested in reading the info board to learn more about the area....and of course maybe find a cache. Cache was found ok....as ok as ok can be when you almost walk into it face first!!!! After that, the log was signed.....and we then replaced it (read - pushed with just a little hint of force) into where it should be so other finders wont get the surprise we did. All was good though and it was interesting to read about the early history of the area......
Thanks Farmers 5, another neat little historical cache.....

A great excuse to tick off Junee Reefs as a place you have visited next time you are passing.. After some interesting reading on the sign a quick find was made. Thanks the farmers 5.
Lovely quiet little spot where we enjoyed finding the cache, reading the history of Junee Reefs and had some lunch before continuing on our journey.
Second go at this one and was so easy don't know how I missed it the first time. TFTC.
[:(!] While in Wagga for the week, I ducked up to Junee, grabbed a few caches and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes, left my torch behind, if found by chance can you let me known.
