Day 14 of my interstate trip. Today I left Oura and continued to head closer to Sydney but only got as far as Grenfell where I stay for the night. I managed to find 20 caches today and ended up with 2 DNF's today.Cool old place. thanks for bringing me here.TFTC The Farmers 5
Thank you for bringing us to this interesting cemetery The Farmers 5 - it was interesting reading the plaques and headstones.
We had visited this site before when the grass was high with no luck. We returned today and found the cache within a couple of minutes. TFTC-flame trees
A lovely historic spot and a quick find to clear Old Junee. Off to the Chocolate Factory!TFTC.
A fun short holiday with friends caching further from home base than normal exploring and enjoying new locations. TFTC
#21024. Day 6 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Our last day as we make our way back to Victoria via a few caches along the way. A lovely little break with great weather - so fortunate.
What a well kept, tiny cemetery. Looked like it had just been mowed and there are new gates and no stile to climb over that I could see. RIP little Edward - so sad - drowned, and the 7th and final child who failed to survive childhood out of 15.
Found the container in the only likely spot although the coordinates were pointing elsewhere. Seemed to have been a bit of clearing done so maybe the original bush is no more.
Thanks The Farmers 5

The last day on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are headed to Cowra and back. Today we started the morning around Temora, and headed homeward about lunchtime.
An interesting little cemetery. We walked around reading the headstones and stories.
Thanks, Robmc.

Hello The Farmers 5 thank you for the cache
Easy in plain sight once I saw it.
This was one of many caches found on our way to Newcastle to see our grand children.

Day One.
My son and I New Year trip turn into drive into NSW and beyond. Today was more about driving. I found 9 today with few DNF. Oh well they do happen.
The breakdown was a mystery, community event, traditional, multi and adventure lab.
Day Two.
We carry on heading south down Newell highway grabbing more caches. Stopping for old and some new virtual, plus more non traditional for a challenge. Unfortunately some of those prove hard to find.
I had lots of fun doing earthcache they brought us to some wonderful places.
I found 26 today the breakdown was 3 virtual, 3 earthcache, 5 traditional and 3 adventure labs with 15 waypoints.
Day 3
Heading towards Mt Buller
After early start we started grabbing caches along the Newell highway to get more LGA cover.
I found 28 today with a lot of driving. The breakdown is 6 traditional, 9 virtual, (most I found in a day) 2 mystery, earthcache plus 2 adventure lab with 10 waypoints.
Thank you CO for your hides and the maintenance you do. For us to find
Sorry for the generic log.

Lovely little cemetery. Fed the horses some grass. Quick find on our way to Wagga Wagga. TFTC
Found It!
Spent a while searching in the wrong tree here. Then moved onto another wrong tree. Eventually I realised there was a third option and I then soon found the cache!

Found eventually. Helps when you look in the right place. Very obvious, particularly in winter. TFTC

It took me a while to locate the correct hiding spot and the icy wind didn't help the search much. Thanks for placing a cache at this historic cemetery!
Back Story:
We decided to explore a little more of the countryside on a very chilly Sunday. As usual we decided to use our trusty tour guide - Geocaching. Our fist stop was Nangus and from there we headed to Junee, Old Junee, Wantabadgery and our last stop was in Adelong. We really enjoyed the green and lush scenery along the way.

As the day progresses the wind chill factor goes up and up. It was ‘freezing’ walking around these old headstones on the hill! We eventually found the elusive cache hanging around and SL at 12.50pm. Took photos of some plaques and headstones and walked quickly back to the warm GeoCruiser. #8802 TFTC The Farmers 5
Great old cemetery, alas I couldn't find this cache. Had a previous finder come look too and was still unable to turn up this cache.
We do like exploring old cemeteries. And when there’s a cache, it’s even better.
Thank you. All good here.

This was the seventeenth find of 35 finds for the day. After finding ‘Old Junee Cemetery’, Mizmaz and I checked the map to see which cache was the next closest to us and this one came up. As we approached GZ, I noticed the old sign. I really like how something so simple has lasted so long and placing a cache here means people will come to learn more about local history. It must be lonely for the dearly departed, even if they left this mortal coil many years ago. SL. TFTC.

Ticking off some smileys during a Wagga stopover en-route to the Wangaratta Mega, found ourselves with some bonus hides around Junee. After a quick find, visited a few of the forgotten graves.
Staying in Junee for a week from Sydney (lovely part of the country) we decided to do the Gold Trail out to Junee Reefs. So we thought we would do the two Cemetery caches on the way.
So glad we toured these as the Junee Reef seems to have been muggled, nothing there !
I knew what I was looking for here and it was going to be hard !! All that green !!!
Which tree ?
Most interesting cemetery with only 5 graves, the grass was chest high !
No spoiler in the photo but passed in 1872, one side of my family is from Ireland
Thanks The Farmers 5 for bringing on this tour.
Cache and log in A1 condition.

Wandered between the trees for a while before we had success. Thanks for bringing us to this historic place, it was very interesting! Had no idea it existed until now! Found on our way to Junee for lunch. TFTC
A quick stop, couldn’t find it for ages then looked at a different tree! Lucky! TFTC
Easy little park and grab, thanks to the superb hint from Mrs Ski. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. Thanks for placing the cache
TFTC. Took us on a back road we have never been on before.
And that’s one of the things I love about Geocaching

Mr Ski was looking around for it, but Mrs Ski had already spotted it from back in the car! Now isn't that frustrating! As our good friend The Rebel would say, "Amateur"!.
We arrived in Junee yesterday afternoon and after setting up camp walked up for a visit to the liquorice/chocolate factory where we enjoyed a coffee but spent quite a bit on their produce. We also found two caches but in hindsight they were expensive caches!!
Today with our first full day in town we were keen to check out the older buildings in the centre of town and also visit the railway museum. Really enjoyed the museum which was greatly enhanced by the knowledge and enthusiasm of a lovely lady who showed us around and greatly added to the available information. The place is a real credit to the locals.
Caches also took us to a further range of interesting locations. Thank you to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches.

Day 9 of our NSW Road Trip and today we are caching from Wagga Wagga to Parkes via Temora. Just a few cache finds today as we need to be in Forbes to meet up with a good friend for lunch. Thanks to the COs for the placement and maintenance of your caches - it is really appreciated.
Out and about caching today from West Wyalong to Parkes. Due to the number of logs found, I have done a generic log. Thank you to all CO's for placing the cache in the locations where found. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Dead right. Foliage blowing everywhere on an extremely windy day. Tough cycling too.
Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega event now on the way to South Australia. 19 April 2021 4:08 pm Tyfc The Farmers 5 1981

This one was a bit harder to find - our GPSr units seemed to be about 10 metres out, but once we widened the search, it wasn't long before we had the tiny fellow in hand. Thanks, for this one!
Out with Just a cacher on a caching trip before heading back to work and we decided to head past this one on our journey.
The cache was found after an extended search and was in good condition.
Thanks for another cache The Farmers 5.

Next one on my journey home. Have seen the three at Old Junee a few times, and thought I would S as the other two for another trip. Pulled into the small cemetery, read the plaque and then started hunting. Ignored the GPS here as the hide was the obvious one. Log signed, replaced as found and then on my way.
