Reperio 07:54Day 4 of my little escapade to Albury for the weekend, and having camped the night in Wagga Wagga, it was time to head home to Orange. This was the last place I expected to find a muggle, but there was this one guy walking his dogs. Fortunately the cache was found after he had moved on.Gratias The Farmers 5As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Day 14 of my interstate trip. Today I left Oura and continued to head closer to Sydney but only got as far as Grenfell where I stay for the night. I managed to find 20 caches today and ended up with 2 DNF's today. From one Cemetery to the next a lot of history in both of them.TFTC The Farmers 5
My banding trip to Charcoal Tank (West Wyalong) was cancelled due to forecast rain but I decided to go anyway. Camped in the car (good call as it rained on and off all night) and so after a quick bird walk (hoped for species seen) and a drive to Ungarie for the AdLab a slow trip home to collect some selected caches (mainly higher D/T or a series to complete).Eventually found my way into the cemetery- what I thought was a road wasp thing. All quiet here but quite windy. Was a quick find here (some old interesting graves nearby),TFTC The Farmers 5
Thank you The Farmers 5 for bringing us to this interesting cemetery - it was fascinating (and sad) reading some of the older graves.
Not sure why this was replaced the two containers are less than a metre apart. New one removed. TFTC.
A fun short holiday with friends caching further from home base than normal exploring and enjoying new locations. TFTC

#21239. Day 8 of our escape into NSW. Heading home today with several detours to pick up some outlying caches on the way. Wished we could have stayed longer in Temora to see some airplane action in the skies but alas it will have to be another time. More glorious weather this side of the border but foggy at The Rock and cold back in Beechworth.
As we were going to be passing this way today I contacted the CO and asked if he would like us to replace this cache if it was indeed missing. We suspected it was after our last visit in May. On arrival searched once more to no avail so left a new container in a new hiding place. The CO has now updated the coordinates so good luck to the next finders.
This is such an amazing cemetery, so large and well kept but with the usuall sad stories that go with the past.
Thanks The Farmers 5

Home today from our setting off north trip with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Temora, picked up a few caches we had missed, and headed back to Beechworth.
Another lovely blue sky and sunny day.
As we were traveling this way home, we dropped in again to these lovely grounds.
BB had contacted the CO and been given a description of the hide, and permission to replace it.
It was not there, so it is now replaced.
We then had lunch here.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 6 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Our last day as we make our way back to Victoria via a few caches along the way. A lovely little break with great weather - so fortunate.
Another lovely old cemetery, so large this one. We got the doggies out and had quite a walk trying to locate the cache. I have a feeling the last "Found" log could be a Furphy. Certainly no Easy Find for us today, in fact, No Find at all. We searched at GZ, we widened the search and searched in grasses and at the base of many trees with no success.
Might have to revisit another time.

The last day on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are headed to Cowra and back. Today we started the morning around Temora, and headed homeward about lunchtime.
An interesting cemetery, but like others we found no cache here today.
Thanks, Robmc.

A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Out had me wondering if it was the "Old Junee" cemetery or the old Junee cemetery. Your description helped answer that.

We finally found the sun after it was raining the last 3 days in Yass and Canberra.
We are staying now couple of days in Temora and surroundings.

Found, but was warned by one of the locals that there’s a king brown snake that lives under one of the headstones so just be careful when looking
Watch out for the king brown snake under the tombstone that has the name "Eliza" make a lot of noise if you you anywhere near it
Found It!
After finding the right road into this hidden cemetery, I got to GZ and soon found the cache.

Quiet spacious cemetery with lots of room for prospective customers. Cache was in good condition and log was fairly dry. TFTC
Fairly easy to find but didn't write in the notebook as it was wet and moldy, this one might need to be replaced.
#6021.
This one was quickly spotted by the geokiddies. They were excited to spotted a couple of rabbits as well while we were walking back to the vehicle. TFTC!
Back Story:
We decided to explore a little more of the countryside on a very chilly Sunday. As usual we decided to use our trusty tour guide - Geocaching. Our fist stop was Nangus and from there we headed to Junee, Old Junee, Wantabadgery and our last stop was in Adelong. We really enjoyed the green and lush scenery along the way.

We are always up to find a Cemetery cache, and we are spoilt for choice in this area of NSW. This is the first one for today. SL at 12.35pm Took: Locationless geocoin for further adventures in NSW and Victoria. #8801 TFTC The Farmers 5 - a lovely old cemetery.

This was the sixteenth find of 35 finds for the day. After finding ‘Community Hall’, Mizmaz and I continued on our trip back to Wagga Wagga and decided to stop at the gates of this cemetery to look for this cache. It was an easy find and it always makes me stop and think how caches in urban areas need to be so well concealed but out here, it doesn’t matter. Thank you for bringing us here. SL. TFTC.

Ticking off some smileys during a Wagga stopover en-route to the Wangaratta Mega, found ourselves with some bonus hides around Junee. Typical easy country cemetery find out in the open, but don’t really expect too many muggles to stumble across it. Returned a little more concealed.
Staying in Junee for a week from Sydney (lovely part of the country) we decided to do the Gold Trail out to Junee Reefs. So we thought we would do the two Cemetery caches on the way.
So glad we toured these as we could not find the Junee Reef Historic site ! Please note we did not search for the Junee Reefs cache - we should have and that would have got us there for sure. Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps had ziltch !
GPS For this one was spot on.
Very interesting to tour the site. No spoiler in the photo just very interesting little plots.
Thanks The Farmers 5 for bringing on this tour.
Hey biggest log book to cache size container ratio ever !!
I left a golf tee and a marble.

A straightforward find after a short walk. Found on our way to Junee for lunch. TFTC
Quite an easy find. Cache is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks for placing the cache
This is a bit larger and more recently used than the original Junee Cemetery, but there are still some very old graves here.
A straight forward find after a short walk.
We arrived in Junee yesterday afternoon and after setting up camp walked up for a visit to the liquorice/chocolate factory where we enjoyed a coffee but spent quite a bit on their produce. We also found two caches but in hindsight they were expensive caches!!
Today with our first full day in town we were keen to check out the older buildings in the centre of town and also visit the railway museum. Really enjoyed the museum which was greatly enhanced by the knowledge and enthusiasm of a lovely lady who showed us around and greatly added to the available information. The place is a real credit to the locals.
Caches also took us to a further range of interesting locations. Thank you to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches.

Another cemetery visit on the highway in Old Junee. I do like going to these places, and visited them all over, mostly for family history, and finding and visiting my lost relatives in them. Don’t think there is anyone in this one that I know of at this stage, like many I have visited before there are old and some new here and there, scattered all over the place with many ornate headstone and surrounds around them, I have visited, many years of them. Some of the ones we have been to are so run down and very over grown, one which comes to mind is in Penrith, with graves way back in the very early 1800’s, it was so sad to see.
This is a Cemetery is also well looked after and most of the area is easy to see, some of the grave have sunk in so be careful walking around, and don’t get dragged down in to see the ancestors. The headstones that are still here are great to see and the metal surrounds a very nice to, some of these older styles are so special.
The cache was a quick find and is in good condition, all good. We had found it, we signed it, we replaced it, and now we have logged it.
Thanks for bring me to another one of these amazing place and showing me this historic place and oh yea, for the cache that we found here today The Farmers 5, Lil Donna

We're grabbing some caches in Junee before heading to Wagga for the day. Was surprised about the amount of residence here. TFTC
After a really great day yesterday completing the RGGT trail and starting the Friends, I had my heart set on completing that one, but an over protective butcher bird at the final cache put paid to that goal.
I started the day in Wagga Wagga and travelled home via Marrar, Old Junee and Junee. At that stage I realised that arriving home today was going to be impossible unless I stopped caching. I had never travelled that road before and again I thank geocaching for taking me that way to see so many wonderful sights - the lambs sticking close to their mums; the calves frolicking in the sun; the canola crops were either lush green or already cut; the wheat at various stages of being ripe from still green to flaxen and the beautiful sight of people fishing while out enjoying the lovely spring weather.
Oh and the caches were great too. There were a variety of hides, containers and camouflages. However I must admit to one low spot and that was when I had to sack Monty, aka my GPSr, after he led me on a merry dance for about 15 minutes at a cache that everyone else had said was easy! I grabbed Sam(sung) from the car and he immediately showed me the right way to go. Go figure!
All caches found were in good condition and logs were signed, often as SG to save space and time.
Thank you to all COs for their part in making my life so enjoyable.
Individual caches will get extra notes if appropriate.
