Logs
Sodden log replaced today. The growth in the planting since this was placed is incredible.
Nice evening walk in a deserted area. Unfortunately the logbook had turned into a slimy block, I just managed to scribble something on the outside. TFTC!!
Nice easy find with nanzie on our trip around the place Great day for chaching tftc
Had a lovely walk around this track with Sir Belac nice to mark these caches off our list .Thanks for this cache isis58
This was the last one I found as I traveled around the loop. After reading the sign adn avoiding that direction, I spotted the SPOR and the cache. TFTC.
Quick and easy find here. Admired the sculptures across the way, really well done. There are quite a few on the properties down this road, so some talented people living in the area perhaps. Yeah, I want that dandelion one. TFTC Isis.
Easter Monday and a ‘dot’ day for me as I get closer to filling in the dates for a calendar project. RG1972 was up for some adventure so we targeted a few walks - short ones - in the Tasman area. Got 8 or so before catching up with a friend of RG’s in town and then I was off back home. I stopped by St Arnaud for another 4 then a FTF back in Blenheim. Good day. Thanks all COs.

Another short estuary walk to explore. Beautiful lifestyle properties out here & so many cool sculptures! The horse & Dandelion sculptures my favourites
RNZ made short work of this one, so quick in fact there was no pic

This was super duper easy. Hid it in the same spot a little better so it wasn’t so obvious.
What a lovely spot, never knew this walking track was here. Log and container quite damp, didn't have a spare plastic bag sorry. Still able to sign. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
A neighbour told me about this track and today was the perfect day to do it.
With 3 caches on the way, even better. This was the first one and I spent some time looking at the wrong posts.. But managed to find fairly quickly once I realized.
Nice driftwood Christmas tree at the start of the track

Very few Pukekos this morning but a couple of huge geese, a quick find and enjoyed checking out the trail, some lovely views. TFTC
Checking out a road I hadn't been down before whilst my partner in caching crime was at home studying. An instant find. A little water in the cache but the log bag had done its job and the book was safe and dry inside. Signed the log, drained and dried the cache and replaced as found. Thanks for another isis58 cache.
Out for a morning walk with the dog (and grabbing a few caches of course). Thanks for the cache.
The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara and I are exploring the Tasman region again with the Giff evening last night. Today its Mapua to Motueka in Toby so lets GO!!
I am enjoying this track. Lots of fun things to see along the way. Quick snag and tag here. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I were in Mapua last night, for the GIFF event, and today are winding our way via the back roads to Motueka.
We stopped off here, to make sure we get enough walking time. Given that tyhis is a coastal walk I would not expect pukeko here - they are more a freshwater fowl. On the other hand we did see one pukeko at the other end of this track, and a pheasant at this end.
Nice little walk Thanks for bringing us here. And for showing us the sculptures.

This track wasn't here last time I was down this way, make for a nice walk on a lovely day like today lost of Pukekos enjoying the sunny day too
Another walk for me and Olivia, a great loop walk here and 3 caches too, nice one, T F T C isis58
mrs capperz has headed across the Cook Strait to visit our North Island family and I don't have enough leave to be able to go along too, stink. So, for this 3 day long weekend it's just me and (former) nightowl19 keeping up the Marlborough end of the deal. I decided a three prong attack would be the deal for this weekend; 'Nelson' (and surrounds) on Saturday, French Pass/Bulwer on Sunday and Northbank on Monday. And so it was. I managed a respectful 31 caches on the Saturday and headed over the hill at a decent time (much to miss 15's disgust) but we had a couple of nice walks in the Nelson sunshine and found some cool caches, including a mighty 6 Multi caches.

I've saved this walk for a while for when someone was willing to come with me, today visiting relatives came for a stroll to get some sea air in our lungs. Didn't see the awesome wind sculpture until we'd finished our circuit. We're surely not the first to take photos

What a great wee track - the tide was in and it was a stunningly beautiful afternoon, so peaceful. tftc
Easy find as it was quite visible, so we have added more cover. What a lovely place to go for a walk - thanks for the reason to explore this area!
I love the sign which looks hand painted. We enjoyed the little loop track as the tide raced in. TB in and out. TFTC.
Niteowlnz was out and about and was kind enough to drop this TB in for me to start it's NZ travels.
Out with a friend caching after work nice wee track. A lot of work has been done amazing little walk.
Mother duck tried to put me off at GZ, but quick find. Uplifted the TB to move on
Perfect day to discover a new little walk, lovely scenery. Dropped a TB. TFTC!
A brilliant track, probably the best short walk in the area and a credit to all concerned, and so great to have 3 great caches to make the enjoyment even greater.
Many thanks Isis
Many thanks Isis
Lovely walkway and with extensive plantings that will make the area stunning in a few years. Many thanks to the generous family for their environmental efforts and kindness in allowing the general public to walk the track. TFTC
The forecast rain did not materialise today, so a lunchtime cache hunt beckoned, especially as I had a calendar day to fill.
Probably the only visitors here are the (very) locals, geocachers and the bird life, of which there is plenty, so I was surprised to see the quality track laid out before me.
Soon at the GZ and then quickly had the cache spotted and log signed.
Thanks

Enjoyed the stroll to find the cache, everything looked picture perfect here today. TFTC
Easy find today as we started on this lovely walk. It was such a peaceful walk on a sunny day. Tftc
Picked up a few caches on the way home from the Valentines event - light was fading so decided just to do the two closest to us - so headed off down the very nice broad walkway - they really have done a good job on the track ( much easier to get round the beachfront from this direction and with the track !!) A quick find and the muggle and her dog coming our way divided off around the coast instead of up the track - phew lol signed log - thanks for the cache
Enjoying grabbing a few caches on the way home from The Event on Rabbit Island. Evening closing in so we ambled down the track to the first cache which was easily spotted so a quick grab , sign and return (to a less visible spot same area) before a lady walking her dog got too close. Thanks for bringing us to this track and of course for the cache
Found with Just-Lookin on a short geocaching trip around the top of the South Island.
Appreciate the effort geocache placers have put in to show us the area.
Quickly found here.
SL Thanks for the fun!

On a geocaching holiday with tmann421 seeking out caches at the top of the South Island. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.

A bit boggy near GZ after the rain yesterday, so I was sent in to retrieve as I was wearing the waterproof shoes. Only one place the cache could be and there it was. Swapped the Strawberry TB for the Worst Kept Secret.
We haven't been down here before, so it was great to explore the area, and find three caches. Thanks for bringing me here.

#7504. After all the rain yesterday it was good to do a walk on such a well formed track. Sent Troodle over the boggy bit to reach this one. TFTC.
What a wonderful way to unwind on a Friday night after work. Ellie and I enjoyed the whole loop just on sunset. +1 from us.
Thanks isis58 for the cache.

The last of three caches bagged this morning while walking the dog. Three easy caches on this track and well worth the walk thanks to gracious land owners.
There is a strawberry TB here, but it is not indicated below. I did not take it.

Wandered past here last night, but couldn't be greedy if I'm going to keep the streak going. No problems picking it up tonight.
Dropped off 2 trackables.

This area has certainly changed since our aborted attempt to find the cache, yellow submarine, a couple of years ago. Then it was a sea of overgrown scrub, mostly gorse, and today it was a delightful walk on a great track. The morning was perfect for a walk and only one muggle with a couple of dogs was seen. TFTC.
Pukeko Lane is very familiar to me. Pukeko Track seemed to need a different approach and it did. Last time here it was the Yellow Submarine that had me retreat licking my wounds. Who, what and why I wondered today and kudos for whoever helped in the transformation. A wonderful walk early morning. No blood letting required and a great start for the day. TFTC
Funny old thing. I stopped at this sign and looked about before heading to your other cache down the road. No worries on making a second trip and I often seem to leave Sidewaze a chance at an FTF behind me. Nelmac were parked at GZ this morning with a warning sign about spraying. No sign of the occupant thankfully.

Glorious morning for a short walk on this new track. The area certainly has seen some development since I was last here. Thought it might be a bit wet on the way to the cache but it wasn't too bad. Thanks for this discovery and TFTC, Biggles.
Nice One!!!!!!!!!!!Great little walk from the start of the track to the "Corner" and then the "Stump" and back again. Very scenic and relaxing!! Enjoyed the revisit to the Yellow Submarine and telling the female usakiwi the story of eccentric and his plans. The wind sculpture across the road was in its full glory. Much fun. Thanks
We thought this would be a good way to spend Waitangi Day morning before the cricket started. It was. We did do the loop and remembered the much more interesting/difficult access to the cache at the feature alluded to in the listing. We also spotted the new sculpture although it was too clam to know it was a wind sculpture without the listing. The plantings are certainly extensive and we appreciated the work that has gone into the track and the area, the generousity of the owners who make it available to walkers and the CO for placing the caches that drew us here.
Thanks. A favourite.
Thanks. A favourite.
What an awesome spot, thanks for placing a cache and thanks for the property owner for making a public track in this beautiful spot
FTF with Sidewaze. Nice to be able to share a private walkway - we wandered down to look at the Yellow Submarine and reminisced about the very different route we took to get that cache and how Sidewaze got some backing practice after going just a little too far on the track to the beach. TFTC
Just heading for home when this one was published. We knew exactly where to head having been in this area this morning. Ventured along the track this time. The Yellow Submarine would now be much easier to find - - - were it there. - - - The finders of 13/08/2006 would NOT be impressed. It is amazing that this area has been developed on private property and is open to all. Lots of work has been done. Good on them. Thanks for the cache and the FTF! Picked up trackable.

So sorry Marchwoods - not sure what happened here as I think this one should've been published first. TB drop
we were on the phone to another geocacher who mentioned 2 new caches...not far away. He gave us coordinates.
Finds had been logged, turns out just an hour prior to us.
thanks isis58
