Today we headed out for a day of quality over quantity caching. I did however have quite a big list which as usual we didnt complete. Never enough time in the day!! We did some nice walks and found some lovely caches. Our thanks as usual to all the hiders for this wonderful work, there were some really creative caches today. This was our lunch spot, it was a glorious day so perfect spot. Quick find after picnic. TFTC
Thanks for bringing me here. Cache quickly found, in good condition. Again, thanks.
One of the first mysteries we've solved and actually got around to collecting A super beautiful area, Bro says he'd like to go snorkeling here some time. Interesting puzzle, and a quick find after just a little help from the hint :p TFTC!
The camo on this one made it hard to spot. Great location with a nice view. We ate our sushi before tracking it down. TFTC.
One of twenty finds today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Lauderdale, before making our way along Forest Hill Road to the coastal reserve then down to Honeywood Drive and Cremorne, collecting caches along the way. Twenty finds in total and one DNF.
This was one of the first puzzles that I solved one afternoon, almost a year ago now. Not knowing that coords could be changed on the website I wrote them down on a piece of paper which I then lost. So last night I solved it again, and while it took a bit of time to find the cache today we eventually did. Great spot.
Sorry for the late log.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache gooseandegg!

Today is our last one in Tasmania. We have planned a trip out to South Arm with a number of solved puzzles and qualified challenge caches along the way. A nicely themed puzzle for the final location, which was quite busy on this holiday Monday. We had just got to the actual GZ and begun a search when a boat came slowly past. The people on board were taking no interest in us so we got on with what we were there for. Thanks.
We had a few minutes to wait for an appointment nearby, so decided to come down to this puzzle cache which we'd solved ages ago.
A nice easy find on a lovely sunny day. The water was blue and inviting, but no time for a swim.
Being yachties, we did spend a bit of time trying to figure out how one would get in and out of the lagoon in a yacht..not easy we suspect. Will have to consult a chart when we get home.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache gooseandegg.

A quick find on my second attempt today.
First attempt there was a muggle sitting right in front of where I wanted to look.

Hey gooseandegg, thanks for a nice nifty (solvable) puzzle. I was sorta hoping to find this by kayak, but last time it was cold, we were hungry, we were sharing kayaks, and that adventure just hadn't gone to plan. Today, on an R&R day after a small procedure this morning I came by car, parked nearby but there was a muggle near my solved coordinates, so I went for a wander elsewhere. Then I headed back here, what a lovely spot, and made a quick find as the muggle had moved on.
Thanks for bringing me to this idyllic location that I'd only now visited because of geocaching.
Worth a favourite.
Thanks for the adventure.
Cheers, EPs

On my way home from South Arm this time, so thought I'd do a quick dash to see if I could turn the frown into a smiley. No kayakers worrying that I might be stealing their car this time and a find for me. A beautiful part of the world. Thanks goosandegg.
We have had this one solved for a long time. This afternoon we are clearing up a few outstanding caches in the South Arm and this is one of them. Great view from gz. Cache quickly located and logged.. TFTC
After a weekend away, the egg and I came down to pick up the kids from 'nanny and poppy' so I checked on the cache. I thought it had gone but I was looking in the wrong place! Once I checked the coords online I found it.
Still dry inside and it's the original container.

Solved this puzzle during Covid, knowing I’d get here eventually. Today was the day I had some spare time in one of my weekly trips through to South Arm. Just as I was about to get out of the car a kayaker pulled up and parked right near GZ so I decided to go off and look for another cache. When I got back he was fishing just offshore so did my best to look for the cache, without alarming the kayaker. Coords matched clue, but unfortunately no luck for me today. ️ Will come back and have another look another day.
Hi gooseandegg while you guys were busy doing your maintenance run I was busy down at Honeywood and South Arm chasing some caches. It was a great day for collecting smiles cool but no wind. This was the first cache of the day and Miss L & I headed to this cache while the rest of the team were chatting to local muggles walking their dogs. All good with the hide here log nice and dry, thanks for all your efforts you have progressed along way since hiding this simple puzzle cache over six years ago.
TFTC Fun to do the puzzle and learn the nautical flags. Found it with our good friends.
Solved over 18 months ago back in Adelaide, prior to a couple of trips last time in Dec 2018 / Jan 2019 and again in March 2019. Both times, i was unable to get the time to go grabski {mainly coz i forgot to enter the solved co-ords into my phone...twice!! [:(!] Lol, my memory is shiite!}
Finally, after my trip up north for 2 days to Deloraine [^], i was able to drive to the final {with the co-ords in my GPS!} and make the swift find of a cache in great condition [^]

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

On our last morning in Tasmania, EsromL and I decided that we would try and find a few more pre-solved mystery caches between leaving Bruny Island and boarding the plane for Melbourne.
This one was a case of, "Do you think we have time to squeeze in one more quick one?". And so it was off to an area near where I spent a lot of time in my youth and eventually lived for a while. It really was a quick park and grab before we rushed off to the airport.
We managed to pick up around 150 mystery caches on this visit to the state, plus a few other types along the way. Time to start planning for our next visit!
Thanks gooseandegg for the puzzle and the cache.

This must have been one of the first Mystery puzzles that I solved, and it has taken me so long to get here. Have been close a few times but never had quite enough time to set aside time to look for the cache. Today, after having a unsuccessfully attempting to buy 'ONE', yes 'ONE' christmas present, I was up for a bit of destressing. So I thought I would hop in the car and see if I could have a successful geocaching search - and yes, the stress of battling the 'mall-mentality' slipped away and I happily signed the log. Thanks geocaching, and thanks gooseandegg! Dropped a TB
Solved puzzle at homework few a while ago, got answers...

TFTC! Yay we solved our first mystery cache. Got some tips from the recent event to how to work on puzzle caches.. sweet
We were heading over this way today to watch the footy grand final so decided to solve this quickly before setting off. A nice straight forward puzzle and quick easy find at GZ. TFTC.
We solved this puzzle about three years ago but only managed to retrieve the cache today. Nice location. TFTC
Today we grabbed some smilies down South Arm and this was one of them, a quick find. A nice easy puzzle.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A bit of a blast from the past - this cache and its newer, wetter, eponymous, 'mate'. They brought back memories of Arthur Ransome's 'Swallows and Amazons' series and my time in Sea Cadets in my youth. Having solved the puzzle we tackled this, the dryer option, first and after waiting for a windsurfer to launch from near ground zero soon had the cache in hand and signed its log. There were both wind surfers and parasail sufers on the water today. Sam Carter had brought the kayak so the damper option was then tackled after moving the cachemobile to the other side of the lagoon. I could have done with a pair of 'splodgers' as I tackled the newer cache by walking over the sand. We both got a bit damp, but successfully signed the log. Thanks for both caches gooseandegg, they made for an enjoyable afternoon.
With plans to visit the newly released nearby other cache, it seemed a good idea to see if we could solve this one to make it a two-cache trip. I knew what was required pretty quickly; Mr Prionotes claimed that many many moons ago he actually could have read things directly without recourse to the google printout I had used and supplied to him when I picked up he and Mrs P. We actually ended up going to the wrong side of the bay first (I think we were distracted by thoughts of the other cache), but before too long we were in the right place and, after waiting for a windsurfer to depart, we soon had the cache in hand and the log signed. Thanks for the cache, gooseandegg.
A lovely simple puzzle these ones I can do, and a lovely hide in a spot I haven't bee to before.

Solved this one a long time ago and forgot all about it like you do.
Anyway I was helping my father in law grab some oysters at low tide and as we were making our way along the beach I remembered that there was a cache round here somewhere so after looking at my phone I discover the cache not far away at all
Before we drove off to do some other things we made a short diversion and I spotted the cache straight away log soon signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache.

Finally was in the area and had time to get this cache. Had it solved for quite a while but getting to it was another issue. Nice puzzle and great location.

Hi gooseandegg
The great thing about geocaching is that there is something for everyone.
We are not very good at solving puzzles that require mathematical calculations so this one was a real treat for us and thank you for it. Lovely spot to hide a cache. Definitely on our favourite list.

The method of the puzzle was recognisable one and fortunately was deciphered without a hitch !
All quiet here today, no dogs or muggles and it was lovely in the morning sunshine [^]
Thanks for the cache, gooseandegg !

Solved this puzzle this morning so now just have to find a day to trek out this way to find a couple of caches in the area.
After an abortive chase for an FTF we decided to collect some of our recently solved local puzzles. Came on this one last night as we were checking the area for unsolved puzzles. A quick look posed a possible solution and soon some sensible numbers were on hand. Today we took our fish and chip lunch near by and sat watching the water activity before a pleasant wander to the cache and a quick find and log. Great little area.

All I can say is either goose or egg is one lucky duck as are the goslings to have this as your backyard playground. Mind you, the Tardis's (Tardii?) shouldn't grumble as we both grew up with acres of bush in our backyards. As we signed the log we were debating where the ocean got in & had to check the map to find out.
Looked at the larger item matching the hint at first.
TFTC gooseandeggOn a pleasant late winter day we decided to walk along Cremorne Beach to Calverts Hill and score some geocaches. On reaching the Calverts Hill cache we noticed a log entry from Budgietas about continuing up to the trig on the top of the hill. We thought that this would mean that the trig was on the Geocache Australia site and so perhaps we should go on to see.
After a lovely morning walk at the beach with dabom81 and Mini Munchkin to grab a FTF, we started making our way back to our lodgings. Of course with a few stops along the way Knowing that I would be in this general area I started solving all sorts of puzzles just in case we had the opportunity of driving by. This was one we luckily would be passing.
We pulled up at GZ and after enjoying the view for a spell I went about finding the cache. After only a small hunt I had the cache in hand. We signed the log and then replaced the cache as we had found it. Such a gorgeous spot for a cache!
Thanks for the cache gooseandegg

Had a look at the puzzle last night and found that it was a straightforward decode so I was able to make my way through it methodically - yay. On my way back to town this morning, I called in - liking that the cache could be retrieved fairly much obscured from the nearby houses. A muggle had logged it also, just a few days ago - and the cache could be seen relatively easily so I put a bit more of the foliage/grass in front to conceal it a bit more.
Thanks for the well put together puzzle, neat cache and pretty location.

The puzzle for this one was solved quickly and without the need for further reference (slowly things fell into place). It was a pleasant day to clean up a few caches around home and this was first on the list. Easy to find with the help of the hint, and a very pretty area to visit. Some of the local (miniature) dogs made sure to announce their authority, but we are sure that we managed to log the cache unseen.
Got my flippers and snorkel out ready to go get this cache, when the penny dropped and the puzzle was solved.
A really calm relaxing place to just sit and watch the world go by, but there is no time for that - theres caching to be done.
TNLN, thanks for the cache gooseandegg!

Having seen similar puzzles previously, we were able to solve this one within a few minutes of becoming aware of its publication. However, today was our first opportunity to hunt for the cache. Luckily at 7pm there was no-one in sight and we were able to make a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. A good first puzzle cache gooseandegg and a good hide. Thankyou - very enjoyable.
A straightforward puzzle seen quite a few times before.
Mrs RC and I dropped by GZ today, and enjoyed spending some time relaxing at a beautiful spot - we even looked with interest to see if any houses were for sale!
Thanks.

Hi gooseandegg
I flagged the co-ordinates of this nautical cache for a day I could go and find it.
Since then, I've been 'dreaming' about the find.
Today was it, finding and logging the cache at 1056hrs.
The ensign has been set high for your next puzzle and am looking forward to it!
TFTC and cheers
