A nice peaceful spot here in the sun today, wandered over before making a quick find, TFTC
thanks @agazo for the tip that you miscounted the trees! That had us onto it quick smart. TFTC
Nice quick find while my partner picked something up from near here. Hadn't realised my membership expired so a quick top-up and good to go. TFTC
Quick find thank you - cache container was a little damp so we dried everything out and gave it more cover from the rain. Good to go, still plenty room in the log book. TFTC.
Finally got time to grab this one, nice walk after lunch at the new Nikau cafe.TFTC.
Between thunder, rain and lightning we found the little box a little bit off the course but with the hint.

Staying for the Easter weekend in Pohara. Headed out for an early morning walk along the beach before the rain comes. No problems finding this one with the specific hint. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
I would have found it sooner, but I omitted one of the trees that seemed to be a bit far from the trail. TFTC.
Hint was confusing but a fun find. The trees were a bit worrying being so windy I thought they would fall on me LOL TFTC
No golfers or other types of muggles around, just the noise of a lawmower from the distance. Quick find, TFTC!

A quick find to finish our day exploring & caching, was a goodie! Lots of firsts for me Short walks I've been meaning to do but never seem to find time, we did this weekend

Another quick find and the last of the day for us. We just had to time the retrieval and replacement around some bike riders. All good here though, enjoying a still and sunny spring evening out here. TFTC B&W.
Found on a walk along the beach area with SJT_NZ while enjoying a two day jolly in the area, thanks b&w for the cache, all in good order.
A quick find with Tregearp on a weekend jolly caching in the area. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks b&w for another cache.
We enjoyed biking along this path.
Thanks bumandworker for creating this hide. It was find 9366 for me.

#8524. I am over in the Takaka region on a work trip. After spending a couple of nights in the back country it was time to return to civilisation. After a debriefing of our field trip in the office I had a few hours spare before dinner to go and find some local caches. Parked by the entrance to the golf course and headed along to GZ. Cache was soon in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Nice and quiet here today. Thanks bumandworker for hiding it here.
A nice quick find thanks.
Found as we started to head back over the hill to Nelson. Golden Bay was all damp and a bit drizzly, and the Nelson side fine and sunny!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Its off along this walkway. Quick find here . REplaced log with Temp RITR log to help this one along. Cheers. Then kept walking with a DNF at the nest one. Times run out today so its time to collect Zara and head back over the hill.
Its Sunday and we are off to Pupu springs before heading home later today.
Its a long weekend to Takaka, with Collingwood and Farewell Spit in the mix, with Zara Toby and Bullertroutss Bro. So lets go exploring. Visited lots of awesome places. But never enough time. I will be back.

No problems finding this cache and we also found a large TB hiding outside the container. I see it's not even allocated to this cache so we will have to sort that out. No problems here, tftc
A very enjoyable few hours caching continues here along a road that I've never traveled...until today.
No golfers about, or anyone else for that matter.
Count 1,2,3,4,5 - There you are.

My 6 year old and I were doing a bicycle geocache tour. Found easily. Thanks.
Quick find while out for a stroll while on a wee break in Pohara. Thanks for the cache
Our vacation or road trip through New Zealand led here.

Found with NZDi. After spending the past month or so stuck at home preparing our house for sale, the looming long weekend called for something special. So three nights were booked in a motel in one of our favourite places... Pohara and early on Friday morning we headed across the hills (firstly the Whangamoas and then the Takaka Hill). We didn't get off to a great start being held up slightly with a flat battery... perhaps I should have taken heed of what the AA man said a few weeks ago when he did a call-out to my address for a similar fault and bought a new one. Fortunately I have become self-sufficient in the flat battery rectification stakes and this was rapidly rectified. Knowing that we were going to a few out of the way places on our weekend endeavours and note wanting a similar experience, I purchased a new battery as we went through Nelson (I couldn't do it in Blenheim because we left too early).
The plan for the weekend was to do some caching in the Golden Bay area on Friday and Saturday, celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a little more caching but some more traditional anniversary activities, and then do some more caching on the way home.
Yesterday's mission was to collect some of the caches in the Canaan Downs area at the top of the Takaka Hill, but that was cut short and we ended up doing some Wainui caches last evening.
Todays mission is to start at Wainui, head out to Separation Point, carry on to Totaranui, then return to Wainui over the Gibbs Hill Track, it turned out to be a nine and a half hour day on the track. NZDi decided that nine and a half hours on here feet already today was not enough, and after dinner decided she wanted to go for a walk down the beach. As we ended up passing this cache, we decided to have a look for it. The hint made it a bit easy. Logging a couple of days later, I see that we beat the cacher who beat us to the Gibbs Hill Summit Tower earlier in the day.

It was a cold frosty morning but with hat and coat on I walked from Pohara to find this cache, a lovely walk along the track and a quick find was made. I think it was too early for others to be out and about in this area as it was very very quiet. tftc
WE are keen geocachers on holiday from Tauranga and grabbing a few smileys as we go. Great place for a cache and even better a nice new log. TFTC
Last cache of the day before it got dark and Niteowlnz soon had it in hand found the log was in need of replacement so this was done and the cache all good to go for a little longer :0( TFTC
With darkness nearly on us we did one last cache before retreating to our motel room for the night - parked and wandered to GZ that didnt seem to want to settle - but soon narrowed it down and I sptted this one first replaced the old log with a new one and a new plastic bag - as there wasnt one with the old lump that used to be a log thanks for the cache
A quick stroll from the cemetery and we had this in hand. Log very wet unfortunately. Didn't have s spare with us. TFTC.
The previous day the brand new Oregon 700 hiccuped and lost all cache details from the Takaka PQ. Still showed icons with cache names- but no details. So went to GZ and looked around vaguely for this - at the tips of the pine branches down by the estuary - but now see it's rather simpler thatn that.
Quick find. Log very wet. TFTC. sort of got log signed as very wet and only had my pencil.
Counting, never a strength! Nor was hitting straight up the fairway!! TFTC:-)
Opps that should be here "found it" not "note it"...will edit when have the chance!

This was our last find for the day before heading for home. Using torches with a limited circle of light it was a bit hit and miss when it came to using the hint but we got there in the end.
Thank you bumandworker.
Thank you bumandworker.
We checked the next day and a moonless night definitely does have an effect on your counting We made the find but did it the hard way. Last one and home time now. Thank you bumandworker
Out for a round of golf and a few caches during the school holidays. Nice one. Tftc
Found while on our exploration of Golden. We thought initially we may have to go onto Golf Course land but were pleased to see the walkway.
This took us longer than it ought to have. Sometimes you're just cache-blind. A nice wee hide from B & W.

A quick easy find after a short walk, with lots of noisy laughter from the nearby golfers. TFTC
Staying at the Top Ten and after dinner went for a quick walk to grab this one so it probaly took longer than it should since we were 1.6km away and earlier in the day i was only just down the road doing some others nearby oh well maybe should check the map better.Cheers
In the area for a few days, enjoying the wonderful scenery and finding some caches along the way.
Many thanks for the cache bumandworker.

Quick find on a quick morning walk. Forgot pen so didn't sign log but will try remember a pen for tomorrow's walk.
We stayed for 3 days in Takaka together with Athosandros. Today we made a trip to Abel Tasman Nationalpark. In Pohara we made a longer stop and Athosandros an I made a short walk to visited some caches..
Sorry for the late logging but the internet connection in our motels was very unstable and bad.

today we started a nice trip to the Abel Tasman Nat.Park. First we walked the Grove Trak, then we had a short stop at the Abel Tasman Monument, after that we had a walk to the Wainui Waterfalls. Further we drove to Totaramui. On our way back home we stoped in Pokara for a nice bath in the ocean. On this daytrip we found a lot of caches. Thats to all owners from Germany.
Found on a lovely morning run. Tried to beat the heat, but it was still very warm. Struggled a bit at first, but then read the hint and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.
On a geocaching holiday with tmann421. Exploring the area, lots of amazing places, views and caches. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable holiday.
Nice quick find by tmann thanks to the hint.

Found with ease on a special trip to Clifton with dad to continue my streak. TFTC (1386)
No golf today but two dog walkers. One at the end of her walk turned around and attacked us again from the other direction. After the place had quietened down it was a quick find and sign.

It's been many years since we had been to Golden Bay, and a long weekend seemed an ideal time to reacquaint ourselves with the area (and find a few caches as well ).
We parked our car near the start of the walkway, in view of the sign advising us that we were parking at our own risk. We could see a golfer teeing off not far away and hoped he wasn't aiming anywhere near us! TFTC.

#8449. I figured the car wasn't too likely to be GZ for a golf ball strike (it was early evening), so we parked near the warning sign and went off to look for a couple of caches. This was the first of them. TFTC.
