A nice quick find thanks. Last for the day, and a clever hide A fav point from me. Cheers.
Found on a lovely days drive to Motueka, with Ms_KR, the start of our holiday. A lovely day, with only a few showers along the way.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Once upon a time I had a friend who lived across the road but I think this is the first time I've ever been in this bus shelter. I used to catch the bus to school from the one at the intersection down the road. A clever hide, in fact I think this is the best executed one I've found of this type. That equals a favourite point. Well done Shorty1766.
On our way from Takaka to Linkwater we planned just high FP caches and challenge caches. This was one of them. Good choice!
This one is utterly brilliant! I love caches hidden in plain sight. I don’t want to give anything away, because it’s so much fun when you find it. Another favourite point for sure!

I’m forced to concede another FP on this one!! We have a couple similar to this at home but until we clapped eyes on it it was not what we thought we were seeking!! I won’t say any more..... TFTC
What cache to start the best day of this holiday!! Thanks to phlexish for helping me make smileys and fulfill life goals
This one has me stumped this time round. I will be back.
Its Labour Weekend so Zara, Toby and I are off to explore Tasman for a few days. Its Monday and Zara rests up this morning before we head home. Toby and I are out exploring around Motueka.

After a morning in the garden it was time to stretch the legs and get some steps in with SJT_NZ, some caches he'd found already so quick finds for me and others were a new walking track with great views of the autumn colours and Tasman Bay. Thanks Shorty1766 for this clever local cache.
With this many favorite points nobody wanted to miss out so we all got out to have a look. It always looks a little suspicious when 4 people jump out of a car and search in a place like this though but this one was well worth it! Nice little hide and a favourite point from us too. Thanks for placing this
We looked at this one ages ago but were muggled off. Tonight having an earlier finish dashed in to look for and after first missing the hide it was spotted by Niteowlnz . Nice sneaky hide . It was good to get the smiley to start clearing out Motueka again. TFTC
This one has been on our radar for ages - having missed out ongetting it a while back - then we had a break from caching for awhile - back into it now this came up as one we had to get - it was dusk when we tried tonight and after hunting for a wee while I had the cache in hand - very clever and worth the wait !! Thanks for the cache
On a road trip south, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

The highlight of today were the Pancake Rocks. We found one cache there and also a foto trap. First we thought that this might be the cache - maybe now they have some nice pictures with a very rare species - the geocacherensis germanicus. We drove along the coast and had a lot of stops - some with caches and a find, some without cache or an DNF. The coast is really beautiful and at the bay with the penguin project we thought about staying here the rest of our holidays. After leaving the coast we followed the Buller River - again awesome. We remember Glenhope, a nice café at Murchison and a lot of fruit sellers along the road. Our stage ended at Motueka where we tried to do a mystery but failed at the final. We know this hides from Germany but this one was really perfect made. It took some time till we were brave enough.

Down from Northland, visiting the South Island on a 7 day caching and sight seeing trip. The main object was to find the last four CANZ caches, finish off my D/T grid, fill as many spaces as possible in my Jasmer grid and then concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, completed challenges and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close to any of our stopping points.
The trip started off on a good note, with our rental cache mobile being little more than a week old and only 109 kms on the clock. It certainly had a few more by the time we returned it..!
Day five today and heading off from Nelson to Westport. Unfortunately, due to the devastating fires in Pigeon Valley, we had to detour via Motueka and the valley road. Not a problem though, as we weren't on a time schedule and it meant we were able to see more of the Tasman area and pick up a few caches we otherwise would not have.
This one with good FPs was definitely worth a stop and we were able to pull up right alongside. Headed off inside and quickly spotted something of interest, and what do you know, it was the cache. Signed the log and replaced safe and secure ready for the next finders. A fave here from me too. TFTC

Today we made a trip over to Motueka to pick up some unfound caches and DNFs.
Great cache and great idea! Have seen other caches like this one before so immediately tried it once I saw it. And look what it is, The cache! TFTC

We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one! It is a pity of all the dirt, but the cache is very nice hidden. For that a favo in.
Greetings from the Dutch.

We needed to find a cache to continue our streak while visiting the top half of the South Island. Once the rain stopped we walked down to this cache as we were staying at the camp. If I could give this more than one favourite point I would. Excellent camo - well done and thank you.
One of the hardest caches I've found! 3 previous attempts and more than an hour today would eventually lead to frustration. Eventually an idea clicked, and all the cleaning and sweeping I did with my jandals meant nothing. A favourite point from me. 5 for 6 today now
A quick find in the first place I looked - but nicely done all the same.
Signed log and replaced as found, thanks Shorty1766 for the cache.

Out Geocaching with Bullerrout for a day of adventure, nice to be out in the country, cute container and a fp from me
Found with kiwi nomad on a drive out here. Have tried to get this one before. This time it didn't take too long
A decent hide here and nicely camo-ed. This was an idea I've considered a few times down the years, but never got around tuit, or an idea of how to house the log well. You have done well here and gained another F P for the efforts, nice one. Decent co-ordinates rounded out a successful find. T F T C Shorty1766
Last day of the month and only the 5th day I've been out for a cache find, or more, so time to get some in before I have my Geo-licence revoked! And there are some more souvenirs being thrown around willy. And Nilly. So I'm up for a few finds and yet another trip over the hill. Thanks say the fuel companies, but that's my hobby. Targetted the area of Motueka and the back roads in and around Moutere but my planned 50 caches in a day was thwarted by mrs capperz's intolerance of too many p n gs so it was called off in the late teen-numbers and crept over the line for 20 in the day.
First up here for an explore along the causeway, and side roads, that I've sped past too many times but which were deserving of more attention today. Some nice finds out this way and some good old winter scenery to help the cause.

A trip to Collingwood was scheduled for today. Because the SH60 can only be driven with safety car every hour because of work after cyclone "Gita", it was said in the net, we set off extra early on our way.
Unfortunately, we learned on site that the track will only be opened on Sunday.
So the daily program was changed spontaneously. Smaller highlights such as buying fruit, making caches in the mudflats, eating fish and chips, bathing and more.
And again and again looking for caches, some were probably buried by "Gita", others were easy to find.
Here we need a little time. Very tricky. That's worth an FP.

What a novel hide one of the better camos I have seen well crafted and an easy fav thanks shorty 1766
After a mornings sea kayaking decided to cycle around Lower Moutere for geocaches. This was the first stop. Checked the building carefully but no luck after 20 minutes. Had a final check then noticed something that proved to be the cache. Kicked myself because I had seen this idea before. A favorite for the workmanship. Tftc

Yay we found the little rascal surprisingly quickly. We have found 3 very similar back home in Christchurch...Very clever and it deserves a Favourite from us.TFTC
I know it's the nature of this game, but there are *many* caches that follow the same old theme: Eclipse tin, magnet, tucked in the rafters of a shelter. Yep, we've all found them.
Now don't get me wrong - just like the next cacher: a find is a find is a find, but every-so-often its nice to walk away from a GZ, having spent ten-odd minutes rummaging in leaf litter and other (less-than-savoury) odds and ends, with a sense of satisfaction and a big smile on your face.
Happily, the CO understands this plight and has fashioned a cache so crafty three people can put their hand on it and still not find it.
More happily, some persistence paid off. Inspired by recent logs we revisited a place for a better look...and out popped...well, that was worth it. For sure.
Even more happily still, the CO, who happened to be driving by as we emerged with smiles on our faces, stopped to make sure we had found the cache.
It's nice to have a chance meeting with a fellow cacher, especially the CO, but even more so when we can thank, in person, the hider of this one.

All good. It was actually in the first spot I looked, but I also looked elsewhere, before I came back to it. very well done. Cheers and TFTC
I spent a fair bit of time trying to find this cache. I didn't look thoroughly enough in the area & probably misunderstood the description. Going by the number of favourite points, this cache baffled me.
Lotsa things we weren't really wanting to touch but when we read a prior log saying similar mr j was straight to it. Seems he had seen and left untouched already. Very clever hide. NINO TFTC
Off on a days caching with MuzzaL53 helping him get to 2000 - well someone had to help him!! Love the hide. A favourite definitely as I wouldnt usually touch this!! TFTC
Have been to look for this 3 times aswell as done a few slow drive bys and still coming up empty handed. Will go back to the drawing board maybe recruit some helpers.
Can't wait to tick this one off

Must have been our lucky day today as we have finally found this cache. Thanks for the cache and happy birthday for yesterday.
Talked with CO and although she confirmed the cache was still in place and that she could see it, 40 mins of searching failed to uncover it for us. We will try again when there is less debris around.
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who was staying for nearly six months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we followed the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Being in the South, the way now went up on the west coast back to the north. Crossing the Fjordland with its famous landscapes we've reached Te Anau to do a private flight over Milford Sound, then spend in Queenstown some time with the most spectacular activities ever done (Canyon jumping and Shotover canyon jetriding were some unforgetable experiences!) the way led us to the glaciers, up to the nice town of Westport and further to Abel Tasman Park to doing an unbelievable hike trough the park and an outstanding kayak tour with seal and bird watching.
Nelson, Picton; Cook Strait is waiting again for us.
Of course, even if was is not our main activity during this holidays, we were looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to Shorty1766 for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Found with 2wombles on our way back to Riwaka after a day at Quinnys Bush. A very good hide. Thanks for the cache.
Spotted the cache after about a 5 minute search. Nicely done. Thanks for the cache.
Well I think we spent 15min looking over what thought was everything until hubby said he had the cache, well done on the camo and gets a fav from us. Tftc
Cool hide! At first it seemed a place we wouldn't want to go rummaging around but great hide!
Great camo, well done! Thanks to maalana (she showed me a few months ago a picture of one of the same camo-style) I found it quickly. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Switzerland

Today we did the big loop through Tapawera up to Motueka and then back to Nelson. This one didnt take us too long. I had seen one just like it on the internet so I knew it was the cache as soon as I saw it. Mum was closer so I told her to grab it, she did hesitate a little but went for it anyway. A great camo job and we liked the double meaning in the title. Dropping in a favourite point. Thanks for the cache
This is an excellent cache,. A very inventive hide. We were just about to give up when we found it. TFTC.
Second time around we found it, being a tidy Kiwi helps. This is the most inventive we have seen to date
What a great idea for a cache, no muggels around today. Just as well the cache is in NZ and not France. TFTC
Awesome cache, seen it a couple of times in my search before i finally seen it lol, no pen on me so will attach a pic without making it a spoiler. TFTC
Today it was time for leaving Motueka and drive towards Murchison and further on to Westport. On the way we made some stops and found some caches .
This was the first find this day. The very nice container was found rather quickly, but where was the logbook? We were about to find a piece of paper and write our name there, when Frode suddenly discovered the real logbook lying on the ground in the middle of the shelter. Fortunately it was dry and undamaged, so we could sign and put it back, where it belonged .
Thanks for a great cache / hide. A favourite point from us [^].
