Despite some less than perfect weather, it was great to see so many geocachers turn up for FaganFest. It was fabulous to catch up with those I already know as well as the new faces of cacher names I've seen in logs. The mint tin throw game was a bit of fun and well done to our winners.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again at the 2015 FaganFest event.

FaganFest is still on!!!
With all the lovely weather we have had recently it's a shame we have woken to grey, overcast skies. The ground outside is damp but it's not actually raining here in Dural. Being hardy geocachers, I'm sure we will get a good turnout to this event.
See you there!!

A great way to spend an overcast Sunday. Always good to catch up and meet some new cachers.

1/06/14. 12:30 PM. Cache #1584. Various errands at home meant that I'd have to miss the start of this event, but as soon as I was free I made it up to Galston for my first ever Fagan Fest. In another first, C62 has invented the 'Multi Event', as I turned up at the published coordinates only to see that I was at WP1 and being directed a bit further away to the true GZ.
Here I caught up with many familiar faces and a few others that I've known from logs. I got into plenty of good geochat, the ammo tin game and some TB swapping. Before too long, an hour had passed and I needed to be on my way to pick up Yelyac from the Central Coast (but not before picking up a couple of nearby trads!).
Another great event; so nice to see you all. TFTE }:)

Thanks for another great even C62. First FanganFest and first time at Fagan park. Great to meet up with everyone throw those mint tins around.
Attended in the company of the world traveller Ingrid. Good to catch up with fellow cachers and meet some new faces. Once again the weather held out, No rain

Get here just after 11 and am 3rd to find! How bloody early do I have to get up to get a FTF these days
Unfortunately geomum has now decided we have too much going on with bathroom renos and what not so we won't be able to make it
The weather forecast for Sunday is looking a bit iffy at the moment however, unless there is torrential rain, I intend to still run this event.
Just a reminder that there are two entrances to Fagan Park. The closest one to where we will be set up is the Carrs Rd entrance. If you go in the main entrance off Arcadia Rd, you'll have a bit of a hike to get to our picnic spot. Also, there is a $5 per vehicle entry fee if you wish to park inside or you can park outside and walk in. See the event description for details.
At the published coordinates, look for a sign that will tell you where we are located (with coordinates), or wander around until you find some friendly faces. Don't forget the official group photo will be taken at 12:30pm so hope you can be in it.
Don't forget to bring all your food and drink requirements for the day.
Looking forward to seeing you all.

Hopefully Anna and me can get there, even if on call it's not too remote to be able to get back and do something. Lots of competing events on this weekend and the following one!
If you are coming to FaganFest and bringing some trackables to leave for others to take, it's time to drop them into the listing.
At this stage, the forecast for Sunday is scattered showers and a maximum temperature of 22°C. All in all, it's sounding pretty good.
See you Sunday.
Cheers,
Calypso62

I won't be able to make it as I'm in Brisbane that weekend... Have a great time everyone!
Unfortunately this one clashes with another event in The Gong that I can't afford to miss. Hopefully I'll be available next year.
