Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
After walking about 10k-s I hopped in the car and decided to do some park and grabs on the ones not far off the roads.
On my way home I decided to visit this area and collect a few more smiles as I still had some time.
Last, 32th find for today. This one was a bit tough, but I spotted it after widened the search area. The Garmin showed 15m at the cache. TFTH

School holidays rapidly coming to a close. Great weather encouraged me to head to the hills; somewhere I don't often visit since I'm not a huge fan of the bush. I appreciate the proximity of most of the hides to paths and also the generous sizing of the containers. Thanks steve2398.

I was able to do all this series except for the disapbled one, and had a lovely wander through the bush to seek them out. Used ZilVert's coords again as my coords had me on the wrong side of the path. Placed this log into a plastic bag also.
Thanks for the cache steve2398.

It took me a while to find the right stump. Lots of kangaroos around this morning. TFTC steve2398

Had a bit of time to spare late this arvo so decided to head to the hills for a spot of caching.

After a nice stroll along a well formed path I got to GZ and started my search. Hunted around for a bit and was getting nowhere. Stopped to read some logs then punched in ZilVert's co-ords and straight away I spotted where the cache would be.

Out for an afternoon of caching with the grandkids. First opportunity to find this cache even though a friend had hidden it. The co-ords appeared to be a bit out but the hint was helpful and grandma (Zil) found this one. Smile TFTC steve2398.

Back up this way for another caching day with Luna Maya.
We had a great day even though it was quite warm. I ended up with 22 finds and a couple of DNFS. We even managed to get a FTF while we were up here. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. TFTC steve2398

I didn't find these coordinates to be that far out when I looked today and found the cache without problems. One GPS had 6m and the other had 7m.

Thanks steve2398 for the cache.

No logs on this one left me hopeful of a FTF, but it turns out it had already been found very early this morning. So I was STF at around 4pm.

I left the Mary MacKillop - Peru travel bug in the cache. Thanks for the hide GeoJake21!

Had some time late this afternoon so headed up the hill to this new cache. Spent quite some time at GZ with no success so broadened the search and eventually had a find after another couple of minutes.
Signed the log and grabbed the Mary MacKillop TB.
TFTC.
