Checked on the cache and the area has indeed been cleared. Will have a bit of a think about what to do with this one.
Council workers in the area today cleaning up and removed site where cache was.
Bit tricky looking in this area, had to abandon our search with muggles frequently riding waking past. After being spotted by a fellow geocacher we decided to give up and try again tomorrow!
Quick find by MrsClazza. Container was freezing on an icy, wet, miserable day. Tftc. We needed another
Out to find a couple today.
Great little spot and awesome cam, nearly missed it!!

Back with reinforcements on our last day house sitting in Wodonga. I gotta hand it to geohubby - he doesn't give up easily. His persistence paid off and even when he pointed it out to me I had trouble seeing it. SL TFTC BeechwothSC1
Set up the caravan in Wodonga, and headed out to pick up a few caches in the area.
GPS took us right to GZ, and after a quick look, we soon had cache in hand.
Many thanks for placing this cache, BeechworthSC1, for us and others to find.

It's been a while between caches and with a little bit of time up my sleeve today a pursuit for this one was on. Admittedly I had previously attempted it but had no luck, and thanks to a hint from the CO's another try had to be made soon enough.
After parking in the nearby cul-de-sac it was only a short stroll to GZ, but with a multitude of places the cache could be, including the obvious spots, it was going to be a tricky one to locate.
I had searched for a while without success, and just as I was about to give up and walk away I spotted something well camouflaged and indeed it was the hide.
SL at 1.15pm. The container was replaced as I found it, but I was concerned that it may be vunerable in its position. Hope that its all ok.
A great spot for family to visit and to enjoy the park nearby. TFTC BeechworthSC1.

After a previous DNF, was determined to find this one today. Especially as we now have a couple of weeks of navigating and searching for caches. Honours goes to Big Miss C. Great Cache. Appreciate the recent log, confirming it was still there. Thank you for the cache.
Got to GZ and spent a while looking around for where it might be. The hint is still correct just need to look "deeper". Found and SL. Re-hung on a stronger improvised hook though. TFTC

Having removed one of my waypoints to make way for this cache to be published, I figured I may as well pay it a visit this morning. As I used to live only a stone's throw away from here, I knew the potential for muggles to be loitering around here, and the cache that was previously went walkabouts more times than I can remember. Fortunately this one was found today.

Have seen this cache on the list a while back & just never had the chance to go find it...until today!
There was a predicted rain storm on it's way and I figured there wouldn't be too many muggles around and I'd try and find this one before the rain hit.
As I headed towards GZ I noticed a muggle in the house nearby at the window so I just casually walked on with my eyes peeled.
I entered from the opposite side to where the cache was, after having a little look around I spotted it and went in from the other direction, I am glad I waited for winter to pass before I went here as it would be pretty slippery like others have said.
Nice little cache just hanging around, very glad I was wearing my trusty vibram shoes with plenty of grip.
No sooner than me leaving GZ a muggle kid went past on his bike.
I couldn't help feeling a little like a bridge troll whilst crouched down hiding & signing the log!
Thanks fore the hide!
Happy to finally tick this one off the list.

Today we took muggle mum with us to show her the art of caching , it didn't take long for the boys to spot the cache , but with wonting mum to find her 1st cache we put our hands in our pockets and twisting our toes into the dirt ,with eyes looking skyward and the odd glance in the direction, woohoo the cache was spotted .
great cache

Today I decided to try to clean up a few caches in town, and grab a few puzzles as well.
Took a little while for the GPS to settle here, and then it was a slippery scramble to grab this one.
Thanks for highlighting this nice little park BeechworthSC1

Find # 2910

Staying in Albury, well, Thurgoona actually, with our son for a few days.
Today I had a few hours to myself as Pam attended a quilting class in West Wodonga. My intention was to do some caching in the Wodonga - Albury area, but I didn't really get out of Wodonga.
This was find 5 of 13 for the day.
Started out near the big tree over the creek, then my GPS settled down and took me to the right location.
Took me a while to find it as I was taking the clue too literally, but eventually I did find it.
It was soaked and the log is a sodden mess. I think it would be perpetually damp here in winter and a more water resistant setup will be required.
Thanks for placing this cache BeechworthSC1

Needs a new log at the least, and although the hide is good, the log container needs a rethink.
Also, some heavy rain might sweep it away possibly.

Catching up on a few late logs....sorry, this one was found with Happy feet and Moosetash while in Wodonga for the weekend. This hide had me thinking that heavy rains might relocate it but it seemed to be anchored securely, the log was a little damp but still managed to sign it. Thanks BeechworthSC1 for the cache, nice camo work.
Out grabbing a few caches with visiting geo family. Happy pants made the find, so we all signed a soggy log. Thanks BeechworthSC1.
A quick find by Happy pants tonight, as Happy feet got us as close to possible in her geomobile. There had obviously been a fair bit of water through the creek in the past few days, as the cache was very wet. We couldn't dry the log out, so replaced after signing as best we could. This one might need to be checked if more rain comes in the next few weeks. Thanks for the hide.
We have spent today adding some local smilies to the map that have popped up over the last several months. After finding an appropriate spot to park the car we made our way to GZ. Luckily we had no disruptions while we located this well hidden cache. We sat and listened to the flowing water before signing the log and heading on.
TFTC.

After a depressing footy loss in Albury needed something to cheer me up so attempted this one. Great camp and good construction. Had to wait for some pretty feral looking kids on scooters to leave. Thanks heaps.
I spent today with Robmc and BettyBoo just casually picking up caches around here.
We all noted that the cache was lying below the last flood level and wondered if it would benefit from a higher home.
No one about so an easy find

# 6309. A day of hunting down some caches in the Wodonga and Chiltern areas with Robmc and Feathertop. A day of mixed successes with our names added to some recently published puzzles.
Glad to find this one before it gets washed away again??? Drizzling whilst we were here so not too much fun. Luckily it was a quick find and now down the highway to Chiltern we go.
Thanks BeechworthSC1

We had solved a few puzzles, so today we drove around to see which we could find. A short day's caching with BettyBoo3747 and Feathertop.
Fortunately, the cache was not too close to the playground, which was good. We spotted the caches hide, but if it was washed away before, not too sure how it will go now.
btw, the description still says a bison.
Thanks, Robmc.

Headed down the really long thin black line this time to Victoria to try to finish off the HCRT Series. And attempt another couple of series in Northern Victoria. Day four of the adventure left Myrtleford early morning and headed back to the Hoopshot series, To pick up a few more before wending my way home. Hoping to find a few more on the way. What a spectacular place here in what I suppose you call the High Country of Victoria, No matter where I go in Australia I find a place that’s got the Wow factor. Great cache. TFTC
Checked on this tonight and it has vanished.
The creek is quite flooded nearby and the geotrail is also extreme. Might have a rethink about the type of hide.
Will get back online asap.

Found after the Beechworth event on the way back to Wagga.
Nice park and top hide in a place of many choices.
Thanks to Ben and his team.

After a long drive form the mountains i found a nice motel and went for a walk. Very nice park to walk through. The cache is very nicely crafted and my first in this state. I liked it. TFTC
#5339 After visiting a relative in hospital, our daughters Girl Guides ceremony and some cache maintenance we decided on a couple of caches before calling it quits for the day. This one had been recommended to us so we took a detour, found a place to park nearby and took the stroll to GZ. We were greeted by a very well constructed container - well done BeechworthSC1 for your handiwork. This cache will blend even moreso with age - like a fine wine. Our thanks for the cache & a favourite point from us. Cheers [^]
Found on a day out with family, lovely spot and a great cache container. You guys should put more out like these. Tftc fav point from me

Nice one, well constructed, this one is only 300 metres from home went to find this one on Friday but wrong time of day there was a heap of school kids in the park so left for today. Just a note be aware I have seen a few snakes (blacks) in this area. TFTC and gets a favourite from me.
We couldn't leave this one for very long as it was our closest unfound traditional cache to home.
We went through the drive through at the local Golden Arches and had a picnic tea and let the kids have a play on the playground.
After the gourmet affair was consumed, Mrs. Lost Wanderer went for a little walk to get the cache. After reading the cache page that described a bison in a tree, the thoughts of "needle in a haystack" and "oh great, a DNF is on the way", Mrs. Lost Wanderer was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the quality of the hide.
Cache containers like this are worthy of a favourite point from us!!!
Signed the log TLW.
Thanks for bringing us to the great little spot.

Found on a wet, slippery evening with my sidekick Jake! Very well made, I love it when you can see all the effort in a cache hide tftc
Out and about on a Friday night thought we'd stop by for a find here. Friends of ours live just across the roundabout so been to this park a few times before.
The Geokids were keen for a find but Big Ez came up with the very nicely camo'd cache as it was a little bit out of reach for the kidlets.
Mrs H is a proud former Beechworth SC student with heaps of great memories! (not mentioning the years... I'm old!) so many thanks to Ben & the BSC students for this cache! Nicely done.
TNLN SL! Cheers!

I thought I'd wait until the FTF was gone before logging this one, as I did have a role to play in its creation.
Go BSC!

Still a bit warm to sleep, so I ducked out for a quick find on the deadly treadly at 10pm.
A quick find on a barmy night, thanks for the hide.
