This one took me a long time to find as the cords were out about 10m. I looked in the the location a few time without luck and in the end I thought it has to be there as that is only place that made sense and in the end found it well and truely buried for some reason. TFTC
Not sure if gpso the Fritz or coords need updating. But cool place to put one! Tftc
Finally added a new cache to the spot with a bit of natural camouflage. Remember, GPS is off, its above the track, not below.Happy caching!!
DNF. Found the location by reading logs about GPS being off. its above the track. We looked around the suspicious stump but nothing was found. Guessing it could have been muffled.
Found the suspicious stump but nothing in it, maybe it has been muggled, still a good place for geocaching
We're stumped! Nothing in the obvious spot even with some digging. GPS pointed towards the water.
Out and about again, headed around Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 15488, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to Fabfamof4 for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 8. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers Fabfamof4! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Stump is about 10m off. If it wasnt for the hint, we would have wrongly down risking falling off ledge Nothing in the stump
There aren't too many objects matching the hint, and the one that seemed most likely was container-less - perhaps it has fallen too deep? Thanks anyway!
Super quick find with the clue. Gps all over the place. There was a water dragon guarding the cache!
Great day wandering around the lakes and surrounds today. This was a fun one but spent aaaages looking at the wrong location. Eventually got it. Tftc!
Finally found it. Think the coords are a bit off. I got a difference of 9m tftc
In Australia for work, the women's world cup, and today a late start. So in the morning some time to do some geocaching. Looked at the map and this looked like a nice park. But expected more of a city park, but is a very nice not feeling like being in the city park with a proper hike around the water. Started with 10 and worked my way backwards. Thank very much for showing this nice spot of nature. Seen some nice reptiles and birds along the way.
And so I also found Lake 7 and converted into a smiley.
Fabfamof4 thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Netherlands .

It took me a little while to find the hint spot, but I got there in the end This lake is beautiful
Out for a spot of caching after a hiatus on a day that was to be raining but the clouds parted long enough for us to enjoy the walk around the lake. Was with contactpete, Czech_That_Out and UnicornPrincess418.
Found after a little while. Very clever hiding place. Sneaky!

Out for a walk with mummy (spy 79), daddy (contactpete) and BB (Czech_That_Out). Was a long walk and my legs hurt but we did have fun finding these caches around the lake.
Found this one after a little look around.

We looked and looked then as we were about to leave it too was located. Nice to grab this smiley nearly 10 years later
Found it thanks!didn’t have a pen this time so I think I will leave the other ones for a trip where macveitch3 doesn’t have a muddy bum and I have a pen!
Tough series, couldn't get the first 6! First clue that was of assistance. GPS isnt close to cache. Tftc
Today me and DBJ decided to go for a nice walk around Lake Parramatta. She grew up the in the area, so she knew the trails well, but I’d never been here before. We managed to find almost all of them, and gave a lot of effort to the ones we couldn’t find. I enjoyed the walk, it felt further than it was, but it was quite beautiful, although the water is dirty.
We actually initially passed this one and had to double back to find it. Luckily this one was also a quick find, as it was getting late and we wanted dinner. TFTC

Found It!
This is a busy track. Found the cache after waiting for some people to move on.

Cache was easy to find as the rock wasn't covering it. I signed the log though it is wet and I replaced it under the rock.
Scrabbled around a bit but cache was soon in hand
Thank God I found this one,,,,, you will see what I mean!!
TFTC!!
Log to wet to write on so piccie for proof

Not the best coordinates in this series, but unlike others, there is a strong external visual clue. TftC.
Found early in the morning before work and before the rains set in.
I was fortunate that i was able to enjoy a leisurely walk to the Gz without bumping into a single other person.
Having read some of the other comments i actually took the advice a little too far and began my search too far from the coords. It was only after i pulled back in a bit that i spotted the clue and found the cache.
Thanks.

Something was a little off about this one...and it wasn't only the GPS! Hint absolutely was necessary in my case as the GPS wasn't anywhere close.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Doing a nice walk around the lake with kids and dogs. Stopped for a break and found we were sitting right by this one.
Found. Full of water. Geocachers pls replace these canisters up side down and perched where possible.
As per other logs on this Cache the GPS is a bit off. Use the hint and think about it.
Nice place to sit and allow 10 minutes drying time in the sun and it’s just signable !
TFTC - excellent walk around here.

Went on a walk after work. Beautiful lake thanks for bringing us here. Found with gusph
GPS pointed us in the wrong direction but clue helped, was a quick find once we expanded our search
App navigates to wrong spot. Follow the hint, it is above the track, and there is only one stump to find!! TFTC
Pretty easy find.
The original plastic bag with the log is full of water and something else. Someone has replaced with some new paper. Not protected though.

This one took a bit longer than the others. Went to wrong stump initially then looked at the right one but didn’t have a feel around and then walked aimlessly around for awhile then went back to the stump and felt around and then it appeared.
Nice walk around the lake
Log to wet to sign
I put a few new sheets in
Needs maintenance
