Went to check cache this morning and discovered it's gone. Had a good look and are unable to locate, will construct a replacement cache this weekend and re-enable next week.
Found this one just lying on the ground in full view. Will send pics to CO. SL tftc
Was about to give up and then spied what we were looking for. Great camouflage. Didn't want to disturb log as it was too tiny and flimsy.
I could sadly not find it, I looked everywhere but did not see it. Better luck next time
Yay found it on my second attempt! We actually did a D5 yesterday in 10 mins but this one grabbed another half hour out of our lives haha awesome camo thanks for the cache.
Great camouflage! Didn't have a pen at the time so wasn't able to sign. But one of our favourites (me and _ellenevelyn)
A quick easy find for menon this chilly winters morning. Cache all good and so is the log lots of space left. Tftf

Yey my first ever cache i found it . Was cleverly camouflaged and so small no log but i left a log date in there. Hope this was ok to do . New to this but now hooked ☺
I found this cache today at 1:10pm as number 8 of 13 on our Bayside Bash in company of Cold Freeze. A second quick pick up on a couple of the caches that we just missed out on picking up when we were nearby a few weeks back. A nice hide that Cold Freeze spotted. Thanks from D B-A.
With Mrs one-eyed we spent a short while caching on this Anniversary Date of caching, and following two previous DNF'S found this one okay.
Clever Hide.

Tiniest we've seen. Good thing for the hook. Nice use of natural camouflage. Thanks.
I had to work fast,

Very good camo found it on our second attempt. Previous logs helped.TFTH. Signed log.
Finally found it, crazy good geocache, best one yet. Just like another said, the hook gave it away.
#141. found this one the other day whilst trying to pick up a few caches before it got dark. Unfortunately this was the only successful one. Took us a few minutes but the cache was in hand quite quickly after we read some of the logs. TFTC.
Out today with Sknornithosaurus doing some caching and riding and completing some caches in Parkdale and Mordialloc!! The weather was beautiful for a day of caching and we collected some great caches... We grabbed some Multis, Puzzles and of course some Traditionals!! This one was well hidden but once we found it we we killing ourselves, very nice, I have attached photo as we couldn't get log book out so proof that we found it, but TFTC anyway
A friend up the road had an Atari 2600, and I remember one summer, we had plenty of fun as we honed our skills in Asteroid and Pitfall in particular.
After a third loop of GZ, I spotted what I needed to. It is very effective camo!
Thanks to Blanksy for the cache.

Thanks FnKPatrolling, dropped by and retrieved cache and appropriate bits. The log was almost full and some repairs are needed so I've taken it home for some TLC. I will have it back before the weekend.
down this way today quick find as cache was on the ground did not know where it should be so hid close thanks
Initially, I have to sincerely apologise for how long it has taken me to log these caches (logging on 2/1/15). I guess you could say it was a New Years Resolution to finish all of the logs...?
This was the 4th find of today on a little drive to clear out some newly published caches.
I used to have a cache in this park, but a lack of maintenance lead to its demise
Good to see another one here. After avoiding the gaze of a muggle, I was soon signing the log and on my way.
Thanks Blanksy

We didn't find this geocache, found the location within 1m thanks to the GPS but it was getting too dark to continue on, great hiding spot & camouflage obviously haha.
It was Anzac Day and lovely sunny weather. This was good for caching, but the muggles were out in force, and a few caches had to be left because of it. I must have circled around at least 10 times, looking harder each time. And then, finally, I spotted something and bingo, Nicely hidden!
My first computer was a SYM-1, a 6502 based single board computer with 1 K of RAM, 6 LED Digit display, and a 4x4 membrane keyboard and programmed in machine code (not even assembler). But a great start to hardware and the intimates of computing.
Thanks to Blanksy for the cache.

After dropping off the kids where they needed to be after work the weather looked like it was clearing up a bit but as soon as I got in the car it rained again.
Eventually after about 30 minutes through the traffic I arrived at a deserted GZ (what a surprise in this weather), popped up the umbrella and wandered over and after a minute or so search and thanks to accurate coordinates I had the extremely small cache in hand. It took about 5 times longer to unroll, sign and re roll the log under the umbrella than it took to find it.
Ah, the Atari 2600. I still remember the year it came out and my cousin's dad brought one back from a trip he had overseas so my cousin had it before most people in Australia. I was really impressed with the color graphics, joystick, etc. I was so jealous. Looking back now it is still very impressive the games they produced with such small amounts of memory in those cartridges.
A while later I eventually got a Colecovision console and got the Atari 2600 adapter for it just so I could bring back memories of the games my cousin had ... "Frogger", "Adventure", "River Raid" and "Yars Revenge" were my favourite games.
Thanks Blanksy for the memories, the cache, the annoying small log, the hunt and the fun.

Out for another awesome caching adventure with BorisB&Natasha. We decided to have an early start today which paid off as many of the areas we visited were deserted.
We looked in quite a few obvious places for this one but came up empty handed. Once we knew what we were looking for it was an easy find but very well done.
Thanks for the cache Blanksy.

Out for another fun filled day of caching with Nut bear.
This took a little while to find until we read the cache page and realised we were looking for a nano. After we read that we found the cache very quickly. Should learn to do that more often. What a great cache for your first hide. Look forward to the rest of your series.
Thanks Blanksy for the cache and the challenge.

TNLN, thanks Blanksy.

I tend to dislike nanos quite a lot, especial when they're in a park or bushes. However this one was the complete opposite. I walked to GZ thinking where could you possibly hide a nano as there was no metal around. So I started looking for some hiding places that could fit a nano (there's a lot!) when I noticed something that didn't seem quite right. I went to investigate and surely enough the cache was there. Great camo, probably the only nano I've ever liked so far. TFTC
I have looked at this area before and thought it should have a cache. Knocked off a few while in the area visiting grand children. I must admit my other half found it. Nice cache!! thanks.

What a great effort for a first up cache. I can't wait to find more. Keep up the great work Blanksy. SL
I liked this hide - a variation on a theme that I have not seen before, and a hide that cachers should get but muggles should not. Nicely done Blanksy.
I was in the area picking up some things for home with my two boys and we decided we had some time to pick up a few caches as we made our way back home.
Our last find before heading for home. I had the pleasure of own a Dick Smith Wizard back in the days. Ohh memories. Cache found and log signed.
Thanks Blanksy.

Out and about with my caching buddy Slink1 doing a few and caching around showers. We had a great day despite the weather. My thanks to all the cache owners. TNLN TFTC SL
After searching for a while we gave up but about 30m away we found a strange looking cylindrical object with some bottletops attached and a hole in it laying on top of a picnic table.
Has it been muggled??????
Has it been muggled??????
I doubt very much that it has been muggled as I was there around 12:45pm today and no-one else was to be seen.
I saw the interesting creation on the table as well but rest assured that it has nothing to do with the cache.

Just returned from Cache, it is still there and okay, worth pointing out that the cache is _not_ on private property ie: is not on the fence line, please respect the neighbours.
The Atari brings back fond memories. It was my favourite console by far... Loved the camo and hide Blanksy - it's the first type which we've come across in our travels. Definitely worthy of a favourite in our books! TFTC
After parking on the wrong street we quickly made our way to gz. Sneaky little hide. Nice little park tucked into a quiet neighbourhood. Tftc tnln sl
Out for a late night cache with PantherX and Burge. Had lived in the area for a long time however never been to any of the places on the outing.
Sorry for the late log, I forgot they were on my GPS...

Find number 518
Out with PantherX, Burge , Cliffhanger3 and Water Monster. After a rather long hiatus where life got int he way of the important activity of caching it was good to be on the trail again. As is often the case my absence had meant that areas that had been previously largely clleared were now once more dotted with little gems that needed the smiley face treatment. 7 of 11.
So many little parks with hidden surprises.
Thanks Blanksy

Find 1055 at 22:26. I was out caching with Burge, Big Blank and Cliffhanger3 tonight on one of our usual night caching adventures. We decided to target Mordialloc/Mentone on this run to pick up some of the new caches in the area - and there's certainly been a lot of new ones lately! All up we found 16 tonight and this was find number 6.
As we drove to GZ we weren't quite sure where to access the cache from as the park wasn't on our maps. After a little walk around the block we worked out where we needed to go and the clever little hide was found shortly after. Thanks for the cache, Blanksy!

Found it with noworries+wife. What an awesome cache. Especially for a first, took us a while to locate at 10:00 pm under torchlight. TFTCSL visited TB.
Found with T1nkrman. Well done Blanksy. A fantastic first hide and a favourite point for you. Find #382

Clever hide. I love the work that go into camouflaging these; it almost counteracts my dislike of nanos! Got to GZ easily enough and lucky to spot it just as it was getting dark. Signed and on the way. Great work with recent caches in the Parkdale area. Thanks for this one Blanksy.

Back again better look and there it was ...clever hide.My cacheing mate Scotttiew was impressed.
Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, tonight we headed over the westgate and picked up a few caches out that way, the inal cache for the night was a triumph as we finally crossed The Zombie resurection of the list. Thanks Blanksy for the cache.

After a short hiatus, Rebel Acts and I decided to take a night time trip down the west side of Port Phillip Bay collecting caches as we went. A good night, with lots of laughs. Thanks to all the CO's for their cache placements. Nice camo, but found quickly.
Found @ 11:53am, find # 2969.
On the way to the supermarket, I stopped off at a few newbies that I haven't been out to yet.
I arrived at this park land and headed over towards a nice big tree which appeared to be GZ. I walked around and around this big tree but I wasn't seeing anything, I then had a closer inspection and touched something that moved, so I had a closer look again and noticed something that wasn't natural and I knew that I was onto something, the cache was found which is a very nice hide. Well done and your first hide.
Thanks to Blanksy for placing this cache.
I still have one of these Atari 2600 machines not that its been used in a very long time.

Thought this was going to be easy as I headed towards GZ, but then checked that it was a nano - that often spells trouble. It required a very thorough inspection before I put my hand on the well camo'd cache. And yes, I can recall playing with the Atari - how times have changed! TFTC

A great theme for a series of caches! I am a bit young for this console. My first memories of computer games was Wonderboy on a Sega Master System, so will wait and see if that comes up at all in this series.
The cache was a great construction. Unlike gmj3191 I like nano caches, as long as I can find them!!
Great job Blanksy, you have encouraged me to start placing a couple of my own caches to give back in the game.

Was at home preparing for a day of fun, you know, washing, ironing, grocery shopping etc and the Chief rang to say (a) he was stuck in traffic heading into the city and (b) there’s a new cache just been published close to home, hint, hint! Alright, I’ll go look for you!
Couldn’t locate a GPS so I just grabbed my phone and the keys for the easiest car to get out and I was on my way. Knew exactly where I was heading but that was as far as I got. The phone wanted me here, there, no, over there. Eventually I decided to ignore the stupid thing and concentrated my search on one spot in particular. Just as I was starting to think to myself 'I really don’t have time for this!', I spotted something. Signed the log in first place, although I might have written down the wrong date because I don’t know what day I’m up to! Just as I was making my way back to the car and home to the pile of washing gmj3191 showed up so I stayed to watch the fun. He found it faster than I did, amazing the difference a GPS makes! TFTC fun Blanksy, well constructed clever first cache! Looking forward to the next instalment.

I needed a cache today to fill in another blank on my P366 matrix.
I was about to decide which of the nearest unfound caches would be my target, when this one was published about 8km away from home.
Being retired gives me a bit of an advantage at this time of day, but a number of red lights and the adroitness of Earthbound 99 had me beaten for FTF honours well before I arrived, and she was heading back to the car when I got there.
Deb stayed and we chatted while I looked, and found the very nicely engineered hide. Although not a lover of nanos, as Deb well knows, really well knows, I did like the way this was done and I'll give it a fav point because you don't often find such a nice construction on a first cache. I give very few favs for nanos, did I mention that?
Although I was in my 20s during the 70s, I did not own an Atari. My first computer was a Motorola 6800 Evaluation Kit with a hex keyboard, and from that I went to a TRS80.
Thanks for placing this cache Blanksy

Whilst mulling over the birthday of Apple and the old table top Space Invaders and how my first laptop weighed more than our first born child, we discovered that our mate Blanksy had hidden his first cache. Excitedly, we bundled the junior hanna4ds into the car instead of into bed where they should've been and headed off, luckily to a location not far away.
Whilst the kids went straight for the play equipment Mr hannaf4d and I went straight for the obvious point with only a phone close at hand (I thought he was bringing the GSP; he thought I had it!) to guide us. A quick search within the area and bingo, bango, we'd found it.
This is a great cache, with lots of thought and care put into it. A visit every now and again to check on its camo and it should be there for years to come.
Can't wait for the second instalment!
